JJ Grey & Mofro Tickets

You know it's a Good Night when North Mississippi Allstars, Jonny Lang , and JJ Grey are in town at the same venue ! The audience and the bands were having a Blast ! JJ Grey said it was their first time at Penns Peak and not their last !

This whole venue was excellent, you definitely need to get j j grey & Mofro back,, along with Jonny Lang,,!

The North Mississippi were great. Jonny Lang not so much. JJ Grey rocked the stage. It was amazing.

Fantastic venue. All three acts were superb. Jonny Lang was absolutely tremendous.

What a great night of music. Good weather outside. We arrived right at 6:30. Briefly chatted with a few other couples int he parking lot. One told us that North Mississippi Allstars would open and they would open on time. We hustled in and sure enough, NMO was jamming away. The sad thing was they were done by 7:00 PM. What scheduler on Earth has NMO open a show and has them only play 30 minutes??!?!??! Crowd was mostly couples, about our age, beteen 40 and 60. Everyone was friendly. Johnny Lang started about 25 minutes later and he played a full set of high energy, high emotion music. This was our first time seeing him and we would go see him again in a heart beat. JJ Grey and Mofro opened about 30 minutes after Johnn Lang. JJ Grey opened with a rousing harmonica solo and launched into a full show of love, lyrics, emotion, sweet singing, great playing, and just all around good music. Mofro did an excellent job of backing JJ Grey, especially the lead guitarist. They are all were good. The show ended early, around 11:30? We were glad we went (90 minute drive from King of Prussia) and we would happily go see any of these bands again soon. We already have tickets to see North Mississippi Allstars at the World Cafe in Philadelphia in November.

This was my first time seeing JJ live. I now have a whole new respect for him. What a show! Unbelievable vocals. Very talented as he performed with multiple instruments. He exceeded my expectations.

JJ Grey was absolutely incredible with soul felt vocals and brilliance on the guitar. His music has a diversity that applies a wide range of satisfaction. The North Mississippi Allstars were a pleasant surprise as well. The venue was great. Where else can you step outside for a breather and enjoy a panoramic view of the Lehigh Valley. The onsite restaurant, although not having a deep menu, has the usual favorites and is very reasonably price. We will definitely continue following JJ and will be back to the venue. Exceptional on both fronts.

JJ Grey really didn't get going until about 11:20. His show was great, but his audience is not... youthful. I'd either start earlier or kill off one of the opening acts, both of which were forgettable.

Samantha Fish is one of our new favorites. She rocked the house! JJ Grey is always top notch as well. The two of them made for a fantastic show!!

Fantastic Show!! JJ Grey and Mofro put on a great show!

We are Cali people and had the opportunity to see JJ Grey & Mofro in concert for the first time several years ago. We have traveled to Denver, CO and now to New Orleans, LA to see him perform. New Orleans venue was amazing. Up close and personal all the way!!!

JJ Grey was even better than I’ve heard he was, truly amazing performance by him and his whole band. Samantha Fish was a fantastic surprise, she was OUTSTANDING!!! Tore that guitar up, and loved her voice. Even got a CD that she personally signed!!!

JJ leaves it all on the stage every time and the show at the New Orleans Orpheum was no exception. Gotta love a Brighter Days encore!!! Love this guy!

Enjoyed samantha fish she was amazing, I had never heard of her before, and JJ put on a great show as always with his high energy perfomance.

Awesome show! Great openers and JJ Grey had so much energy on stage. My 23 y/o son even made the comment that he wishes he has that much energy when he turns gray headed. Voice like no other. Well worth the 8 hour drive! And New Orleans is a beautiful city.

Samantha Fish, North Mississippi Allstars and JJ Grey did a great job giving us music at its best in NOLA

Even though it did not start till 9 and JJ did not start till 11:30, it was one of the best concerts I have been too. All 3 bands were great. Samantha Fish is a powerhouse on vocals and shreds on guitar. N MS Allstars was a perfect fit for the night. The washboard section of the show was cool as hell. And Then. JJ. He is a true performer. One thing I noticed, he never stops smiling and you can tell he genuinely loves what he’s does. He played all the hits but missed Fireflies, I wanted that one bad. His fans come from all over and are as passionate about his music as he is. I felt inspired by his songs, his message, and the atmosphere as a whole. I Will see him again live somewhere sometime.

Samantha Fish opened the show and killed it! Tough act to follow for the North Mississippi All-Stars. JJGrey was awesome as always. Our first trip to the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans and it is spectacular and a great venue.

Don’t ever miss a JJ great concert. Seriously, one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. Total electric atmosphere between he and the the audience. If you’ve never seen him you really must go, if you have seen them, I’m sure you’re gonna go again. 😎
