Jim Jefferies on Tour
Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently named one of the top 5 touring comedians in the world.
After receiving rave reviews for his 2018 international stand up tour, The Unusual Punishment Tour, Jim is back on the road with an entirely new routine for his The Night Talker Tour, with his international leg kicking off this November 2019. Additionally, Jim was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer. Jim is working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills and Universal TV.
Most recently signed a first look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. Additionally, Jim's eponymous Comedy Central series, THE JIM JEFFERIES SHOW debuted its third season on March 19, 2019 at 10:30pm ET / PT. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series features Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. In addition to the series, Jim also continues to head up the weekly podcast series, ‘The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast', co-hosted by Forrest Shaw. The podcast, from Comedy Central's Podcast Network includes interviews and discussions with a variety of guests discussing current news and politics, as well as providing a more in-depth focus on the topics and opinions featured on the television series - with less filters.
In 2018, Jim starred in his third Netflix comedy special JIM JEFFERIES: THIS IS ME NOW. Performing at the Eventim Apollo in London, he unapologetically kept it real opening up the challenges of being a single father, as well as the weirdest gig he ever played. In 2017, he released his fifth major stand up special in seven years, FREEDUMB. The special was Jim's second to air on Netflix, and followed the huge success of the first, JIM JEFFERIES: BARE, in which he delivered a now iconic routine on guns and gun control in the United States.
In addition, Jim created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series LEGIT, which ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following. He has also appeared in the films KILLING HASSELHOFF and PUNCHING HENRY.
Jim currently lives in Los Angeles.
A great show from start to finish. Amos woke the crowd up and brought great energy. Very edgy comedy and put a twist and a laugh on some great topics. Jim picked up where Amos left off and continued. I learned that Jim welcomes hecklers and gives it right back to them. I look forward to seeing them when they return!
This was the best stand up show that I have ever been to! Jim Jefferies performed a long set (over 2 hours) and masterfully worked the crowd. He performed material from his upcoming Netflix special and a bunch of new material that he has been working on. Great Performance!!!
I’ve been watching Jim Jeffries for years. I was so impressed by his professionalism. There have been other comedians who have come to Rochester thinking it was a small nothing venue and treated it as such. He gave 100% and even treated us to more time on stage to trial new material. Great show in a wonderful space. Would recommend to all who love a great comedy act.
Another top-notch performance from Jim Jeffries. This one may be the best. I've seen him 5 times. This show lasted 2hrs 15 min, normally he goes on for about 1 hr 40 min. As usual, all the laughing muscles were heavily exercised, but he ended the show by answering questions from the audience, which was beyond cool. One of the best stand-uppers, if not THE BEST! Top notch and highly recommended.
Jim Jefferies was hilarious, unforgettable — a total riot. The venue? Also unforgettable… but more in a "how is this legal?"kind of way. The chairs looked like they were stolen from a middle school cafeteria. Maybe fine for a wiry 10-year-old gymnast, but for full-sized Poughkeepsians? Not so much. The show wasn’t even sold out, so why not spring for grown-up seating? Maybe that’s the secret sauce behind the empty seats. Just a theory — one the organizers might want to sit with. If they can.
What a great night I laughed so hard. It was almost like I needed a break. It started to hurt. Jim Jefferies was great. My only issue was my seat was broken at the venue, so it was very uncomfortable to sit in.
Jim Jeffries put on a great show!! Consistently funny and relevant! He even had a Pope joke just a few days after the conclave. The whole audience enjoyed it. I would highly recommend seeing him if you can.
The venue's stage lighting wasn't great as the two comic's faces were in shadow. The sound was good. The show itself was thoroughly entertaining and very funny
Jim is the 7th notable comedian I have seen in the last few years, and going into this, not one I was expecting to be the best. He was by far the best. From start to finish, hilarious, and a level up from previous material of his. I would watch it again immediately
OMG, we could not stop laughing during his Vegas performance! Such a funny guy, highly recommend you go see his show!

Jim Jefferies was a master, he was very generous with his time. The show lasted well over two hours. The man is my favorite comedian ever. Of course the venue, Shea's Performing Arts Theater is a treasure. I considered driving or Rochester to see him again.
A witty take on todays societal norms. Like an R rated Seinfeld.
Even with the crazy lady who we couldn't hear the show was hilarious. Dude seriously needs to seek help for those hemroids though! Glad I finally got to see him live cant wait for the. Netflix special.

Jim Jeffries is hilarious! He is also kind hearted and very generous with his time. My husband and I enjoyed the evening very much. We would definitely go to one of his shows again! Shea’s did an amazing job as well. The theater is a beautiful venue, and the staff very accommodating.
Although on a Sunday, and seemingly more intimate night...Jim had the same energy as a Friday night ....it was fantastic and started my work week off great.

This show was rescheduled due to a conflict he had with an opportunity that came up. He was great and we enjoyed it and to make up for that he did more show than the usual. A lot of extra time beyond the regular show. Laid back for a good bit after too and trying some new stuff to see what the audience thought. Nice
First time seeing Jim Jeffries in person and it was an amazing time. The opening act was also so good. Can’t wait to see him again in the future.
