  • JJ GREY ANF THE MOFRO'S

    by MARK P on 2/6/19Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Band from Pennsylvania was awesome but never got the name. They band joined JJ and band and did a few jams together which was great! Jj and band played their hearts out and 2 encores... i've seen the 3 times and will see them again and again. Saw them first time in "09 at Winthrop Blues Festival. wish they could get them back. The Neptune is great venue. 1st time for me. Band is fantatstic and all original songs.

  • Best show ever!

by Rockymtn on 2/5/19Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

the Commonheart came out and warmed everybody up! They were so good that I thought Grey/Mofro might be a let down... However when they took the stage, their professionalism and soulful tracks blew us away! Best show I have ever been too!

  • My new favorite!

    by Golfer 42 on 2/5/19Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

JJ Greys songs are from the heart and tell stories we all live. Great songs, incredible band and they gave us all a wonderful show at The Neptune! We do love where we live just like JJ!

  • JJ rocked it!

    by K. K. on 2/5/19Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

JJ rocked it! So much fun, and his smile brings such light to the crowd. The band was tight.

  • Fun and uplifting

by John on 2/5/19Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I've got to be honest, I wasn't in the best mood going into this concert. But the performances of both the opening act (The Commonheart) and JJ Grey & Mofro, there was no way to keep the smile off my face. Funk, blues, and positive messages...perfection.

  • Spectacular

    by C. H. on 2/5/19Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Such an amazing band and artist! The opener The Commonheart was awesome as well. Bought their CD.

  • Best live show! Had a blast

by JazzJody on 1/29/19Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 5 out of 5

You can't get more talent, passion and Vibe on the stage than you can with JJ Grey, MoFro and the terrific opening band, The CommonHeart. We loved every second and so did the entire audience. At one point, the whole theater was grooving, moving, clapping and smiling together - Now that is great Vibe. Plus Uptown Theater is the best place to see a show. All great seats, easy parking and lots of restaurants only a block or two away! Live music truly is better!

  • EPIC

    by S.FORD on 1/29/19Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to eight or nine of their concerts and this is one of the best! Traveling to Bend Oregon to see them again in a few days.

  • Soooo good!

by Jeanna on 1/29/19Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 5 out of 5

JJ's voice and the band sounded sooooo good. The sound quality was epic. The venue was just as epic.

  • Fantastic

Total over delivered from start to finish. Event first act was great.

  • JJ was "...on fire!"

by DocBuckeye on 1/28/19Crystal Bay Club Casino Crown Room - Crystal BayRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show, nice intimate setting, JJ was right there, band was awesome, especially Dennis Marion and Craig Barnette - but really the band seemed to dig playing with one another and the sound and audience benefitted greatly! Fantastic set list - if you have the chance to see him, do not miss it!

  • JJ never disappoints!

by Shotgun on 1/27/19Crystal Bay Club Casino Crown Room - Crystal BayRating: 5 out of 5

JJ Grey & Mofro never disappoint and this venue was so intimate that everyone had a great view with plenty of dancing room. The only issue with this venue, you really couldn't be too far back as the sound seemed to fade--especially at the bar--but other than that, no complaints! JJ rocks!!

  • Love ANY show by this band!!

by Rick on 1/27/19Crystal Bay Club Casino Crown Room - Crystal BayRating: 5 out of 5

JJ Grey and Mofro are a tight jamming band .... they all enjoy being up on stage and appreciate their fans. Watching them live in many states over the past 8 years is a treat. No matter which concert my wife and I have been too, they always find connection with an audience making it fun to plan mini vacations to see the band in a new venue. They play the fan favorites and always put in a “surprise” Sum Thang special for devoted fans to take away from their live show. See them “live” and you’ll always be entertained by the magic.

  • J J Grey and Mofro

by Cindy on 1/22/19House of Blues Dallas presented by Cricket Wireless - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

What a great performer who understands It's all about his fans. Loved his story telling which was different from seeing him in 2015. Missed the full band with saxophones for the entire concert but then it would have been just music and we would miss the stories so five stars anyway. Completely enjoyed the evening.

  • Florida sunshine on a winter day!

by kcj4Tx on 1/20/19House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - HoustonRating: 4 out of 5

Opening band Common Heart (sp?) was OK, but went to see JJ at the recommendation of a friend. He was right. Suit and tie looked refreshingly unconvential. On-stage band set-up, too. Good material, but location-specific. All about Florida. It was still fun, though. These guys rock! Bought a CD and will see about getting some more. Will certainly see this show again!

  • JJ Grey excellent concert

by Maddens on 1/20/19House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

The House of Blues venue was great for JJ Grey & Mofro . Excellent sound quality and not too big a room so concert felt intimate (though we were at the front so may be a biased view). JJ Grey was excellent as always. it was a great night

  • Fantastic artist at a terrible venue

    by R. S. on 1/2/19Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 3 out of 5

This is really a review of the venue. JJ Grey & Mofro is a great band and I highly recommend seeing them. That said, after attending probably 30 shoes there over the last 8 years, I've come to the firm and unfortunate conclusion that Revolution Live is a really poor venue. The shows are oversold to the point where it's impossible to see the stage, it's extremely difficult to navigate the venue, and people are frankly on edge. The venue is too narrow so viewing angles are tight to begin with, and the floor is really hard to get down to. The bathroom is difficult to reach and unless you're upstairs (where you can't easily see), it's terrible to get a drink as well. The beer selection in the main venue is bad to boot. If there was only an alternative.

  • Best Ever

    by J. F. on 12/31/18Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I’ll rate it as the best concert I’ve eve exsperenced. The venue, Revolution Live in Ft Lauderdale, and the fact that JJ Grey and his band were having a blast themselves made it the best concert I’ve been too. Hats off to all involved including Lindsi for a great night.

  • AMAZING!!!

by Jillian V on 12/31/18Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

The show was absolutely incredible and I was thrilled to see them together as I've only seen JJ by himself. The only negative was there were too many people and I feel the location was probably over capacity.

  • JJ Grey Plays The West Coast 2018

by RRosevilleCA on 9/11/18Teragram Ballroom - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

Great concert by JJ Grey and Mofro (This was my wife and I’s 13th concert with this band). I’ve seen shorter sets at festivals but when it’s a Mofro headlining event this band never fails to step up the energy and feed off their audience base. The Teragram interior is nice ... just the downtown location is a bit sketchy but we encountered no problems.
