As one of today's premiere stand-up comedians, Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing in a Las Vegas coffee house. Jo's uniquely relatable comedy pulls inspiration from his colorful family that has reached all kinds of people and has translated into sold-out arenas around the world.
In 2022, Koy kicked off his Funny Is Funny World Tour by selling-out the Climate Pledge Arena (over 14,000 tickets) in his hometown of Seattle and ended the tour with a sold-out show at Tacoma Dome (over 19,000 tickets). Today, he continues breaking sales records at some of the most prestigious venues around the world including Mall of Asia Arena (Manila, PH), The Forum (Los Angeles), Coca-Cola Arena (Dubai), ICC Theatre (Sydney, AU), Radio City Music Hall (New York City), and FTX Arena (Miami) to name a few. This past November, Koy sold-out Madison Square Garden for the first time marking another milestone for the comedian. In 2017, Koy broke a record for the most tickets sold by a single artist at 23,000 tickets and 11 sold-out shows at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. In response, the mayor's office in Honolulu proclaimed November 24th as "Jo Koy Day."
Koy recently starred in the Universal Picture film Easter Sunday, set around a family gathering to celebrate Easter Sunday, the comedy is based on Jo Koy's life experiences and stand-up comedy. Easter Sunday is currently available on Blu-ray, DVD and on-demand.
His highly anticipated 4th Netflix stand-up special, Live From The Los Angeles Forum premiered globally on September 2022. The special is a follow up to his 2019 Netflix special, Comin' In Hot. Koy has already had four highly rated and successful stand-up specials on Comedy Central and Netflix. In June 2020, the comedian released his first variety special, Jo Koy: In His Elements on Netflix in which Koy brings the laughs and beats to Manila, spotlighting local culture in a one-of-a-kind show featuring Filipino-American comedians, DJs and B-boys.
In 2021, Koy released his first autobiography, Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo with Harper Collins Publishers to raved reviews. In this funny and moving memoir, Koy uncovers the stories behind his stand-up: the conflict, the drama and the laughter as he struggles to find his place in the entertainment industry, his home and around the world.
In 2019, Jo Koy reached #1 on the Billboard Charts for his stand-up comedy album, Live From Seattle, and in 2018, he was given the prestigious "Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year" award at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

The show was great even the openers were so funny and Jo Koy was awesome and stayed on for so long I really felt like he did a great job making people feel like they knew him and he was just really funny great show!!!!
We watched Jo Koy's show last Sunday, April 7 and oh my! Got a tummy ache laughing the whole time. Even the 2 guys who did the opening before Jo Koy were hilarious. We will surely come back and watch his show next time. Jo Koy is really a talented comedian. No dull moments!

The opening acts were great. Jo Koy was better than I could have imagined. The tickets were reasonably priced. All in all, excellent night. My stomach hurt from laughing so hard

We lost our 15-year-old daughter Brooke to a drunk driver in Anchorage, Alaska on 8/9/13. Ever since then we have not allowed ourselves to truly smile, yet alone laugh. It was amazing to attend this comedian who made no drunk driving jokes, poked fun at himself and talked about growing up in this day and age. We know our sweet Brooke was with us and laughing hysterically right along with us. For me it was wonderful to see her Dad smiling and laughing. I would recommend Jo Koy to anyone who wants to see a great comedian!!! We flew from Vegas to Canada to see him (and the VGK hockey game) and would gladly do it again!! We are now looking at tickets in Vegas! He was so good, we would see him again and again! Highly recommend!!
This was by far the best live comedy I have been to and I have seen a lot of great comedians live! Jo koy was fire! His show was beyond 5 stars and I highly recommend seeing him live! Great vibe, great opening acts and Jo joy did not disappoint! I would go again!!
Absolutely hilarious! I love Jo Koy, he’s the best. He puts on an excellent show, so talented. He had great opening acts, he had what seemed like an extra long set (yay us). He engaged the audience and kept everyone, including himself, laughing the whole time. Seriously, one of the very best comedians out there!!!
He was real! And by that, I mean, he was into his audience! He made us feel like he was one of us! I would definitely see him again at a later show. He made our night! And the biggest part of why we love him, he brought out Lil Josep to see the crowd. An awesome show!
It was difficult to understand all that he said. I was a bit disappointed at the amount of sexual content there was. That surprised me. I don't recall so much of that from his acts I've seen; granted not a lot. But they impressed me enough to want to spend a bit more for his show than I normally would.
Watched him from the beginning, I’ll always come to his show ANYTIME HE COMES BACK HOME !! Love him so much !! Love every part of the show from beginning to end. I also LOVE HOW he does his concert moments at the end. Can’t wait to see him come again!!
Great show and the two comedians were before Jo Koy were amazing and showed their true talent as they showing they could be headlining

Being from LA, it was easy to relate to his great humor at the Connecticut show!! It does feel odd for a while being around dead trees and food that doesn’t seem the same, but you get used to it after a while. I really wanted to try to touch base with him on that. I am sure that it would be a hysterical conversation!! Thank you Jo Koy for coming to Mohegan Sun in CT, and putting on a super show!!!!!
I love Jo Koy seeing him in person was amazing! His two openers were freaking hilarious all in all a great show!
Felt the material started off pretty funny. Kept talking to two people in the front row which got tired and kept laughing which felt like he was stalling for time. The ending with the music felt lazy. Not worth the money.
Great show! The only thing that wasn’t ideal was that the sound quality wasn’t great. It was hard to hear and seemed like the sound wasn’t as loud as it needed to be. We sat in Section 11 and basically looked straight down at the stage.
I’ve seen many comedians live but this was by far the best show I’ve seen! I look forward to him coming back to Seattle.
I laughed the whole night. I could relate to all his jokes from personal experience except giving birth. Who knew a C-section would be soooo appreciated by myself and my husband. The machine, so on point. So many real life topics that were totally relatable. I would definitely go to another show. Laughs all around and great to see him doing so well. Wishing him continued success.
