Full disclosures were not offered prior to purchasing tickets. Promoter pushed campsites as part of the event, only after tickets purchased was information given regarding availability of camping, VIP ticket holders were given first opportunity to purchase sites, then days later were any available sites offered. I had to eat 2 tickets for friday's event @total of 200$. it was a convoluted process to get information and trying to obtain camp sites was not a fair process.
The Amp is a great place to see a concert. JJ Grey and his band played some great music and they were very inclusive of the audience!
The event was wonderful! We needed this experience! All the bands were great but I have to give it up the most to Ben Harper and JJ Grey and Mofro. Always been a Zep fan so when Ben Harper did When the Levee Breaks I was amazed at his rendition. JJ Grey and Mofro was exceptional on stage! When do you ever get to see a bass solo? As a fellow bass player, thank you Todd.
What a great weekend!! It was either warm and rainy or freezing and windy, but none of that mattered when JJ was on stage. He is an amazing performer and everyone had a great time! Best JJ show I've seen yet! He just gets better and better. All of the performers did such a great job! They endured the cold weather and put on great shows. Dumpstafunk and The Greyboy Allstars were definite highlights.
It was a great weekend overall. Loved the concept of securing the whole campground for the event. The beach stage needed heaters for the musicians. It was way to cold to have them up there in the wind on that stage. Looking forward to next year!
Not to be missed. Travelled from MN to see. Band was incredibly tight.
Friday was wet day out but stayed dry during the show and Saturday was cold but the energy of JJ Gary kept us warm. Thank you sir for a wonderful show.
Great show. First time hearing them! Only knew about JJ Grey from jukebox at a biker bar! LOL I will be sure to get tickets next time they are in town!!
This was so much fun!!!! All the music was incredible and so much fun!! Thanks for putting on a fabulous festival!
Great night at an awesome venue. St Augustine ampitheater is a gem.
What a fantastic gathering of talent - JJ Grey and Mofro performed TWO amazing shows, Larkin Poe killed it with fantastic energy and talent, Dunpstaphunk was so much funky fun, Ben Harper was beautiful and perfect… it was ALL great! Fantastic collaboration between the St. Augustine Amphitheater and Anastasia State Park made this a really cool weekend of camping, hiking, biking, musical fun, despite the crazy weather!
JJGrey performed fantastic as usual. His band never fails to deliver awesome music. They played some new music and covered a couple of other band songs. JJ was pretty laid back at this event which the audience LOVED!!!
Awesome music and great venue. Even with the wind, rain, and cold the crowd was terrific. Well done all the way around!
JJ Grey and Mofro would never disappoint! So much talent Even better they had some amazing local talent as back up singers. Fabulous show! Was mad at myself for not getting tickets for bother shows!
We drove from Harkers Island, NC and were not disappointed. Great venue. The only disappointment was lack of food. There was one food truck. The music was so good and sound was on point. I'll go back.
JJ Gray just puts on such a good show! The Cabot is such a nice place to see a show!,
Fabulous event at the Cabot. New seats are great! Plenty of room. Sound was fabulous. JJ Grey was, as usual, amazing. Crowd was amazing.
Another great show by JJ Grey. Different experience with only JJ on stage performing his songs in a stripped down way and giving the audience some insight on his experiences and inspiration for his music. Extremely talented guy and very down to earth.
Stumbled onto JJ Grey last summer as an opening act for Jonny Lang. While watching I was trying to figure out who he was, and came up with kind of an Al Green, Otis Redding, James Brown, Van Morrison Southern Soul thing. His musical arrangements, phrasing, and lyrics are brilliant. This show was sans his band and just all electric JJ with a chair and a drink. Played most all his favorites, and what got to hear what they were about. One of the most enthusiastic audiences I have ever seen. Don't miss a chance to see him live. I won't. I have joined the cult.
