  • Best Show in a Long Time

by Richard on 9/26/22The Riviera Theater - CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

Jimmie Vaughan did not disappoint. He put on one of the best performances I have seen in a long time. He is definitely one of the best showmen in the business.

  • Rewarding

Venue great. Parking great. Location in city great. Crowd great and really excited. Jimmy Vaughan and The Tilt-A-Whirl Band super. High energy Texas Blues at it’s best. So glad I didn’t miss this show.

  • Bucket list item

by Brendy on 9/25/22Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

I splurged and got a good seat, it was a smaller venue so it ended up being super close. Opening act was great. Jimmie did a wonderful job, beautiful music. He stayed for an encore and even signed autographs. Jimmie, his manager and staff were very kind.

A wonderful and intimate venue. The opening artist ‘Steady Rollin’ Bob Margolin’ was a true blues experience. Jimmie Vaughan and the Tilt-a-Whirl band were amazing. Jimmie is a guitar master, and after the show we met him in the lobby and he was friendly and gracious and posed for a few pictures with my lady friend. All in all, a great evening.

  • What a fun show!

by geo on 9/22/22Rating: 5 out of 5

At this point in my life I've got a very small list of people I haven't seen but want to. Jimmie was on the list. Went to see him and his band last night. I was expecting a decent time and some Texas blues, but instead I got a great time and some Texas blues and some fantastic old school rock and roll tunes. Felt like he turned the Auditorium into a honkeytonk at times. Jimmie did not miss a note - he really can play that guitar still. The band was fantastic too!! I took the wife and she absolutely loved it. If I were you I'd go see Jimmie before he gets tired of the road. Hell, I might drive up to Raleigh tonight and do it again.

  • WOW

by Swilly on 7/29/22Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center (HMAC) Capitol Room - HarrisburgRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show, his riffs were spot on, just a tad to loud.

  • 1 of the Vaughan brothers

Jimmie and his band are awesome Wished they could play all night. Would most definitely go see them again. Smallish theater but nice.

  • another great performance

by Knox Music Fan on 7/18/22Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Been a fan of Jimmie Vaughan since I first saw him playing at the Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival where only the best of the best played. He has a terrific band and they provided great individual performances as well as support for the star of the show, Jimmie. Can't wait to see him again in Chicago on Sept. 12 when he will again be playing with Eric Clapton!!

Great performance, perfect sound and nice lighting

  • Just bad

by Trac on 7/17/22Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 1 out of 5

Ive never wanted to leave a concert early till this one. Kinda felt like a local band at the county fair. Sound mixing was bad too but that could have been the theater. My expectations where higher. Maybe its time for him to retire.

  • Everything we thought it would be and more!!!

    by L. R. on 7/17/22Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Wow, what a concert and show by Jimmy and his band. They were all excellent and I can't wait to see them again. We were in such a good mood driving home and the next day every time we played a video clip of the concert!! Excellent!

  • A Check Off My Bucket List

by MetalGirl on 7/17/22Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I haven't been this excited about seeing someone in a long time. Parking was easy, price was good, seats were excellent, & it was a little more intimate than most of the ones at the Bijou. Jimmie was amazing! No ego, just music! I noticed there were no pedals, no wireless toys, no earpiece. He was just playing like he would in his own living room - that was the real joy. If I could have changed anything, I wish the lights would have been up a tad more; the stage was a little dark. Loved every minute & I hope he comes back soon!

  • Jimmie Vaughn @ Antoine's

by IanK on 7/10/22Antone's Nightclub - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

Great seeing Jimmie again - love his music - the venue not so much. They say to get there early to Antoine's to get seats and then you just stand outside! Ridiculous. Then inside there are less than 20 seats and the venue saved 15 for the band! Again ridiculous. Do not tell us (old farts) to get there early for seating and not have any.

  • Jimmie Vaughan…Amazing!!!

by Barton Jacques on 7/6/22Antone's Nightclub - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

Jimmie Vaughan and the Tilt a Whirl Band was amazing!!! Awesome show at Antone’s Home of the Blues in Austin! Birch had an amazing time and we stayed after the show and met some of the band, Ishy…Jimmie’s guitar tech, and the man himself Jimmie Vaughan. Jimmie signed Birch’s shirt and stood and talked with Birch after the show at 1:30 am…what a super cool guy!!!

  • Antone's Jimmy

by IanK on 7/5/22Antone's Nightclub - AustinRating: 4 out of 5

So Jimmy was fun to watch again; Antone's states get there early for seating but you wait outside, then there's less than 15seats for patrons. Not great 😫

  • Amazing

I’ve seen Jimmie over a dozen times and every time he’s better than the last. One of the last great blues guitarist.
