Jonathan McReynolds on Tour
After his latest album Make Room debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel chart, racked up 1.3 million streams in its first week of release and received a Grammy nod for the Best Gospel Album of 2018, there was only one thing for Jonathan McReynolds to do: take his show on the road. But the Make More Room tour is about more than the powerful, uplifting, R&B-flavored worship music that's earned McReynolds legions of devoted fans and admirers, including luminaries like India.Irie, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber. It's a chance for McReynolds to bring his ministry across the United States. Even with his heaps of musical accolades — along with the Grammy nod, he's also scored two Billboard No. 1 albums and one Billboard No. 1 song — McReynolds is dedicated to spreading the word of Christ far and wide via every possible channel. On YouTube, his Bible-teaching videos regularly rack up tens of thousands of views, and he published his first book, titled Make Room: Finding Where Faith Fits, in November of 2018, a volume filled with personal observations, spiritual lessons and scripture-based advice gleaned from a lifetime in the church. Whether by the written word, recorded music or his personal preference, live and in-person, McReynolds lives to spread the teachings of Christ to audiences thirsty for divine intervention.
McReynolds was basically born into the church. He grew up the son of a single mother on the South Side of Chicago, and began playing drums and organ and singing in the youth choir at a young age. Along with the influence of gospel greats like Kim Burrell, Smokie Norful and Israel Houghton, he looked up to secular superstars like Stevie Wonder, John Mayer and Paul McCartney. He released his first album, called Life Music, in 2012, when he was 23 years old, and since then has seen his career skyrocket. His live performances typically find him center stage, sharing the spotlight with only his golden singing voice, his righteous word and an acoustic guitar — a mesmerising, uplifting experience that will fill your soul.

by Carrie on 5/1/23Minglewood Hall - MemphisSeeing Jonathan was a REAL Treat and hearing him sing in person was extra great! I just knew Row 1, Seat 5 was the ideal seat. NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! When the performance took place; the people on the side where I was could not see the video clip; nor could we see Jonathan playing the keyboard. And once EVERY ONE stood up; we could barely get glimpses of Jonathan. I made my way to the front edge to take pictures and capture some of the performance. Later at home viewing my footage; I find the I could not hear Jonathan because of the huge speaker noise drowning out Jonathan’s singing. That was my first time at Minglewood so I didn’t know the true visuals.

My experience was especially personal and unique and it sometimes felt that some pivotal moments of the ministry were designed with me in mind. Everything that happend in Town Hall, NYC on April 25th has further catapulted me into the most unbelievably beautiful and bountiful season of my life. Words are not enough to express how deeply grateful I am for Jonathans life of service.

I’m still trying to understanding why did they feel the need to mark my hands if I did not have a wrist band. That made absolutely NO SENSE!!! If i’m not drinking alcohol, I don’t get a wrist band it’s that simple.

I came with an high expectancy and He did NOT disappoint! I am true fan of his musical abilities, but most importantly his transparency and vulnerability. I pray he continues to be lead by the HolySpirit and encourage us to forever speak OUR TRUTH💛

I love the video about humanitarian works and being a blessing to others. I pray the continues to bless hos life, talent and abilities to be a vessel for the Lord and speak into peoples lives through his music.

Ticket master did not inform me of the correct meet and greet time and we missed the meet and greet. I’m requesting a refund fir the meet and greet tickets.

The background singers could sing for me any day. I was in awe when Jonathan sang God is good. Just the few words were so powerful. Yes the Dj had me up out of my seat singing. I would definitely go see Jonathan again if he comes to NY.
