  • Great Concert

by Kirky on 3/4/20SouthWest Florida Event Center - Bonita SpringsRating: 5 out of 5

I totally enjoyed this concert. the hall had no bad seats and the sound quality was wonderful. The Moody Blues is one of my favorite bands . John Lodge brought me back to it.

  • Event was good, but chairs were uncomfortable

by E. C. on 3/3/20SouthWest Florida Event Center - Bonita SpringsRating: 4 out of 5

The event itself was very nice, but the tables were too close together and you didn't have much room to move and eat. Also, the chairs were some of the most uncomfortable ones I have ever sat in.

Loved the venue. Very intimate. The sound was perfect. Table Service was great. I hope to visit Bonita Springs and the SWFL Event Center again

John Lodge gave an awesome performance in Bonita Springs!!! The SWFL Event Center hosted the show. The food and service were very good! Johnny Jensen was the opener, and we all liked him a lot...a very talented young man

  • Lodge Extraordinaire

by Ron on 3/1/20SouthWest Florida Event Center - Bonita SpringsRating: 5 out of 5

Great menu selection with timely service. Show was, as always outstanding. It’s great to be close to music legends who are still talented and entertaining!

  • John Lodge of the Moody Blues

by MGuy on 3/1/20SouthWest Florida Event Center - Bonita SpringsRating: 3 out of 5

Even though John Lodge and the other musicians in the band were OUTSTANDING, I was a little disappointed. I guess they played about 20 songs but they played only 3 of the Moody Blues big hits. I assumed incorrectly that when the name of the performer was listed along with the Moody Blues that they would have a few more of their big hits. If you like just John Lodge songs, then you would love this concert. I would have been completely satisfied if they had played maybe 8-10 Moody Blues songs.

John Lodge was fantastic, his band was great (Nights in White Satin and Gemini Dream were killer) and we had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend going to see them!!!!

  • He's still got it

John Lodge and all the musicians gave an outstanding performance.

  • John Lodge is one of the best!

    by Pippin on 11/16/19Potawatomi Hotel & Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Event Center - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

While the Potawatomi Casino's Northern Lights Theatre is small, there are no bad seats. John Lodge's voice is still young, and he had high energy. His re-imagining of the Moody Blues music was well done, and his own music is up to date, with good sound. The volume was a bit too loud, but made singing with John fun, without bothering my neighbor.

  • One of the best shows ever!

    by Bobby on 11/16/19Potawatomi Hotel & Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Event Center - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

John Lodge was incredible. The band was flawless. I have been to hundreds of live shows and this was one of the best ever. The venue is fantastic. They played for an hour. Took a short break. Then played for another whole hour. WOW! Loved it!

  • Still Feelin' The Blues

    by RJ on 11/16/19Potawatomi Hotel & Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Event Center - MilwaukeeRating: 4 out of 5

John Lodge is getting older, aren't we all, but the concert and band he put together was great. They played many of the Moodies best songs. Only negative is that the sound engineer for Northern Lights Theater must think the concert is in a larger venue or perhaps outside since the volume was too high. (This is a continual issue for concerts at Potawatomi.) Also, at times, vocals were drowned out by the instruments; which is too bad, since lyrics for the Moodies songs are great. Seems like everyone was having a good time feelin' the Moodies blues.

  • John Lodge concert at the Northern Lights Theater

    by C. R. on 11/16/19Potawatomi Hotel & Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Event Center - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

John and his band were really talented. The venue was was great. It was small enough so that every person could see the band perform!

  • John Lodge-Great concert

    by Brian R on 2/19/19The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

The John Lodge concert at the Cabot Theatre in Beverly, MA on 2/15/19 was an all around great show. Impeccable musicianship and John's cordial stage presence made for an enjoyable evening of Moody Blues classics and new material. The Cabot crowd loved them. "I'm Just A Singer In A Rock n Roll Band" and "Ride My Seesaw" were real crowd pleasers. If you get a chance definitely go see John and The 10,000 Light Years Band!

  • John Lodge!!!!!!!!

by MmeHH on 2/18/19The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was beautiful; the sound was balanced (we were right in front of the speakers but could hear every note with no distortion); the band was spectacular, as always, and John was as magnificent as ever! He was personal and funny and as handsome as ever. If he had played all night, it would have been too short...We loved singing along and dancing, and his heartfelt words about Ray touched my heart. John, solo and part of the Moody Blues, will make you smile!

  • Excellent Show

First class performance, superior musicians, John Lodge clearly the heart and soul of the Moody Blues, hasn’t lost a step....pleasure to see

  • John Lodge

by Tim on 2/18/19The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

What a fantastic evening! To start with...the Cabot Theater is truly a beautiful landmark that has been lovingly maintained! Breathtaking beauty! Great staff! The concert was 2 hours worth of great music spanning over 50 years! I got my daily exercise in by rocking to the music in interacting with the band and John! I drove from Hartford, CT. too see the show and it was worth all the traffic on 95/128 getting to Beverly!

  • Rock On John Lodge!

by Rpelley on 2/18/19The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

John Lodge, singer and bass player from the Moody Blues, has put together a great band to tour with him. They preformed his greatist hits, "Ride My See Saw, Singer in a Rock N Roll Band, Slide Zone, Isn't Life Strange, along with many others. Also brings back some deep tracks and a special song in tribute to Ray Thomas. John's vocals and rock persona are going strong. I love this group of musicians he has put together. Alan Hewitt's keyboard, as always, are spot on. Duffy King adds a smoking rock dimension with his guitar. Jason Charboneau brings the orchestral backing with his cello. Billy Ashbaugh smashes the drums. Fun, interesting storytelling, amped up songs. A whole lot of positive energy. DON'T MISS THIS SHOW NEXT TIME AROUND!!
