One of the best shows ever!

    by rgm2019 on 11/16/19Potawatomi Hotel & Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Event Center - Milwaukee

John Lodge was incredible. The band was flawless. I have been to hundreds of live shows and this was one of the best ever. The venue is fantastic. They played for an hour. Took a short break. Then played for another whole hour. WOW! Loved it!

    Still Feelin' The Blues

    by RJ on 11/16/19Potawatomi Hotel & Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Event Center - Milwaukee

John Lodge is getting older, aren't we all, but the concert and band he put together was great. They played many of the Moodies best songs. Only negative is that the sound engineer for Northern Lights Theater must think the concert is in a larger venue or perhaps outside since the volume was too high. (This is a continual issue for concerts at Potawatomi.) Also, at times, vocals were drowned out by the instruments; which is too bad, since lyrics for the Moodies songs are great. Seems like everyone was having a good time feelin' the Moodies blues.

    John Lodge-Great concert

by Brian R on 2/19/19The Cabot - Beverly

The John Lodge concert at the Cabot Theatre in Beverly, MA on 2/15/19 was an all around great show. Impeccable musicianship and John's cordial stage presence made for an enjoyable evening of Moody Blues classics and new material. The Cabot crowd loved them. "I'm Just A Singer In A Rock n Roll Band" and "Ride My Seesaw" were real crowd pleasers. If you get a chance definitely go see John and The 10,000 Light Years Band!

    John Lodge!!!!!!!!

by MmeHH on 2/18/19The Cabot - Beverly

The venue was beautiful; the sound was balanced (we were right in front of the speakers but could hear every note with no distortion); the band was spectacular, as always, and John was as magnificent as ever! He was personal and funny and as handsome as ever. If he had played all night, it would have been too short...We loved singing along and dancing, and his heartfelt words about Ray touched my heart. John, solo and part of the Moody Blues, will make you smile!

What a fantastic evening! To start with...the Cabot Theater is truly a beautiful landmark that has been lovingly maintained! Breathtaking beauty! Great staff! The concert was 2 hours worth of great music spanning over 50 years! I got my daily exercise in by rocking to the music in interacting with the band and John! I drove from Hartford, CT. too see the show and it was worth all the traffic on 95/128 getting to Beverly!

    Rock On John Lodge!

by DRP on 2/18/19The Cabot - Beverly

John Lodge, singer and bass player from the Moody Blues, has put together a great band to tour with him. They preformed his greatist hits, "Ride My See Saw, Singer in a Rock N Roll Band, Slide Zone, Isn't Life Strange, along with many others. Also brings back some deep tracks and a special song in tribute to Ray Thomas. John's vocals and rock persona are going strong. I love this group of musicians he has put together. Alan Hewitt's keyboard, as always, are spot on. Duffy King adds a smoking rock dimension with his guitar. Jason Charboneau brings the orchestral backing with his cello. Billy Ashbaugh smashes the drums. Fun, interesting storytelling, amped up songs. A whole lot of positive energy. DON'T MISS THIS SHOW NEXT TIME AROUND!!

    John Lodge ROCKED IT!

    by cmick1 on 11/9/17The Queen - Wilmington

10,000 Light Years Band was great! All band members except guitarist Duffy King (amazing!), have played with the Moody Blues: John Lodge (Mr. Bass! and THE GUY), Gordy Marshall (drums), Alan Hewitt (keyboards) and Norda Mullen (flute, guitar). Intimate setting. Very nice venue. Amazing music! I'm hoping to see them all again!

    John Lodge at The Queen

    by 1conservative on 11/8/17The Queen - Wilmington

Absolutely tremendous!!! Saw the show at The Queen in DE and in Sellersville, PA (a MUCH better venue) and wish I could have seen more. John was just on fire, as was his new guitarist. John's vocals were strong and he was definitely enjoying himself. Songs from his new CD came off wonderfully, especially the title track (which I can't get out of my head!). The highlights, however, were the just stunning renditions of "Candle of Life", "Saved by the Music" and "Evening". I was just bursting with excitement and pride in John's work. I loved how the audience sang along. I'm giving the venue 5 stars ONLY because the show at The Queen was so good, but the venue itself is a bit shabby. Seats are way too close together. The venue at Sellersville is much more accommodating. Rock on, Johnny C. Lodge!

John Lodge - Oh what a night!

by Ardendame on 11/8/17The Queen - Wilmington

My husband and I saw John Lodge and his 10,000 Light Years Band on Nov. 5. We were right up front - I bought the tickets as soon as they went on sale. The show was fantastic. The acoustics in the Queen make the sound clarity amazing. John's lead guitar player is astonishing; indeed, the entire band rocked the house, and of course John was nothing short of incredible. It was a night to remember: John Lodge of the Moody Blues up close and personal. WE loved him! And the Queen!

    John Lodge at his Best

by JoeSpringfield on 11/8/17The Queen - Wilmington

He hit all the notes spanning his 50 year career with The Moody Blues. From Isn't Life Strange to I'm Just a Singer in a Rock n Roll Band he did not disappoint. His voice that of a distinguished British gentleman. The band did this soon to be Rock Hall of Fame member more than justice. The lead guitarist was on fire. A wonderful night in a beautiful venue!!!!
