    Bonamassa ROCKS!

by Commando1 on 5/3/10Lexington Opera House - Lexington

The most amazing concert I have ever seen! I lost count after the 9th guitar!! Joe rocked for 2 solid hours...while his band took 2 breaks. He is definitely one of the best living guitar players in the world!!!

    Awesome!

by lcJR1 on 5/3/10Lexington Opera House - Lexington

First time to see him live, absolutely amazing, he played 2+ hours non-stop. I personally like when the performers talk a little, you get to know their personality, some people don't like that, he really didn't talk except to note Lexington had a 'rowdy' crowd' and he thought he should come back. Opera House was beautiful, nice intimate setting. If you like to hear good guitar, or drums too, you must go. Will go to another show, for sure!

Joe is the king of blues rock!

by 4herdfans on 5/2/10Keith Albee Theater - Huntington

Do not miss this show. Best guitar you will hear. I'm a new fan and only have the latest cd, Black Rock. Joe only played 4 new songs. He has a great band. Joe can really play to the crowd. Best concert I have seen in the last few years. After the show, Joe signed cd's by his bus. Very down to earth guy. Don't miss him.

    Joe Bonamassa is the man!!

by mackattackohio on 5/2/10Keith Albee Theater - Huntington

Joe Bonamassa is the man. Blues will never die, as long as he is playing. He can rock with the best too. There is nothing he can't play or do with an electric or accoustic guitar. His songs are an adventure in various guitar picking licks. Don't even think that he can't play faster, or smoother. If you like guitar, he's the man to see!!! Joe played two hours with no breaks. His band left him twice while he went off on solos. One solo was electric and the other accoustic. Both were amazing.

    Smoking show

by wvsteelerfan on 5/2/10Keith Albee Theater - Huntington

Seeing Joe Bonamassa at the Keith Albee Theater was a life experience. Not since I saw SRV in 1987 have I witnessed such talent. He plays a variety of styles, some hard, fast, slow, mellow; but all crystal clear and clean. Best show I've seen in many years. I will not miss an opportunity to see this virtuoso again.

    Joe Bonamassa Huntington WV

by cbpape on 5/2/10Keith Albee Theater - Huntington

I have been listening to Joe Bonamassa music for years now. This is the first time I have seen him live. I do own his DVD at the Royal Albert Hall, but live is so much better. This is a show that rivals any one I have ever seen. Please bring him back again!

    THE Best!!

by budgieman on 5/2/10Keith Albee Theater - Huntington

First time Joe has ever played W.Virginia. The Keith Albee Theater is a beautiful venue for a medium size concert. I had 7th row center. As far as great (still living) guitarists go, I love Walter Trout, Phil Keaggy, Gary Moore , Jeff Beck and Eric Gale (all A-plus guitarists) , but Joe is a notch or two better in my opinion. The only way the show could have been better, is if Joe would've brought along the dancing babes with him !!

An Amazing Evening of Rock and Blues

by epauley on 5/2/10Keith Albee Theater - Huntington

The Keith Albee Theater a great venue for this concert because, regardless where you were seated, the view and acoustics were great. Joe Bonamassa preformed an array of his celebrated material for a solid two hours without breaks. His guitar playing, featuring several Gibson and Musicman guitars, was flawless and the band’s compositional dynamics were perfectly in sync. See this guy if you get an opportunity.

    Epic.

by Tecromancer on 5/2/10Lexington Opera House - Lexington

This concert was amazing. Bonamassa played for two hours straight. The first time I saw him, he opened for Peter Frampton in Nashville (seven or eight years ago), and he was good enough that I wanted to see him again. If he had played as well as he did at Lexington, the crowd would not have wanted Frampton to get on stage. This was one of the best concerts I've seen, even better than Alice Cooper or ZZ Top. Joe Bonamassa talent is amazing, putting in the same class of musician as Stevie Ray Vaughn. If I can see him in concert again, I will.

    Bonamassa, Rojas & Bowles

by etoncrow on 5/2/10Keith Albee Theater - Huntington

Had the extreme pleasure of seeing Joe Bonamassa at an old theater (built 1928) called the Keith-Albee last night. Joe was joined by Carmine Rojas on bass and Bogie Bowles on drums. (I missed the keyboardist's name). Thie is the same bass/drums combination that played on the Prince Albert Hall DVD recorded in Sept '09 and the show set list was very similar. Bonamassa played for two hours straight with less than a minute between songs for numerous instrument changes. I am 61 years old. I have seen many national acts in my life (Cream, the Who, Little Feat, Dixie Dregs, etc). IMHO these guys rank among the very best. If any of you have a chance to see Bonamassa on this tour please do yourself a favor and do not hesitate to purchase a ticket. You will not be sorry.

Huntington was my 4th Joe show. The light show was nice. The band is spectacular. Anything and everything that you can read about Joe Bonamassa's ability is true! If you get a chance, don't miss him and his band.
