    Joel McHale was Hilarious!

by LoCaMin on 3/6/17Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

Funny, irreverent and a self-professed "dick", Joel Mchale was crazy entertaining and a lot of fun. We enjoyed his hilarious stories and impromptu "psychic reading" of audience members, in the style of the Long Island Medium.

    Opening act was 10x better

by aMack2 on 3/6/17Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

Opening act was good. Joel McHale was all over the place and didn't finish his thoughts mostly. We walked out after 30 min of him rambling.

    Joel McHale was "meh"

by UncleBingo123 on 12/7/16MGM Grand Detroit Event Center - Detroit

His comedy is generally fairly clean. Nothing real memorable. He seems like a genuine person. The venue was THE WORST EVER -- probably contributed to my less than stellar review. DO NOT go to any show at the MGM Grand, Detroit, MI. They stuffed us like sardines into their general "hall" area with numbered paper sections and very small seats. BAD!

    Not what I expected

by Music09 on 12/6/16MGM Grand Detroit Event Center - Detroit

Not your usual comic. I was not impressed. He was not very funny. The seats were very uncomfortable. I would not attend an event there again.

    Worth the money!

by carsings on 9/28/16Detroit Opera House - Detroit

I have been to Louie CK, Kevin Hart, Iliza Schlesinger, Jim Jefferies. Joel tops all of them! Still the funniest show I have been to yet

    Great to see Joel!

    by Grace721 on 4/15/16The Tabernacle - Atlanta

I've been missing him since the Soup has left the air and he did not disappoint! Always on point with his pop culture, he just speaks my language. Hope he comes back to Atlanta soon because I'll be seeing him again!

    Sad I Spent the Money

by Raleighattendee on 4/12/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

I bought tickets to take an out-of-town visitor. The lead-in act was very gross and crude. That would be tolerable if he were funny, but he was not. MHale was a great disappointment. It was a rambling monologue without humor. I am tolerant of a lot, but after 20 minutes, we both looked at each other and said, "Let's go." Sorry I paid money for this evening.

    McHale was wonderful!

by Jasper270 on 4/11/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Joel McHale was extremely funny! The opening act was great too, but Joel was spectacular. He had very funny anecdotes regarding his time on TV, celebrities he has met, and his own family and friends. He was also extremely generous regarding the LGBT community, and it was great that a progressive voice spoke to the crowd. I hope that other comedians will come to DPAC and grace us with their comedy!

    Joel McHale was hilarious

by NachoAverageMan on 4/10/16The Tabernacle - Atlanta

I got the tickets as a Valentine's Day gift for my wife because she was so sad that The Soup (her favorite show) got canceled. We both loved this stand-up show. It was hilarious! He poked fun at the South a little too much, but he laughed it off anyway, so it's not like we were offended. His dad stories reminded my wife and me of myself too much. So the only part of the show I didn't like was the four-dollar Pepsi I had to buy for my wife.

    Hilarious

by CfGumby on 2/29/16Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

I knew he was funny from when I used to watch the Soup but I didn't know if that would hold up on stage. Well I was not disappointed. Joel McHale was one of the funniest comics I've ever seen. I would go see him again if I have the opportunity. His opening act was really funny too. Just a great night.

    Great show!

by ChiSoxMike on 2/29/16Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Big fan of Joel McHale's work on The Soup and Community. I was pleased to see that so much of his personality on those shows is in-line with his stand-up routine. Great show!

    Terrific evening!

by wallissimo on 2/29/16Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Thoroughly enjoyed McHale and his opener, JF, at the Genesee Theatre last Friday! JF had fresh original material that fit in well with the headline act. McHale hasn't taken his fim/tv success for granted as his stand up work is even better than the last time we saw him! Bravo!

    Good but uncomfortable

by Comedyfan624 on 2/11/16Sands Bethlehem Event Center - Bethlehem

The show was great definitely recommend seeing Jole McHale live. But maybe not at this venue the seating was uncomfortable and very crammed. There was no personal space and not much leg room. That is the only reason this review gets 3 stars.

A great evening with an original

by ComeBackSoon on 2/8/16Sands Bethlehem Event Center - Bethlehem

I expected Joe to be good, but he more than exceeded my wife & my expectations. The performance was original, well paced with some moments when my laughter interfered with my need to breathe. I feel a little guilty (I'm over it) that I got a small discount on the tickets. If he comes your way make sure to check him out.

    Not great

Sadly, this was very disappointing show - Joel was off his game and was just not that funny...

    McHale Not Worth It

by Nanticoke on 2/8/16Sands Bethlehem Event Center - Bethlehem

His warm up act was awful; way too crude and not in any funny way. McHale had his moments, but relied way too much on not very funny stories of his past tv series.
