Been trying to see John Waite for several decades; mainly for his work with The Baby’s but my wife really enjoyed his solo work and me too. He and the band sounded great at the Stater Brothers Patio at Toyota Arena. Nice intimate outdoor space to see them perform. Opening act Ronboy was good, had a few good songs we liked.
John Waite is always great. He does The Baby’s, Bad English and solo music. It was an outdoor show, which was Bitchen as it was small and intimate. This was the most fun I’ve had in a long time! Thanks John! 🥰
I recently had the privilege of attending the John Waite concert on the patio of the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. Such a great experience. Totally intimate venue - I would guess fewer than 200 individuals. A very simple stage - not over produced. Just John and his bandmates. Sound was great. So very personal. John interacted with the small crowd. Singing was top-notch. Definitely did not hold back. I will definitely attend other concerts of this nature at this venue. Going in, I wasn't sure what to expect. Coming out, I could not have asked for more. Incredible experience!
Great set list and sound. John, Roger, Mark and Tim sounded perfect as always and gave a great show.
Great live performer. Exceptional band. You don't get cheated. A must see.
Loved the interactions with the crowd! He is such a great entertainer
Great live show! What a pro- loses a guitar string and no tech to fix it - huddles the band and presses on with his hits. Great song writing, live sound and John’s voice is solid as ever. If you had a doubt, listen to him cover whole lotta love.
John Waite as always put on a fabulous performance!! The Northern Lights Theater is wonderful venue!! Not a bad seat in the house!
Excellent music performed in a high quality fashion!!
Great venue, first time going and I would highly recommend this place to see a show
Was a great show , he sounded very good would see John Waite again
We were at table 55, it was hard to hear him when he was speaking. They had all of us crammed together, Too close for comfort!!! Hello COVID! Good thing that they have the large tv screens. Otherwise we wouldn’t of been able to see him.
John Waite never disappoints, and this time was no exception ! BUT I'LL NEVER GO SEE ANOTHER SHOW AT ANDIAMO'S CELEBRITY SHOWROOM!!! To say there was a complete and utter disregard for patron comfort would be an understatement !!! Packed us in tighter than sardines !!! I hope John picks a different venue next time!
John Waite and his band were phenomenal as if they never missed a beat since the 70’s! Enjoyed it immensely Food and service was good, parking was a bit chaotic.
From the venue, the waitress Sarah, to John Waite’s performance everything was wonderful!! Would see him 1,000x again!!! Keep rocking John, your fans love you!!
I'm a huge Babys fan, and of John Waite in general. The set started out slow, with the first 6 songs being acoustical. Then, when the rest of the band came out, they attempted some Babys songs. Understandably, these were complex recordings with orchestra back in the 70's. I feel he should have a keyboard player in the band at the very least. While his voice still sounds great, the timing of the lyrics to these favorite songs was subpar. I have waited a long time to finally see him, and I would say that I left mildly disappointed.
He was awesome. Only problem was the people by us had issues with the ladies dancing. This was definately a get up and dance thing. Don't know why people got so cranky. John rocked the place.
Had a nice romantic dinner with my girlfriend and the concert was incredible. My girlfriend danced all night.
John Waite and his band put on an incredible show! Can’t wait to see them again.
