Great vocals and John still passionate with vision! All others awesome too! Great night !
John was awesome! Many deep cuts from Moody blues and solo work. His tribute to Ray Thomas was touching
10,000 Light Years Band was great! All band members except guitarist Duffy King (amazing!), have played with the Moody Blues: John Lodge (Mr. Bass! and THE GUY), Gordy Marshall (drums), Alan Hewitt (keyboards) and Norda Mullen (flute, guitar). Intimate setting. Very nice venue. Amazing music! I'm hoping to see them all again!
Absolutely tremendous!!! Saw the show at The Queen in DE and in Sellersville, PA (a MUCH better venue) and wish I could have seen more. John was just on fire, as was his new guitarist. John's vocals were strong and he was definitely enjoying himself. Songs from his new CD came off wonderfully, especially the title track (which I can't get out of my head!). The highlights, however, were the just stunning renditions of "Candle of Life", "Saved by the Music" and "Evening". I was just bursting with excitement and pride in John's work. I loved how the audience sang along. I'm giving the venue 5 stars ONLY because the show at The Queen was so good, but the venue itself is a bit shabby. Seats are way too close together. The venue at Sellersville is much more accommodating. Rock on, Johnny C. Lodge!
My husband and I saw John Lodge and his 10,000 Light Years Band on Nov. 5. We were right up front - I bought the tickets as soon as they went on sale. The show was fantastic. The acoustics in the Queen make the sound clarity amazing. John's lead guitar player is astonishing; indeed, the entire band rocked the house, and of course John was nothing short of incredible. It was a night to remember: John Lodge of the Moody Blues up close and personal. WE loved him! And the Queen!
He hit all the notes spanning his 50 year career with The Moody Blues. From Isn't Life Strange to I'm Just a Singer in a Rock n Roll Band he did not disappoint. His voice that of a distinguished British gentleman. The band did this soon to be Rock Hall of Fame member more than justice. The lead guitarist was on fire. A wonderful night in a beautiful venue!!!!
What a great venue, couldn’t possibly have better seats! The group was fabulous! Looking forward to another tour!
Priceless!!! A legend with a great band. More than expected. You won't be disappointed!
