Jim Jefferies on Tour

Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently named one of the top 5 touring comedians in the world.

After receiving rave reviews for his 2018 international stand up tour, The Unusual Punishment Tour, Jim is back on the road with an entirely new routine for his The Night Talker Tour, with his international leg kicking off this November 2019. Additionally, Jim was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer. Jim is working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills and Universal TV.

Most recently signed a first look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. Additionally, Jim's eponymous Comedy Central series, THE JIM JEFFERIES SHOW debuted its third season on March 19, 2019 at 10:30pm ET / PT. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series features Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. In addition to the series, Jim also continues to head up the weekly podcast series, ‘The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast', co-hosted by Forrest Shaw. The podcast, from Comedy Central's Podcast Network includes interviews and discussions with a variety of guests discussing current news and politics, as well as providing a more in-depth focus on the topics and opinions featured on the television series - with less filters.

In 2018, Jim starred in his third Netflix comedy special JIM JEFFERIES: THIS IS ME NOW. Performing at the Eventim Apollo in London, he unapologetically kept it real opening up the challenges of being a single father, as well as the weirdest gig he ever played. In 2017, he released his fifth major stand up special in seven years, FREEDUMB. The special was Jim's second to air on Netflix, and followed the huge success of the first, JIM JEFFERIES: BARE, in which he delivered a now iconic routine on guns and gun control in the United States.

In addition, Jim created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series LEGIT, which ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following. He has also appeared in the films KILLING HASSELHOFF and PUNCHING HENRY.

Jim currently lives in Los Angeles.

  • Lots of laughs

by Bj on 9/10/24Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

A great time with lots of laughs. Jimmy Carr’s dry humour was very funny. He welcomed hecklers but was on top of all topics with no hesitation. Jim Jefferies did not disappoint either

  • Jim Jefferies was worth the price of admission

by JD on 9/10/24Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Jim Jefferies was hilarious. Jimmy Carr tells cheap one liners like an amateur comic.

  • Funny

Went out for my husband birthday didn’t know what to expect as not been to a show in a while laughed my touchy off . Liked that there was a story behind his jokes that seemed relatable so you really could see that happen which made it much more funnier had a great time will definitely see Jim Jeffries again .

  • Jim Jefferies and Jimmy Carr at Scotia arena for comedy

by MS on 9/10/24Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

This venue it's not really appropriate for comedy. And it is definitely not appropriate for audience work, which Jimmy Carr tried to do multiple times. Jim Jefferies and the opening act Amos someone we're very good, Jimmy Carr was good. A little more vulgar over all than I would generally like but that's what happens in these kinds of shows.

  • Excellent -a laugh we needed

    by Pmiller2020 on 9/10/24Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

All three comedians were fantastic! Great to have a night of laughs. Nice that cameras were not allowed so all could enjoy.

  • It was a great night of laughter.

by ST on 9/9/24The Arena at TD Place - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

All 3 comedians did a great job. Everyone as far as I could see where laughing. I would definitely recommend this show, I'd love to see them again.

  • Great time. Floor seating could have been much better

by Beanrick on 9/9/24Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 5 out of 5

The show with Jim and Jimmy was awesome. The opener was good as well. Only issue I had with the night is the floor seating. You paying for quality seating. However, we were sandwiched in. The seats were not angled towards the stage. So besides be squeezed between the people next to me. I had to have my head turned towards the stage. If the seating comfort would have been better it would have been pretty much perfect. So if I had to make a recommendation. Give a little more room for seating on the floor, and also have the seats actually facing the stage.

  • Amazing

I've been following Jim Jefferies and Jimmy Carr for several years now. I've seen most of their specials and am incredibly happy to see them live for the first time. Please, return to Ottawa, Canada's capital, again! you two were so much fun.

  • Awesome show - parking was a challenge

by Kel on 9/9/24The Arena at TD Place - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

We had so much fun watching Jim Jefferies and Jimmy Carr. We parked at Carleton U and walked 25 mins. We are able bodied and enjoyed our stroll but parking was sold out at the TD Place which I think could pose a problem for some folks.

  • Great show

Phenomenal comedy show. They had the entire place laughing uncontrollably!

  • Amazing! Hilarious from start to finish

by MSD on 9/9/24Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 5 out of 5

Was worried that the cancel Culture might impact their sets and cause them to be too cautious! Luckily, they all brought it. I was peeing myself laughing! So impressed they both did full sets. Opening act was amazing too! Finally fulfilled my dream of seeing Jim Jeffries live. Jimmy Carr was an awesome bonus. Would recommend this show to anyone who has a sense of humour and understands what comedy is all about

  • Great night of comedy, but not without it's issues

    by Vince D on 9/9/24Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 4 out of 5

Really enjoyed seeing two great comics on the same ticket. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd say Jim Jefferies' act was better than Jimmy Carr's (but that's obviously subjective). Length of each set was great, not too short, considering the cost of admission. On the downside, I was disappointed that the show didn't start on time (30 mins late starting). Likewise I would have appreciated a quick intermission between acts. I think many people expected there to be a break and left their seats while Jimmy Carr (the second act) was already getting started. I also didn't like the seating format - I prefer theatre-style seating as opposed to a central stage with seating all around. I don't appreciate having to crane my neck to watch the screens while the comic is facing another part of the crowd, when I paid good money for a closer viewing location.

  • Awesome show!!

Loved every minute! Amazing job!! He had the audience in stitching!

  • Great show

by Stevie on 9/8/24Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 4 out of 5

This was a great show with some amazing acts. Only thing I could say is that they felt a bit censored. It was non stop laughs but not crazy laughs like you get from a netflix special

  • Amazing show

by Tarsandman on 9/8/24Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 5 out of 5

It's was an amazing show, just what you'd expect from the two best comics in the business. The opening act definitely has a great future as a comidian. The only thing that would of made the night even better is if the crowd would of interacted more with Jimmy as he's a pro at witty replies.

  • Hilarious

by Cece on 9/8/24Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely loved the show. Jim Jefferies podcasts got me through some rough times, so to actually have the chance to see him in person was absolutely amazing. Lots of laughs from all 3 comedians!

  • Jefferies killed it!

by Guitarman on 9/8/24Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 4 out of 5

Jim Jefferies hit a home run at the Scotiabank Center. Unfortunately after his hour long set, the venue sold out of beer. Then Jimmy Carr, without an intermission hit the stage and fell flat. The only thing that saved his set was a cameo at the end with Jefferies. Redt of his set was bad…

  • Awesome!!!

Jim Jefferies was spectacular!!! Laughed so hard I cried. Stomach was sore next day!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • Very disappointed

by Chris on 9/8/24Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 1 out of 5

I was very disappointed with the show. The volume of the comedians wasn’t loud enough as well as the screens were up way too high and there was a lot of obstructions happening so you couldn’t see the screen very well. Very disappointed.
