Jim Jefferies on Tour
Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently named one of the top 5 touring comedians in the world.
After receiving rave reviews for his 2018 international stand up tour, The Unusual Punishment Tour, Jim is back on the road with an entirely new routine for his The Night Talker Tour, with his international leg kicking off this November 2019. Additionally, Jim was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer. Jim is working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills and Universal TV.
Most recently signed a first look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. Additionally, Jim's eponymous Comedy Central series, THE JIM JEFFERIES SHOW debuted its third season on March 19, 2019 at 10:30pm ET / PT. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series features Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. In addition to the series, Jim also continues to head up the weekly podcast series, ‘The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast', co-hosted by Forrest Shaw. The podcast, from Comedy Central's Podcast Network includes interviews and discussions with a variety of guests discussing current news and politics, as well as providing a more in-depth focus on the topics and opinions featured on the television series - with less filters.
In 2018, Jim starred in his third Netflix comedy special JIM JEFFERIES: THIS IS ME NOW. Performing at the Eventim Apollo in London, he unapologetically kept it real opening up the challenges of being a single father, as well as the weirdest gig he ever played. In 2017, he released his fifth major stand up special in seven years, FREEDUMB. The special was Jim's second to air on Netflix, and followed the huge success of the first, JIM JEFFERIES: BARE, in which he delivered a now iconic routine on guns and gun control in the United States.
In addition, Jim created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series LEGIT, which ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following. He has also appeared in the films KILLING HASSELHOFF and PUNCHING HENRY.
Jim currently lives in Los Angeles.
Naturally funny guy. Doesn’t need to try hard to push his jokes, the way he speaks and delivers his jokes is too smooth.
Jim was at his best, always delivers. Very insightful and funny.
Had an absolutely fantastic time a Jim Jefferies. He was hilarious. Review him before you go. He's not for everyone. But if you want to laugh and don't take life to seriously then go see him.
From the opening shows to the main act, I laughed the entire time. Jim was hilarious. My face hurt a laugh so much! I definitely would go see him again and his stand-up crew anytime! 5 stars all the way!!
Jim Jeffries is a genius. His comic timing, intonations and acting skills make him an elite comedian. The Aussie accent adds extra spice to his beautiful mixture of aggrievement disbelief and surprise at the contradictions and illogic of people and societal fads. He has a high social IQ for recognizing stupidity and absurdity and zero inhibition in exposing and savaging it. His bit on wanting to have a husband is an excellent riff on the double standards applied to the perception of identical behaviours by different genders or identities. Jeffries elicits laughs every 15 seconds. Never a dull moment. HIs genius is apparent in this show as in all his prior shows. What is even more impressive however is how prolific and consistent he is, pulling out enough new fresh material for a show every year. In my opinion, this man is the best stand-up comedian on the planet. It was a privilege to see him in person.
The show didn’t even start until 10:38pm and we left the show early at midnight because the seats were so small, uncomfortable, itchy, and the venue was so hot. Not to mention we waited in line to get in for over an hour and by the time they checked everyone’s ticket we didn’t get to get drinks or snacks because they were already calling 5 minutes to show time. And we weren’t even at the end of the line. Jim was funny as usual and didn’t disappoint in that respect.
Endless laughs. Everyone had a phenomenal time - would absolutely love to see him again!
Jefferies put on a great show. The facility and entrance was a disaster. Waited over an hour to get into facility, lineup around the corner and extremely slow to get in. Many missed the opener and part of main comedian. Will not attend this venue again.
Jim jefferies did it again. My face was hurting from laughing do much. Every time he comes to Canada I see him and he never disappoints.
The show was good, parking was not so good. Big line up before the 1st show ended. There should be at least a 1/2 hour in between shows. Just sayin
He is the best of the best. Can’t get much better.
I’ma huge Jim Jefferies fan but I brought 2 friends who never heard of him and we all agreed the show was SO GOOD. He was hilarious, as were his 2 openers! Totally worth the cost and long drive to get there!!
We had a ton of fun and haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Both the two openers and Jim were just amazing and the atmosphere was great. Can't recommend the show enough!
Great show all the way around First two comedians were dodo very funny
Jim never ceases to amaze, there was not a dry eye around me. Sincerely was crying from laughter from start to end.
Great opening acts as well, sometimes are duds but not with Jim's Tour, those guys were hilarious too! Laughed my A.. off for two hours straight!!!!
Jim was great. He was longer than any comedian we’ve ever seen but he made it worth it! He told lots of funny stories about his dad which we’ve not heard before. He does jokes that he purposely doesn’t include on taped programs so he doesn’t get ‘canceled!’
I laughed throughout the entire show. He was hilarious
I recommend seeing him live. He is hilarious! The venue (silver legacy) could have used some improvements. But he was personable, interacted with the audience and kept it fun!
No surprise, Jim delivered a hilarious performance. One of the best live comedians!! If you have a chance to see him, do it!!!!
