Country music just wouldn't be the same without Jo Dee Messina's spunky collection of hits and trademark red hair. Her catchy country tunes have dominated the charts since the '90s, and they're even more compelling live. Whether she's showcasing her vocal prowess on hits like "Head Carolina, Tails California" or sharing her spirited attitude with adoring concertgoers, Messina definitely knows how to get the crowd going, leading fans in fun sing-alongs and telling stories along the way. With the 2014 release of Me, her first new album in almost 10 years, Messina has fans fired up for her highly anticipated upcoming tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

A Massachusetts native, Jo Dee Messina started out singing in local clubs with her siblings, eventually attracting the attention of Curb Records and moving to Nashville. Her solo career kicked off in 1996 with her widely successful self-titled debut, which reached No. 5 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and produced two Top Ten singles. I'm Alright followed two years later and generated significant buzz with three No. 1 hits, ultimately going double platinum in the US. Since then, she's collaborated with Tim McGraw, toured with legends George Strait and The Judds, and sold over five million albums. With the desire to truly connect her fans to her music, Messina launched a Kickstarter campaign to support her 2014 album, reaching her goal in just 30 days due to her extremely dedicated fan base. Jo Dee Messina will treat audiences to her classics as well as new material from her fifth studio album Me on a string of upcoming shows.

    The venue was very nice. The show was also very good but a bit short. Maybe an hour. She has a great voice and well written songs. However, the best part was that Jo Dee took the time to come out and sign her autograph and allow pictures with fans. Being on the road and still taking the time to do this for fans is amazing and very much appreciated. On stage she spoke of the story behind some of her songs. That is information that brings the fan closer to her and her music. Nice touch, Jo Dee! She energy on the stage was terrific from beginning to end. I look forward to seeing her on stage again!

    `As a lukewarm fan of country music, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent level of professionalism demonstrated by Ms. Messina and the always wonderful Macon Pops. A thoroughly enjoyable experience for our entire table.

    A powerhouse singer with a string of hits a mile long. I have seen her many times over the years. So on a ten point scale: Venue 7 (Stairs involed for concessions and Rest Room), Voice 8 because I have heard her do better, set list 5 (she covered a lot of song and did not play her biggest songs, and acted like most people had no idea who she was) I realize that when playing with the Macon Pops that she could not take requests, But Jo Dee not singing Heads Carolina, Tails Califonia is like Straight not playing The Cowboy Rides Away. Dang Jo-- what's up?

    I loved the venue, Indian Ranch to see a show. I was in the 10th row and could see so well, and Jo Dee Messina is a wonderful performer and story teller. LOVED the show! So easy to get the tickets on line and get to the show site, too.

    Jo Dee Messina put on the best show ever!!! Not that they aren't all great, because they are. Indian Ranch was the perfect setting. We had 3rd row seats right in front of the state. I got some great pictures!

    Seeing her come back to MA and perform in front of a hometown crowd was priceless. She sounded incredible and her new songs are great! Indian Ranch on a beautiful sunny afternoon - you just can't beat it. Sitting by a lake and listening to country music in the woods.

    She was awesome, it was a great show! Jo Dee was nice enough to even put her coffee down and take a photo with a few of us fans before boarding her bus! She was interactive with the audience as well, and did a wonderful job of entertaining the crowd! Hope to see her again next year!

    This was an awesome, intimate show in a relaxed outdoor venue. Everyone had a great time, the sound was right on, the stage was a good size and the limited seating made you feel like you were in your own back yard with a few friends. As predicted Jo Dee's voice was solid and she always does a terrific assortment with professional flare. She draws the crowd in and we're soooo glad shes our home town girl!

    As usual JoDee gave it her all!! From the opening to closing she was rocking the house. Lots of previews of her new stuff alternated with her classic hits (she was even taking requests!!) If she's coming to yur town don't miss her, it is money well spent. With all the artists touring this summer it's hard to allocate those concert dollars but this was a no brainer. SHE'S FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Overall the show was great Two complaints though 1). When you say general admission make it general admission for all and not have VIP section or at least say that VIP is on,y available to select fee and then general admission. 2) I was asked to stop taking pictures or they would ask me to leave. Really Bucky was posing.....so why no pictures when he was posing? When he posed those ladies were not asked to leave. That was so wrong! You can't have it one way for some and another way for others-that's discrimination As for the talent....I think for the price it was EXCELLENT.

    Jo Dee Messina was very nice to the audience, but talked more than she sang. Bucky was good. The seating wasn't too impressive. I would not go back to Ho-Chunk for a concert. You couldn't see over the people in front of you. They need some stadium type seating. Overall it was just ok.
