Jon B was great. His voice was just like back in the day. Great R&B sounds and great ballads. Unfortunately the heat in the Howard Theatre was not working or not turned on. The temperature outside was like 30 degrees as the show was in January in DC. And no heat in the venue! Outrageous! I wont be returning to the Howard!
JON B was good. The venue was cold no heat and served no food. I wont be attending another concert at the Howard Theater it was a big disappointment.
The show was great I wish I would have got on the floor to be front row. The venue sitting at the top felt like the air conditioner was on.
Jon b sounds just like he did when he first hit the seen in the 90s. This was my second time seeing him. Class act, definitely well worth ticket price for amount for time on stage which was a little over an hour. Go see him. Old school real music!!!!
OMG, Jon B was amazing. He still looks & sounds as good as he did back in the day. He was so friendly, humble, & appreciative to the crowd. He was also sexy but respectful. His show was so good that I'm considering trying to see him again in Baltimore in Oct or DC in Feb. Best show I've seen this year & I've been to a lot of concerts. Much love & respect to Jon B!
Concert was amazing, he was energetic soulful, he song most of his hits. He got off the stage & engaged with the fans. Would see him again..
This was an amazing venue at the Birchmere . Jon B did an amazing show! His voice was true to his records and really made for a great show. I wished the show was a little longer!
Jon. B was so awesome!! He looked and sound the same way. SO HANDSOME! He showed off his piano skills, which were absolutely GREAT. I LOVED the crowd participation and how he entertained us all; men and women. People were standing up dancing, singing, and waving their hands in the air! As I previously mentioned, IT WAS AWESOME!! Whenever he comes back I will DEFINITELY see him again and make it "Girls Trip"
The venue is pretty standard among venues like this. Chairs aren't super comfortable but they'll do. Long tables and short or two seaters at different tiers so people can see. There are some obstructed views. Too dark to know if it was clean. lol The food was surprisingly good and our waiter, Spencer, was fast and attentive. So that was nice. Jon B, well I definitely was a fan in the 90's but not familiar with anything new. I went to this show for my homegirl's bday. Wouldn't be something I would choose on my own. His performance was okay. He is obviously musically inclined and has soul. He just wasn't impactful for me as a live show. He voice seemed to get tired, a couple of times I could hear he messed up. His band was supportive but no one stood out. There was some random, security?, dude that was essentially on the stage the whole time cell phone recording. He was very distracting. So eh. I wouldn't go again. But other people in the venue seemed to LOVE the show. Screaming and what not. I do love that he has a black wife. lol
The performance was not as good as I had expected of the artist.
Jon B is still talented and so suave. Pls come bk!

Jon B was fantastic. Great show, music sounded good, and he kept the audience engaged.
Truly amazing show. He performed quite a few of his hits and some old school songs as well. He was very energetic, great performer. Hope to see him again and can perform a few songs from some of his newer albums.
I went to see Jon B in concert on Friday August 25 th, 2017 in Washington, DC & the following night in New York ....Both Concerts were amazing!!!
I have seen Jon B at Lehman College and he was good, but this show at B B Kings was GREAT!!!

Jon B sounded amazing. He looks so good! He gave a great performance and engaged with the crowd. He sung all his great hits.
