Great comedian bombs

As one of today's premiere stand-up comedians, Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing in a Las Vegas coffee house. Jo's uniquely relatable comedy pulls inspiration from his colorful family that has reached all kinds of people and has translated into sold-out arenas around the world.
In 2022, Koy kicked off his Funny Is Funny World Tour by selling-out the Climate Pledge Arena (over 14,000 tickets) in his hometown of Seattle and ended the tour with a sold-out show at Tacoma Dome (over 19,000 tickets). Today, he continues breaking sales records at some of the most prestigious venues around the world including Mall of Asia Arena (Manila, PH), The Forum (Los Angeles), Coca-Cola Arena (Dubai), ICC Theatre (Sydney, AU), Radio City Music Hall (New York City), and FTX Arena (Miami) to name a few. This past November, Koy sold-out Madison Square Garden for the first time marking another milestone for the comedian. In 2017, Koy broke a record for the most tickets sold by a single artist at 23,000 tickets and 11 sold-out shows at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. In response, the mayor's office in Honolulu proclaimed November 24th as "Jo Koy Day."
Koy recently starred in the Universal Picture film Easter Sunday, set around a family gathering to celebrate Easter Sunday, the comedy is based on Jo Koy's life experiences and stand-up comedy. Easter Sunday is currently available on Blu-ray, DVD and on-demand.
His highly anticipated 4th Netflix stand-up special, Live From The Los Angeles Forum premiered globally on September 2022. The special is a follow up to his 2019 Netflix special, Comin' In Hot. Koy has already had four highly rated and successful stand-up specials on Comedy Central and Netflix. In June 2020, the comedian released his first variety special, Jo Koy: In His Elements on Netflix in which Koy brings the laughs and beats to Manila, spotlighting local culture in a one-of-a-kind show featuring Filipino-American comedians, DJs and B-boys.
In 2021, Koy released his first autobiography, Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo with Harper Collins Publishers to raved reviews. In this funny and moving memoir, Koy uncovers the stories behind his stand-up: the conflict, the drama and the laughter as he struggles to find his place in the entertainment industry, his home and around the world.
In 2019, Jo Koy reached #1 on the Billboard Charts for his stand-up comedy album, Live From Seattle, and in 2018, he was given the prestigious "Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year" award at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

Parking was a little expensive but rode with another couple so split it. But Jo Koy himself was AMAZING per usual. This is the second time seeing him and we have already said anytime he comes to Seattle area we are going no matter what.
First the positive: Loved our homeboy, Jo! I laughed so hard I lost my voice the next day. Kudos to all the climate pledge and parking staff that handled that huge crowd with grace, patience and a smile - you made finding seats and traffic bearable! Now the negative: Climate Pledge food basically is narrowed down nachos, dried fried chicken and cheap Wine/Champaign that was way overpriced - not cool! Maybe they should hire some of the sports areas chiefs and food. Parking at the Arena underground cost twice what our ticket for Jo cost and that was a pre-buy. When there is an event all the parking places jack up their prices 300%. Everyone paid different prices, and I will never attend an event there again unless I have a friend drop me off and pick me up. Light rail and metro are unsafe and crowded during events.
I’ve seen other shows of Jo Koy comedies on TV that were hilarious. This one I attended was a little crude, joking about “self satisfaction” And very sexually content. Is was vulgar at times and people through out the show were leaving. I was expecting more of picking on people in the audience or cultural differences, etc. But this kind of show is what must be selling, this is for sure one I won’t attend in the future anymore.
This has been the best comedy show I e been to. I love that he did t necessarily have a set to follow and was very present with the audience. We laughed so hard!
Seen him twice now and he always delivers. I laughed the whole time. Love Jo Koy.
Jo needs to come out with new material, same old stuff is not working for me. Also, it’s ok to make fun of someone in the audience, but don’t go on and on about it for long time. Too much !
At least 4 times I laughed so hard I cried, was out of breath, and physically hurt to the point I was pleading for Jo Koy to stop talking. Best routine I’ve ever seen!
This was my 2nd time seeing Jo Koy. This time surprised my husband who didn't get to go last time. There was a lot less reminiscing of growing up with a Filipino mom, but he was on point and hilarious. I love how he cracks himself up laughing and his family is so important. His son was there, and sister and it was just an amazing show. My husband and I fully enjoyed.
Jo was hilarious!! Laughed so hard! And who knew he could sing like that, wow! Only down fall was the price gouging at the venue, not Jo's fault though.
Show was great! New material, loved every minute. Waiting in line for an hour to get merchandise for my wife. She was super excited to get the throw back ( Seattle Super Sonics) hoodie. Got back to the hotel after the show and opened the package only to find a small hole in the sleeve! $90.00 and it has a hole in it. We’ve been try to through customer service to get it fixed.
What a show! So glad we were able to see him for the big homecoming in Seattle! Joey Guila and King Batch were such a treat! Highly recommend!
Jo Koy is so funny and relatable, he hit the mark for all ages. Love the closing get the crowds doing karaoke 😂
Jo Koy never disappoints. We go to all his shows when he comes to Seattle. Love how he involves the crowd in his jokes.
This guy had me rolling the ENTIRE SHOW! It was sooooooo good! Would love to see him again ❤️
Jo Koy put on an awesome performance. We hope to see him again soon.
This show was so funny.. my wife and I really enjoyed it.
He was awesome, only issue with venue that tickets are electronic but cell service is poor and couldn't download tickets.
Jo Koy is very engaging with the audience and that's a big win for me. The best part was when he took my phone to make a video at the end of the show, will definitely go see him again!
It was a great evening, Jokoy was simply amazing and his materials were on point. He Knew how to interact with his audience and he remained grounded and there’s wisdom and we look forward to his future show in Seattle.
