Jim Gaffigan is a seven-time Grammy nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, three-time Emmy winning top touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist. A top ten comedian according to Forbes' 2019 comedy list and top ten earning comedian in Pollstar's 2022 list, Jim released his 9th stand-up special, Comedy Monster, on Netflix December 2021 which was nominated for a Grammy. He was also recently awarded for being the first comedian to reach one billion streams on Pandora. Gaffigan will release his 10th comedy special, Dark Pale, this year, an unprecedented achievement for the comedian/actor.
Gaffigan can currently be seen as the lead in the well-reviewed Sci-Fi dramedy, Linoleum, and stars as Mr. Smee in Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy, opposite Jude Law and Yara Shahidi. He will also co-star Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, James Marsden, and Hugh Grant in Netflix's Unfrosted, and co-stars in Susie Searches which premiered at TIFF last year and will hit theaters July 28th. Gaffigan joined the cast of HBO Max's Full Circle, a limited series from Steve Soderbergh and Ed Solomon which follows an investigation into a botched kidnapping connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day NY. Full Circle will premiere July 13th.
Gaffigan was also recently heard in Disney/Pixar's highly anticipated animated film, Luca, opposite Jacob Tremblay and Maya Rudolph.
On the silver screen, his many credits include Three Kings, Super Troopers 1 & 2, and Chappaquiddick. 2019 was Gaffigan's biggest year to date with an astonishing eight films releasing, three which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival including Troop Zero with Viola Davis and Alison Janney, Them That Follow and Light From Light - with many festival goers and press calling Gaffigan the "King of Sundance."
Gaffigan also had two films recently in which he debuted as the lead. The comedic film Being Frank, and American Dreamer, a dark thriller which was the grand finale of 2019 for Jim and features him as a ride share driver who moonlights as a private driver for a drug dealer.
Gaffigan can also currently be seen opposite Ethan Hawke in IFC Films Tesla, as well as opposite Josh Hartnett in Saban Films' Most Wanted.
In addition to two seasons of the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical The Jim Gaffigan Show, which he wrote and produced with his wife Jeannie, and his widely popular stand-up comedy specials, Gaffigan has guest starred on many television comedies and dramas, ranging from Portlandia and Bob's Burgers to the HBO cult hits Flight of the Concords to dramatic roles in Law & Order.
Gaffigan regularly does humorous commentaries on CBS Sunday Morning for which he has won 3 Emmys. In 2018 Jim served as master of ceremony at The Al Smith Memorial dinner. In 2015, Gaffigan had the great honor of performing for Pope Francis and over 1 million festival attendees at the Festival of Families in Philadelphia.

I wished I had known that the material was not new i could have recited half of his routine. He is funny though and i love him. I just wish I had not spent that much money n a re-run
He was hilarious ... a must see. Several skits were from his tv specials, but definitely worth the money spent. Way to go, Jim!
The show was a blast. Some of the material was new, old and just plain funny. Hard Rock Live is a great venue and a great place to see any show.
If you've never watched Jim Gaffigan's stand-up, "Beyond the Pale," stop reading this review right now and go rent it. Seriously. Unless, of course, you've got tickets for an upcoming show, in which case I would advise you to see him first in person. For those of you that have seen "Beyond the Pale," attend a live performance at your own risk. I went to the June 6th show at the Hard Rock in Orlando, and while I certainly laughed my a** off, I was still very disappointed! It was as if I read the book and then saw the movie; there's no comparing the two. I've seen "Beyond the Pale" at least 25 times and I laugh until my stomach hurts and tears are streaming down my face every single time. It's that funny. So, while I don't blame the guy for not being able to reach the impossibly high comedic bar he set with his debut-cable-network performance, I must give due credit for any tears shed at the June 6th show to my 32oz date for the evening, Mr. Stolichnaya (Sorry, Jim).
Jim Gaffigan was hilarious as usual. It was great to see him in person and it was a lot of fun to hear the new material that he had.
What can be said about Gaffigan that hasn't already been said?? It obvious he spent his off season in the gym - with his new physique (stong upper body, sculpted arms) he could easily be mistaken for Carrot Top. Humor was sharp and witty - while still sporting the complexion of a Wisconsin dairy farmer in the dead of winter, he continues with his classic Jim Gaffigan humor, observations, love of food and laziness, and the occasional little voices mimicking fictitional audience members - he continues the high standard of comedy that we have grown to love and expect from this great comedian. If one of his acts is on TV some day soon, I'll definetely consider getting up to change the channel to watch it.... if I can't talk the pizza delivery guy into changing it for me first. Jim Gaffigan is still 'CALIENTE!!'

Jim Gaffigan is one of the funniest comedians out there. I love his jokes and i love his style. But, i feel like watching his performance live was just as fulfilling as watching his act on T.V.
My whole family went to Jim Gaffigan and we thought he was amazing. My husband and son watched him on Comedy Central and really wanted to go. I purchased the tickets and he exceeded my expectations. I don't think I have laughed that much in months. I like that he does not feel the need to use excessive foul language to make his show funny. He uses both old and new material. The audience was engaged the whole time.
Jim Gaffigan was hysterical! I would definitely go see him again! And the MGM Grand at Foxwoods is a wonderful place to see anything!
Gaffigan was hilarious as usual, his performance was fantastic and we enjoyed his new material. The only complaint I would have is that the ticket prices surely did not equal the accommodations. With the cocktail prices and the tickets, I would think that the seats would be better than a row of tightly fitting chairs where you had to feel the breath of your laughing neighbor on your neck . Maybe I have wishful thinking or a preconceived idea of what a comedy show would have, but I always wanted to go see a comedian and sit at a hightop table with my friends or be able to at least cross my legs instead of feeling like I was on an airplane stuffed between two portly travelers. ok, that's my two cents. Wherever you get a chance to see Jim Gaffigan, GO! Even if you have to rub elbows with a creepy guy who's probably staying at your hotel..."what room are you in?"
I have seen him several times and he is always funny. Jim alwasy has alot of new material that he mixes well with his classic stuff like "Hot Pockets" A must see!
We got to sit on the first row, the middle, right in front of Jim Gaffigan. It was a great show. Hoping to see him again very soon.
Jim was great, he did some old bits, and some new ones. However, he only performed for like 45 minutes, which seemed a bit short for the price. Also, Hard Rock Live crammed as MANY seats as they could possibly fit in the place, meaning you couldn't move your arms, legs, etc. Really packed in and not comfortable. I don't know why they didn't just make it standing since the show was SO short.
Jim Gaffigan is nothing short of hysterical. I am not one for comedy shows but his way absolutely fantastic. I cannot begin to say how funny it was. If you like Jim, go to the show!!!
Gaffigan is always great--one of my favorites...but Hard Rock did not go very far to make you feel you'd spent your money wisely. I felt like I was in our school's cafeteria awating a faculty meeting...and the staff was very unknowledgeable...they had no idea how to get us to our seats...the bar was packed, yet they sent us through there to reach the other side...then when we got to our seats, we realized it would have been closer to go the other way...the lighting was not very good... The opener was okay, but thankfully Jim was Jim and he saved our night. Definitely seen better shows put on by a comedy club...and by that, I mean the little dinky ones...where you pay $20 rather than $65...
Great show! Loved that he performed a lot of new stuff and some old but not too much! Great show with a geat small and quaint venue.
The guy is a riot......My face muscles hurt and the end of the show from laughing so hard for so long! Bottom line........GO SEE THIS GUY IF YOU GET THE CHANCE!!!
I took my husband as a surprise for his birthday, He loved the show, so did I for that matter, he is hilarious. Husband is still quoting a month later.
