Jim Jefferies on Tour
Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently named one of the top 5 touring comedians in the world.
After receiving rave reviews for his 2018 international stand up tour, The Unusual Punishment Tour, Jim is back on the road with an entirely new routine for his The Night Talker Tour, with his international leg kicking off this November 2019. Additionally, Jim was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer. Jim is working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills and Universal TV.
Most recently signed a first look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. Additionally, Jim's eponymous Comedy Central series, THE JIM JEFFERIES SHOW debuted its third season on March 19, 2019 at 10:30pm ET / PT. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series features Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. In addition to the series, Jim also continues to head up the weekly podcast series, ‘The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast', co-hosted by Forrest Shaw. The podcast, from Comedy Central's Podcast Network includes interviews and discussions with a variety of guests discussing current news and politics, as well as providing a more in-depth focus on the topics and opinions featured on the television series - with less filters.
In 2018, Jim starred in his third Netflix comedy special JIM JEFFERIES: THIS IS ME NOW. Performing at the Eventim Apollo in London, he unapologetically kept it real opening up the challenges of being a single father, as well as the weirdest gig he ever played. In 2017, he released his fifth major stand up special in seven years, FREEDUMB. The special was Jim's second to air on Netflix, and followed the huge success of the first, JIM JEFFERIES: BARE, in which he delivered a now iconic routine on guns and gun control in the United States.
In addition, Jim created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series LEGIT, which ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following. He has also appeared in the films KILLING HASSELHOFF and PUNCHING HENRY.
Jim currently lives in Los Angeles.
Loved the show one of my favorite comedians jim Jeffries
Jim Jefferies show was very good. Both he and his warm up comic Amos Gill were fun to listen to. Their material was well written, timely in todays climate (both political and general) and presented in a way that was fun for most everyone and anyone in the crowd. There were a couple instances where Jim may have crossed over the "tasteful line"for my preference, but he at least recognized and acknowledged those instances as part of the act. I would recommend him to anyone that enjoys a good dirty joke.
He was funny from the first minute he stepped on the stage!! Loved it!!
Jim Jefferies was so down to earth. He interacted with the audience hilariously. I really enjoyed his show and I would definitely go see him again! His material was all new and relevant. Definite must see!
This is the 2nd time seeing Jim Jeffries and he has delivered every time! I can't wait for him to come back.
All new material. Also impressed how long his set was. If you get a chance to see Jim jefferies GO!
Jim was funny right from the get go. He was on stage for a good 2 hours. Well worth the money. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to laugh.
The last concert that we saw Jim Jefferies perform in our city was at a smaller venue 1800 or so ppl , and I think that intimacy contributed to enjoyment of that show. This was an arena format 3000+and I think it’s a difficult thing for a comedian too have that intimacy and contact with the audience. It seemed a little bit of repetition in some of his material. I would definitely go see him again and would pay for more if it was in smaller venue
Jim Jeffries was good but it was difficult to enjoy fully due to the venue. The Hard Rock needs to do some work. The room was HOT! Extremely hot, I had beads of sweat on my forehead and I wasn’t the only one. Several people around me were fanning themselves. It was also sometimes difficult to hear the comedians so I probably only laughed half as much as I could have. I would not attend anything at the hard rock again.
Helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Much appreciated- Thank you!
This was our second time seeing Jim Jefferies in person and he was sensational! One laugh after the other. All new material just as funny as the first time we saw him in NYC. People of all ages love him. What a wonderful evening ww had! THANK YOU, JIM JEFFERIES!
Both Jim Jefferies and his Lead In Comedian, Forrest Shaw were fabulous. I am definitely interested in seeing Forrest Shaw in his own show. As always, Jim Jefferies was not only hilarious but acerbically insightful as well. I am always impressed with how he “coats” his incisive cultural critiques with a veneer of the opposite perspective. He is definitely on my Top Ten List of “Celebrities I’d Love To Meet In Person.” Thanks for the great show you “Son of a Carpenter!”
Up until now, I thought the Dave C. show I saw live last year was the best I’d ever witnessed. Then Jeff strolled into Orlando and gave a masterpiece of a show. Nearly 2 hrs of non-stop, gut cramping comedy. Seriously, I was having to lean back and try to stretch out to alleviate the contractions. If you’re an uptight prude, stay home. Otherwise, you gotta see Jim before you die.
The King of setting traps for both sides of the fence to fall into and come out with hilarity. Witty, and deafeningly clever with his retorts. My favorite of all time Bucket list to be able to see him live! 10/10
Jim Jeffries is my favorite comedian. I'm so glad I got to see him. Hilarious!!!!
Jim Jeffries did not disappoint. His performance is hysterical and his delivery right on point. He handles crowd heckling like a pro, and tries to make everyone feel welcome even if they don’t agree with his stance. 90 minute plus set and seemed like it was 30. Highly recommend!
Enjoyed Jim Jeffries even more than expected, such quick wit and hysterical perspective! Was disappointed in the sound quality at Mahaffey. We had aisle seats on far side of Row 8, not far from stage, and still had to strain to hear clearly for both opening act and Jeffries. But the show itself was great!
Jim is one of the great comics of our time. Not to be missed!
Love how this man thinks. Ah the absurdity of life.
I recently saw both Jon Stewart in Raleigh and Ricky Gervais in NYC, both were fabulous! But Jim Jefferies outshines them at standup! He was so funny, and his irreverence was hilarious too. In reminding us that he is a comedian and is just joking I feel like he can get away with it. I can’t wait to see him again!
