Thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Jimmy and his band rocked the house!
Great show. Jimmie Vaughan with great horn section. Walker Theater was an excellent small-venue.
I’ll never be able to see Stevie Ray Vaughan, but being able to see his brother Jimmie Vaughan was amazing! His guitar playing was top notch! When he made his guitar cluck like a chicken, I was in such awe that I forgot to record it LOL. Anyway, ur doing urself an injustice if u don’t go see Jimmie Vaughan and his band. WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN!!!
First time in this venue (The Walker Theatre). A great sound, easy ticket access through wallet app, and most importantly Jimmie and his Tilt-a-Whirl band were sensational! Through the years he’s never disappointed us and always keeps it fresh and rock in’. We also appreciate his devotion to his fans, stays to sign merchandise, or in my case a prior book purchase. Humble and genuine in every way.
Getting to see one of my lifelong guitar heros’ live was an experience like no other. He was fantastic! The icing on the cake was when Jimmy came out and met with us after the show. He is very personable and it created a moment that I will always treasure.
One of the best concerts I have seen. Jimmie and his band know how to put on a show. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
Great band, all of them! Been a Jimmie Vaughan fan since the 1980's and living in Texas. Besides his killer, sparse and effective guitar picking it's great to hear Jimmie use his voice as an instrument. Solid more than two hour show! And, hats off to him for taking time post show to sign autographs and talk with us! Go see this bad ass musician!
This concert was terrific. Jimmie and his band played straight through with no opening and no intermissions. It was full of wonderful music, old and new, and the musicians are phenomenal.
Great band, stellar performance too. I have been a fan of Jimmie Vaughan and his precise, sparse but powerful, guitar picking since the 1980's! It's that perfect lagnaippe that Jimmie uses his voice as an instrument too! And, he hung around after his show for autographs and conversation too. Much appreciation, and come back to Chattanooga anytime Jimmie!!!
The venue is very intimate, less than 500 seats. Great accoustics! But it is in a remote location. Jimmie was on top of his game, and his horn section was on fire! Nothing like a couple of saxophones to jazz it up. I'd see them all again.
Second time I've been here this month. Prefer the table seating area. Very cozy vibe. Jimmie Vaughan and band kept us entertained with their awesome music. Loved it!
Jimmie brought electricity to the Riviera with his renditions of Texas Blues music straight from Austin. From the beginning of the concert, the music got into the very soul of the crowd with several folks dancing to their favorites. Bring this man back again SOON!
I've been wanting to see Jimmie Vaughan for years. His authentic Texas style has held up for decades. The Riviera was a great place to see his show.
Start with one of the best guitarists, add 7 other great musicians, throw in some classic tunes and you have quite an evening in store. Jimmie doesn't play a whole lot of notes but he doesn't need to. He's the king of Less is More when it comes to his guitar style but he can say more with one note than most players can with a long solo.
First time in the Riviera Theater as a music venue. Growing up downtown in the 1950s my 2 brothers and I went to this one and 4 other downtown movie theaters... Today there are none. Jimmie Vaughan and his large band were very good ...but the sound was TOO LOUD! Unfortunately, that painful discomfort is common enough now with most venues, that I now carry professional earplugs! Pity those unprotected and will warn my friends.
Great seating in a fantastic venue with awesome acoustics! Jimmie Vaughan was awesome. Got to meet him in the lobby afterwards signing albums.
Jimmie Vaughan did not disappoint. He put on one of the best performances I have seen in a long time. He is definitely one of the best showmen in the business.
Venue great. Parking great. Location in city great. Crowd great and really excited. Jimmy Vaughan and The Tilt-A-Whirl Band super. High energy Texas Blues at it’s best. So glad I didn’t miss this show.
I splurged and got a good seat, it was a smaller venue so it ended up being super close. Opening act was great. Jimmie did a wonderful job, beautiful music. He stayed for an encore and even signed autographs. Jimmie, his manager and staff were very kind.
Jimmie Vaughan was fantastic! Great band. Loved Fletcher Hall. Very intimate setting. Staff was very friendly.
