JLS, a British boy band, broke out in 2008 when they were runners-up on The X Factor. Following their appearance on the show, JLS had two back-to-back No. 1 hits in the UK and won British Breakthrough Act and Best British Single (“Beat Again,” their first No. 1 hit) at the 2010 BRIT Awards. Members Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, Marvin Humes and JB Gill released their self-titled debut in 2009 — which went four-times platinum in the UK — followed by three other studio albums, In 2013, JLS set out on a farewell arena tour and released Goodbye: The Greatest Hits. The group reunited in 2021 on the Beat Again Reunion Tour and released their first album in eight years (2.0) featuring the Ed Sheeran-penned single “Eternal Love.” JLS went from second place on The X Factor to selling millions of albums in the UK and are preparing to once again pack venues across the UK and Ireland on 2023’s The Hits Tour.
