About

JON BELLION IN CONCERT:

Jon Bellion creates eclectic, hyper-creative pop music that's undeniably catchy despite its unwillingness to fit neatly into any genre buckets. The singer, producer, and rapper describes his 2015 single "Woodstock" as a "psychedelic musical fiction", and he delivers on that promise with a euphoric combination of hip hop beats, soaring melodic hooks, and hallucinatory lyrics. In concert Bellion brings his fresh sound to brilliant life, executing razor-sharp harmonies with his two backup singers while a DJ, drummer, and guitarist add dimension to his unique productions. From the sugary harmonies and beatboxed rhythms of "Simple and Sweet" to the sing-along melody and gentle piano of "The Wonder Years", Bellion always treats ticket buyers to a party-worthy concert experience that perfectly blend the sweetness of pop with the swagger of hip hop.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Jon Bellion was born on Long Island, NY, and grew up focused on his love of basketball before starting to play music in high school. After graduating he studied music at Long Island's Five Towns College before his growing involvement in the local music scene convinced him to drop out and pursue his passion on his own terms. He released his debut mixtape Scattered Thoughts Vol. 1 in 2011 and signed with Visionary Music Group the following year to release a cover of Drake's "The Motto". Following his second mixtape Translations Through Speakers, Bellion got a boost when he wrote the chorus for Eminem and Rihanna's 2013 smash "The Monster".  He hit the road for his first US tour in 2014, impressing fans with his a confident and at-ease performance style that belied his newcomer status. With his fourth mixtape The Definition generating buzz in 2015, Bellion will continue to keep bodies moving on his Definition Tour.

JON WAS OVER THE TOP !!!

by SHAMISGRAHAM on 12/11/16The Paramount - Huntington

Jon started out strong and kept everyone going the whole show. Jon and his band mates are full of energy and know how to work the crowd. The addition of a live band was probably challenging but worked well together. I had friends with me that never heard Jon,s music and they told me he is very talented and he will be going places. I am from the area where Jon grew up and he truly shows his passion and drive for the music he writes. Jon is the Human Condition!!

    INCREDIBLE!

by Skiimysterr on 11/26/16Terminal 5 - New York

SOLD OUT HOMETOWN SHOW!!! Saw Jon at Terminal 5 in NYC for the first time and was absolutely blown away. He is a true genius who opens his soul every time he gets on stage. Soon enough he'll be playing stadiums with the likes of other Tri-State greats like Bon Jovi, Springsteen & Billy Joel.

    Exceeded expectations

by hbass on 11/26/16Electric Factory - Philadelphia

Honestly, my expectations were starting to dwindle deciding whether or not it would be a good concert or not but from the first song he played, he changed any vibing songs to upbeat, hype rock songs

    Jon Bellion was incredible!!!

by Kenozby on 11/26/16Terminal 5 - New York

The experience of seeing Jon live was incredible. The way he worked the crowd while everyone was singing along was truly unforgetable. His speeches about life and chasing you dreams in between songs were so empowering. He manipulated his songs live and the overall experience is unforgettable. You walk out of the show with a smile on your face that you cannot help but keep.

Jon Bellion was on another level!!

by AugustaGal on 11/21/16Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

Jon's passion for his music was so evident in his performance. Each and every song had us on our feet and completely living in the moment. Our only complaint is that he didn't sing EVERY one of his songs. Clark Beckham, from American Idol, opened for him and he was phenomenal as well. We just wish the night didn't have to end.

    Legendary

by savannahmeyer on 11/2/16Myth - Maplewood

This is the best show I've ever attended in terms of the performance! Although the crowd was one of the worst I've experienced, Jon, Alec, Blaque Keyz, and Travis put on an unforgettable show. Jon Bellion is a legend!

    Alec Benjamin was the best!!!

    by BestMomEver74 on 11/2/16Myth - Maplewood

Jon's performance was ok but the best part of the concert was Alec Benjamin. He came out to us while we were waiting in line and played his guitar!!! I was bummed that he only played four songs during the concert. I wish I could have heard more!!!!

Jon was amazing! The concert structure was not.

by Lauritz on 11/2/16Myth - Maplewood

When Jon went on it was great, but it started an hour late and they had so many singers before Jon, so it got a little long.

    by K1111 on 11/2/16Myth - Maplewood

Jon Bellion was so energetic and really got the crowd excited. This was a birthday present for my boyfriend so I didn't know much of his music, but I had a blast and heard a bunch of awesome songs I didn't know prior to the concert. Venue was great, there wasn't a bad seat in the whole place. We are definitely going to see Jon Bellion again!!

The venue was incredible, small enough to feel like a personal concert, but large enough to fit a large crowd. The songs were all great

By far one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I was front row and dead center- I couldn't have gotten any luckier. The sound check & Q/A was so fun. The meet and greet was awesome. Jon couldn't have been any sweeter. He was a complete angel. It was absolutely worth the money. The concert was amazing as well. High energy, great music. Made everyone dance. By far the BEST concert I've been to!!!

I went and saw Jon Bellion perform in Cleveland late June-- before All Time Low came on the radio and shortly after The Human Condition was released. This was such an incredible concert and everyone there knew all the words to all his songs. Seeing how appreciative Blaque Keys, Travis Mendes, Jon Bellion, and their crew was for that show was unforgettable. I was so thrilled then they announced Part II and it opened up in Columbus. I loved their performance and the songs were unique as ever...but what really bothers me is how a lot of the people that attended didn't seem to know any of his older songs and I believe this is due to the fact All Time Low became so popular. I think most kids and people in attendance came for that song solely. The Jim Morrison encore was not as exciting or hype as Cleveland and actually at one point -- I can't remember what song it was -- but Jon held the mic to the crowd to finish a lyric, but I felt like (and I may be wrong) the crowd was either mumbling something or looking at him clueless. It looked like Bellion sorta shook his head or was frustrated with the crowd. As a huge admirer of Beautiful Mind, it made me upset seeing the crowd not as excited and clueless to what songs were playing. I was a little far back and off to the side in the pit, so it was kinda difficult to see over taller people. I wish all the people who were there for the entire group, every song, and had followed them for a while, were able to be up front so that way Beautiful Mind would be more enthusiastic, as well as, their more loyal fans.
