JO DEE MESSINA IN CONCERT:

Country music just wouldn't be the same without Jo Dee Messina's spunky collection of hits and trademark red hair. Her catchy country tunes have dominated the charts since the '90s, and they're even more compelling live. Whether she's showcasing her vocal prowess on hits like "Head Carolina, Tails California" or sharing her spirited attitude with adoring concertgoers, Messina definitely knows how to get the crowd going, leading fans in fun sing-alongs and telling stories along the way. With the 2014 release of Me, her first new album in almost 10 years, Messina has fans fired up for her highly anticipated upcoming tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

A Massachusetts native, Jo Dee Messina started out singing in local clubs with her siblings, eventually attracting the attention of Curb Records and moving to Nashville. Her solo career kicked off in 1996 with her widely successful self-titled debut, which reached No. 5 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and produced two Top Ten singles. I'm Alright followed two years later and generated significant buzz with three No. 1 hits, ultimately going double platinum in the US. Since then, she's collaborated with Tim McGraw, toured with legends George Strait and The Judds, and sold over five million albums. With the desire to truly connect her fans to her music, Messina launched a Kickstarter campaign to support her 2014 album, reaching her goal in just 30 days due to her extremely dedicated fan base. Jo Dee Messina will treat audiences to her classics as well as new material from her fifth studio album Me on a string of upcoming shows.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

Jo Dee has always been one of my favorite female country artists. The concert was absolutely GREAT, the lady is still doin her thing and am so glad she is back out touring and bringing us new stuff! Hard Rock Live was fantastic, everyone was so nice and helpful! • Was truly amazing

by L. cline on 11/11/25Hard Rock Live Bristol - BristolRating: 5 out of 5

By far one of the best shows I have been to in a long time. Jo Dee was so beautiful and talented ,her smile and grace truly lit up the stage. Every member of the band was beyond exceptional. I loved that she wanted the crowd involved. We danced and sang the entire show from start to finish, as a variety of songs were playa and each one was amazing. I absolutely will be seeing her again if given the opportunity . 100000000 out of 10. Wish it could have went on for hours. Thank you Jo Dee for making such inspiring music and sharing your faith with the world you are truly one on a kind!!!

Jo Dee puts on an amazing show. I have been following her since she was an up and coming artist in 1998. She still has an amazing stage presence and connects with her audience. I have already booked two shows next year.

  • Great event!

by Bookie on 8/7/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

Jo Dee gave an outstanding performance. We especially enjoyed the acoustics and volume. We could understand every word she sang! We were right behind the white chairs in general admission-great location!

  • Jo Dee Messina - Concert too short!

by Becky on 8/6/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 3 out of 5

Jo Dee did not have an opening band. She started at 7pm and ended and 8:40pm. Disappointed and felt like $110 was a lot to pay for such a short concert. She did a good job though!

  • Great show

by Bob on 8/5/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

Jo Dee sounded great. Fun interaction with the crowd. Her sing along medley was refreshing. Highly recommended.

  • Best concert ever!

by Theresa from Grand Jct., CO on 8/4/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

Jo Dee put on an awesome show from the first song to the last. I didn't want it to end. I stood the whole time singing & dancing to every song with my painful feet & she was worth every minute of it and more! I loved her in the '90s and she sounds just as amazing as then. She made her concert so fun! She looks great and loved how she entertained. I took several videos and I'm watching them over and over. Better show than any I've seen on YouTube that's for sure. Such a beautiful woman. I love how she put lots of cute moves to her songs while singing her songs. I can't wait to hear her faith-based music that she has coming up next. Such a beautiful story of how she built a relationship with God. I know there were lots of people in the audience that needed to hear that and hopefully it changed many lives, as I'm sure it did. So thank you for that. Such a very strong woman, a fighter and survivor. God Bless You Jo Dee.. but don't overdo it with touring so much, we want you around to hear more of your music girl!

  • Awesome show!

by John B on 8/4/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 4 out of 5

Jo Dee never disappoints! Her show was terrific and great energy and audience involvement. We've seen her a few times and she just continues to outshine herself even more! So pleased she took the efforts to visit Grand Junction, CO for her show! We love it when major artists like her take the time to sop in here in rural Colorado! Thank You! John

  • Oh What a Night

by Alcun on 8/4/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

Jodee puts on a wonderful show. Her stage presence is remarkable as she presents herself to the entire audience. This definitely was a show that I would return to,

  • No warm up & very short show

by No nickname on 8/4/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 3 out of 5

There was no warm up band so most people weren’t even there until she was almost finished. Show was over at 8:30. It wasn’t even dark yet. Not worth the time or money. Very disappointing. I have never been to a concert where there was no warm up.

  • JoDee was amazing!!

by T.S. on 8/4/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

JoDee was absolutely amazing!! One downfall....would have appreciated advance warning that there was no opening act. I spent a lot of the show in lines because was expecting more time with an opening act. ☹️

  • I've never been to a show in CO that was 90mins!

by BigDaddy@@1 on 8/4/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 2 out of 5

Why set up a light stage if you play from 7-8:30pm... The sun doesn't even go down till 9ish 54$ =90mins. 🤯😵‍💫😵

  • Disappointed

by Junctiongirl on 8/4/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 2 out of 5

This was the shortest concert I've ever been to. 1 hour and 30 minutes total. She had the audience sing most of the time as well. Very disappointing.

  • SHORT and Sweet

by JC on 8/4/25Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park - Grand JunctionRating: 3 out of 5

Started AT 7pm sharp with Jo Dee. Total time of concert was 1 hr 15 minutes then we were hustled out by event staff. No other bands. It was beautiful evening and people that had beer had to guzzle and we had to leave. Disappointing in that regard. Jo Dee was great. Venue staff pushy for us to leave by 8:30. At least they could have featured a local band or something.
