  • Great Show, Venue Not So Much

by RLTW74 on 12/11/22The Theater at MGM National Harbor - National HarborRating: 3 out of 5

John Mulaney was funny with fresh material. We would not attend another show at the MGM Theater as it was almost like being in a high school cafeteria - folding chairs on the floor level facing straight forward. You had to constantly turn your head up to look at the large screens or over towards the stage. Also was not pleased that right before the show, and I mean like 2 hours prior you get an email telling you that your phones will have to go into there lock bags. This includes smart watches. Funny thing we went to see Seinfeld a week earlier and that wasn’t a requirement. Jerry even said take as many pictures as you want!

  • Funny comedian

by Howie on 12/7/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 5 out of 5

I received tickets to this event. I had never seen or heard anything about John Mulaney. He was hysterical! We can't stop talking about him. I highly recommend seeing his show. The only downside is parking was $30! We parked elsewhere and walked over. That is highway robbery!

  • Locked Phone

by KEM on 12/6/22iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Jon Mulaney is a great comedian, and you already know that. Here is what I didn't expect: everyone's phones got locked into little grey bags so you couldn't use them once you were inside the gates. No texting, check-ins, selfies, texts, phone calls, or recordings of the show. It was great! We were all forced to be present in the experience.

  • Absolutely Wonderful

by Melina on 12/6/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 5 out of 5

It was on my bucket list to see John Mulaney, and it was wonderful. I find that John Mulaney has been one of those comedians that’s more family friendly than others, but this time he went a different route and chose to be completely vulnerable and hilarious about his recent experience in rehab. That’s very admirable to do something completely different and share your most challenging moments with a live audience. I enjoyed my time even outside the show as we had to put our phones in pouches which facilitated many conversations with different people, which was nice. Great price for great seats.

  • He was great

by JoanB on 12/6/22iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm BeachRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was very annoying with all the various steps to get into the concert but given the world we live in.. I guess understandable. John was very funny and moving. We were happy we drove an hour to see him!

  • Post rehab story

by Nl on 12/6/22iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm BeachRating: 4 out of 5

Have been a big fan of JM for years. Glad he is doing better after rehab but would have liked enjoyed a break from the all rehab show.

  • Intelligent, intimate & funny

by Alpay on 12/6/22iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Great show ! I was not expecting such personal details. He delivers his story with great humor whilst having the audience wonder about mishaps & fortunes such a gifted young person already experienced at this relatively young age!

  • Mulaney at his best

by Adrian on 12/6/22iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm BeachRating: 5 out of 5

It's always great to see people improving their life. But John's story about doing so it's just hysterical!

  • I wouldn't know

by matt on 12/5/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 3 out of 5

We caught covid and couldn't go but the venue does not accept refunds so you're all welcome that we stayed at home because it was the responsible choice and lost 200 dollars.

  • A night to remember..

by Licciardi on 12/5/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 5 out of 5

From Scratch was a whole journey. It had excellent comedy, surprises, hard truths and new beginnings. I am grateful I was in attendance for this show.

  • Love John :)

by Kev on 12/5/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 5 out of 5

What a fantastic set! So happy to see John Mulaney back on tour. Also, his hilarious comentary on the venue helped ease the sting of the venue's obvious shortcomings.

  • Big brother

by Jack on 12/5/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 3 out of 5

The show was very good. I was disappointed it was exclusively about his rehab experience. The biggest dissatisfaction was with the police state bagging of cell phones. I would not have purchased tickets had I known

  • Awesome!

by Kerrybear on 12/5/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 5 out of 5

I love John Mulaney. The second I saw that he was touring somewhere near me, I didn’t even think and bought tickets. This is the first time I’ve ever seen him live and I definitely want to see him the next time he comes around. He’s hysterical and my favorite.

  • Sadly disappointed

by JJ on 12/5/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 3 out of 5

First time at Hertz Arena. We were uncomfortably cold. Our seats where good and we could hear the show fine. We were urged to arrive early so we did and the show was to start at “8”. The first act did not come on until 8:30. Then Mulaney came on about 9. Having see him many times on TV we did expect to see some of his “older” stuff. We understand that his intervention and rehab experiences are very important, but did not realize the entire show would revolve around only that. So that was the biggest disappointment. John is still a very talented comedian and we wish him well but most likely will not be back to any of his shows.

  • Big Dreams

by Carole on 12/5/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 5 out of 5

TRULY BEAUTIFUL. Maintaining Big Dreams and great beauty beyond drugs and by means internal, Mulaney confirms for the world that neither his talent nor our grandest dreams are drug dependant. Far superior to his earlier shows. ❤️

  • Fab Show

by Mama Sig on 12/5/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 5 out of 5

This was a poignant look at John Mulaney’s journey from addiction to recovery and somehow brilliantly funny. This is a show you don’t want to miss.

  • Excellent

by JH on 12/5/22Hertz Arena - EsteroRating: 5 out of 5

While his opening act is a big yawn, John Mulaney is anything but. His new show is both poignant and hilarious. The way he makes his road to recovery funny, just underscores his talent. It was a great show and I'd pay to see it again.

  • Requirement for Locked Phone Case

    by E. S. on 11/22/22MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 3 out of 5

John Mulaney was hilarious when we finally got into the show. The venue was majorly understaffed to accommodate the required locked phone cases. It took approximately 1.75 hours to get into the show due to locked phone cases causing us to miss the warm-up act as well as the beginning of John Mulaney's act which was very disappointing. Knowing that the locked phone cases were a requirement, there should have been additional staff on duty to accommodate this. We are huge fans of John Mulaney and spent a lot of money on the show tickets. I would request that Ticketmaster and/or John Mulaney consider reimbursement of the cost of the show tickets due to this issue.

  • Amazing show

John Mulaney gave an amazing, deeply reflective show. It was an amazing experience.
