  • Worst concert I've ever attended!

by QueenofPurple on 12/31/11Fair Park Music Hall - DallasRating: 1 out of 5

I bought tickets for the show as a Christmas stocking stuffer gift for my husband! Both of us were sick the night of the show, but we decided to make the best of it and not let the tickets go to waste...little did I know....my money had gone to waste when I purchased the tickets! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A CONCERT WITH PRE-RECORDED BACKGROUND MUSIC AND VOCALS, HORRIFIC SOUND SYSTEM, AND HIDEOUS LIGHTHING...WHAT A JOKE!!!! The concert was to begin at 8pm, it didn't get underway until after 9pm, with what I consder some pre-show mess! Dave Hollister came on at 9:45, then followed by Joe. Ironically, one of Joe's songs begin to play, and the cd skipped....and Joe said "this is what happens when you sing to cd's." The turning point for the night for me had come long before that moment, but that really did it for me.....I got up and left the auditorium and the show ended shortly afterwards. We left the venue in parking lot traffic, made it home about 20 miles away by 12;05 am. That translates to the fact that Dave Hollister and Joe performed a total of less than 90 minutes collectively! I don't think it's fair that artists should sell concert tickets for shows like this at the same prices they would with live music, back up dancers, etc. I'm thoroughly disgusted!

  • Joe was incredible.

Joe performance was excellent. Joe still has it going on. Joe voice and moves were smooth. I can't wait for his album to come out in September and to see him in concert again. Joe always brings his best.

  • Joe was everything I expected!!!

by Hazelme on 7/20/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

My first Joe performance!!! He sang all the old favorites from the beginning of his career for fans that have been with him from the beginning, as well as new songs from recent albums! He was able to interact with the audience on a more personable level due to the clubs setting. The experience was undeniably amazing for me. Joe was humble and kept it real, which in my eyes makes him an even greater artist!! I would definitely recommend this event to friends, family and co-workers!! Loved it, loved it!!

  • Did his thing!

The show was awesome! I forgot how many good songs he sang. Was worth every penny!

Great Event! Joe brought everything he had. Time has not changed the caliber of his performance. It's still top notch. Venue was perfect.

Joe was good. Very good stage presence. However, his background vocals were on a track and that was a little disappointing. The venue was small and initimate which was great. But people who have to stand should not pay the same price as those with seats!

  • Joe at BB Kings Blues Club and Grill wonderful!

by TrueJoeFan on 7/16/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

My friend and I was a little hesitant about attending a concert with General Admission. We do appreciate smaller intimate venues, so we decided to give it a shot! The night could not have been better. Joe's performance was excellent and to top it off we were lucky to come across a V.I.P. that made the night just what we were hoping to get!! Great Entertainment..good food..good drinks surrounded by Great company!

  • Joe Concert at B.B. King Blues Club

by Tishaj on 7/14/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was great. Joe was great and the musicians did a wonderful job. I am not crazy about the venue as it was really crowded. There were very few seats which made it necessary to get to the venue very early. That was kind of annoying.

  • JOE was on fire!

by Shellylmsw on 7/13/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The show was perfect, Joe was adorable, humble, personable and his voice was absolutely like velvet. It is so obvious this is what he was born to do and you can tell he just loves to sing and his fans just love listening to him. I can't wait to see and hear him live again. It was a pleasure being in the audience.

Joe is a super talented artist. He knows how to interact with the audience and is so entertaining. Also his band were so nice and are true musicians. I love BB Kings and am looking forward to going back real soon. I had a great time.

Joe was great it made me happy. He sounds like he does on tape he is very talented. The only problem was it was to many people at that event. Being short it was very hard to see him.

  • Joe - The Undisputed King Of Soul and R&B

by barca21 on 7/12/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

He kicked of in a high tempo, dancing and jumping around, he really was on top of his game right from the start and I felt right away that this show would be awsome and I it was. He really sings flawless live, must be one of the best R&B singers out there. He had also a great band, really good musicians. I have seen Joe once in Stockholm, Sweden but that was a really short show, more like a promotion show so I can´t compare these two. I´m really glad that I saw a real show. No one sings smooth sexy ballads as Joe and that´s why he´s bedroom songs is the reason of many pregnancies around the world :). I´ve been a fan ever since 1993 when I worked in a record store and started to listen to Joe and he still delivers 2011, that´s amazing. Looking forward to his new album that will be released in September.

  • Came all the way from Japan!!

by Kanako on 7/12/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I've been JOE's fan for many years but this was my very first time going to his live show. Thank God that I had a chance to see JOE in person all the way from Tokyo, Japan and simply loved his performance!!! I will definitely go back to B.B. King Blues Club and Grill again if I have a chance. Thank you, JOE, Japan loves you!!

  • Joe was great!! No air conditioning wasn't. !!!!

by Ligem on 7/12/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Once the doors open air should be flowing. It wasn't and when the air finally did come on it was already so hot you barely felt it. The performance was great. Joe is a great performer.

  • Love him
