  • Great show

Absolutely hysterical from the first words out of his mouth...my stomach hurt at the end of the night from laughing so hard. Really surprised by the unexpected dark humor. If you get a chance to attend the April 23rd show I would grab a ticket!

This was incredible. I took my sister for her birthday, and drove all the way from DC for this show. He was very human, quick-witted, vulnerable, and funny as all hell, as usual.

  • Could have been better...

by GMGCPA on 8/14/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 2 out of 5

At the Westbury Music Fair, Mulaney spent most of his 90 minute performance with his back towards us, didn't appreciate that everyone's phones/smartwatches were locked up and had to get them back in a downpour...Mulaney's devil stories were awful to hear, he was much better on TV...very very disappointing performance...

  • John Mulaney was Amazing!

by Twirlgirl331 on 8/11/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I saw John Mulaney live. The opening act was really solid. John was outstanding! His material and delivery was over the top. I feel so fortunate that he performed here, basically in my backyard. I will see him every time he performs locally and will travel for his shows.

  • great show!

by jules on 8/11/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 4 out of 5

Im a huge john mulaney fan and im so happy i finally got to see him live! the set was funny and his physical comedy is amazing. my only critiques is that it was a bit long ? it was an hour and a half when his usual set is an hour. i think he couldve trimmed some jokes down and let the show be an hour instead. it started off really good but i felt as it when on some of the jokes were dragging on a bit too long for my taste. still overall really funny and i had a blast. definitely want to see mulaney again in the future!!!

  • Mulaney is the GOAT!

by Kiki on 8/11/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

John Mulaney gave an incredible performance! His material hit the mark 100%. I couldn't believe he kept up such a fast pace for such a long show. Every time I thought he was about to wind down, he changed topics and continued to keep the audience in the palm of his hand. NON-STOP laughter! As for the venue, I have been to Westbury many many times. It was a bit daunting to give up your phone and have it bagged during the performance. I guess it's to prevent people from filming. I was glad I got there early since it was a bit chaotic. The theatre employees seemed a little frantic, but it didn't take away from the show. He was amazing!

  • Worst parking ever ever!

by Carl on 8/11/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 2 out of 5

John Mulaney was great (what we got to see of him) but the venue does not have enough parking to accommodate the cars coming in and had security personnel lead our car and many others into the back of a closed business’s parking lot where they were never authorized to take us. The business must have been tired of their lot and property being used so they blocked us in with their trucks and we could not park or leave. Police had to come and we were forced to leave our cars wherever we could find a place and walk in the rain all the way back to the theater where we missed the beginning of the show we paid for. Would seriously consider never going back.

  • The Funniest Man Alive

by Tamar on 8/11/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

John Mulaney is a must-see act! I’ve seen him live twice and both times I was crying from laughter. I literally laughed the entire show. Everyone who loves comedy MUST see him live!

  • Great Show

by Alan on 8/11/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

John was fantastic last night. He went on for over an hour and a half and was very clever and very funny. So glad to have gone to the show.

  • Way to go John Melany!

by Dr Jax, NH on 8/11/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

My first stand up show, great venue and John was outstanding! I brought my two teenage daughters, having watched all his shows, we were big fans before the show. Now, we’re hooked! I don’t find crudity or meanness funny, but my instincts that this would be a show that I could bring my kids to, was exactly right! Highly recommend! Hilarious, witty, family friendly! As a psychologist, I’m impressed with John’s perseverance! Well done and recovery works for you!

  • Just OK

by AMD on 8/11/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 3 out of 5

Love John Mulaney with my whole heart, but this content was a miss for me. Not his best set IMO. This was the first time seeing him live and I was hopeful for the experience of a lifetime, but left feeling a bit disappointed.

  • He Wasn't "Terrible"!

by Margot N. on 7/17/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

There's nothing like leaving your job at Mt. Kisco's Target location to see John Mulaney perform at the Capitol Theatre only for Mr. Mulaney to state that your place of employment is "terrible"to a crowd of hundreds. And that was just one small highlight in a night filled with a lot of laughter and a few more amused gasps. John Mulany is always on with his comedy, so it's no surprise his show was a riot. What made this show special though, was just how engaged with the audience he was. If someone shouted a comment at him during a routine, he was able to incorporate said comment into the show with ease and grace. And he would keep said comment as part of the show, calling back to the moment and adding a quip or two. It's also impressive how he was able to weave together two unrelated topics into one well crafted punchline. You ever think about how similar demonic possessions in movies and scaring off raccoons out of a trash can are? No? Well, John has. And he's got a few funny things to say about both. Overall, this was a wonderful night out. I'm super happy I got to see this show. It really is as good as you think it is.

  • One of the Best Stand-up Comedians

by DRob on 7/17/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

Mulaney is an exceptional performer. A great night of comedy. All new material.

  • Pure genius

by Mullaney super fan on 7/17/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

The opener was super smart and funny. A modern day Stephen Wright. Then Mulaney came out on fire and never backed off. All new material and so clever and creative. Perhaps he’s a bit more manic which made me a little concerned but overall ten out of ten and the best venue in America

  • 1st time seeing Mulaney live.

by dancegirl on 7/17/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 3 out of 5

First, the venue. While The Capital Theater is a small venue, it had the worst seats I've ever sat in. Glorified folding chairs. First and last time for this venue. Second, when Mulaney was on, he was on. Unfortunately, he keeps including an old Devil/Possession sketch that he should've junked long ago. Completely out of place and not on par with anything he talked about during the night. I'll wait for his next cable special.

  • Delightful evening.

by Gram on 7/17/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

Well planned well executed security, entering and leaving the venue. Crew was fast and efficient. John Mulaney was very funny, the show was entertaining from start to finish. It felt great to laugh long and loud. I had a wonderful evening. The opening comedian was great as well. He was right I can’t remember his name!

  • Great

We had a great time. John was hilarious and with a great disposition. Always love that venue. So glad we went

  • Generational talent

by 5am Wiffleballer on 7/16/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible show from an incredible comedian! After one ~20 minute opening act, Mulaney took the stage and I did not stop laughing out loud for the next hour and a half. Truly gifted at what he does, ranging from all his rehearsed bits to some riffing on the news from the day and the town we saw him in. This was my third time seeing him live and I hope to see him again with every new show he creates.

  • Mulaney is back
