Jim Jefferies on Tour
Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently named one of the top 5 touring comedians in the world.
After receiving rave reviews for his 2018 international stand up tour, The Unusual Punishment Tour, Jim is back on the road with an entirely new routine for his The Night Talker Tour, with his international leg kicking off this November 2019. Additionally, Jim was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer. Jim is working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills and Universal TV.
Most recently signed a first look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. Additionally, Jim's eponymous Comedy Central series, THE JIM JEFFERIES SHOW debuted its third season on March 19, 2019 at 10:30pm ET / PT. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series features Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. In addition to the series, Jim also continues to head up the weekly podcast series, ‘The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast', co-hosted by Forrest Shaw. The podcast, from Comedy Central's Podcast Network includes interviews and discussions with a variety of guests discussing current news and politics, as well as providing a more in-depth focus on the topics and opinions featured on the television series - with less filters.
In 2018, Jim starred in his third Netflix comedy special JIM JEFFERIES: THIS IS ME NOW. Performing at the Eventim Apollo in London, he unapologetically kept it real opening up the challenges of being a single father, as well as the weirdest gig he ever played. In 2017, he released his fifth major stand up special in seven years, FREEDUMB. The special was Jim's second to air on Netflix, and followed the huge success of the first, JIM JEFFERIES: BARE, in which he delivered a now iconic routine on guns and gun control in the United States.
In addition, Jim created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series LEGIT, which ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following. He has also appeared in the films KILLING HASSELHOFF and PUNCHING HENRY.
Jim currently lives in Los Angeles.

I would caution anyone who might be offended by explicit sexual content in jokes, but if you don't mind that kind of thing, you will not stop laughing thru the entire show. Would see him again and again whenever he comes back to NY Metro area.

He intentionally manipulates the audience with ease to a point of anticipation; preparing us for the moment he reveals the climactic punchline. He fills me with belly laughs. How much better could it be than laughing at this moment in time? Jeffries is a Master of his Craft. Oh, I adore the Aussie accent, too.

Hard to get to, heavy on the naughty

Couldn't access the parking I pre-paid for because of the road closures. The Chicago Theater should've provided better details as far as road closures and what to expect to get to the show. This was my second time seeing Jim Jeffries, and while I really enjoyed it and had a great time, this set DEFINITELY leaned into the raunchy side of his humor and wasn't for everyone. I saw two couples get up and leave during the show, which wasn't surprising based on the content. Lots of men in the audience... and the humor definitely leaned into what they seemed to want as there was lots of laughter. So I guess Jim "Gave them what they wanted!" I did think he was funnier previously when there was more of a balance between topics. But when you follow comedians, you realize that you'll prefer some sets to others, which is totally expected. Still recommend the show, but the experience of getting there was a nightmare.

The show was almost 2 hours, but it felt like we were only there 30 minutes. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!
Funny but freezing

I was asked to install two apps. Two! Very much a hassle. A code is a code is a code. Let me print the damn code and leave my phone at home. The ticketmaster e ticket sucks.
Jim never disappoints

He’s the one go-to comedian I introduce all my friends to whom I know won’t be offended by anything. Jim is fabulous because he cracks a joke about all issues, even the sensitive ones. He brings humor to his dark world and he’s much appreciated for that.
