Jim Gaffigan is a seven-time Grammy nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, three-time Emmy winning top touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist. A top ten comedian according to Forbes' 2019 comedy list and top ten earning comedian in Pollstar's 2022 list, Jim released his 9th stand-up special, Comedy Monster, on Netflix December 2021 which was nominated for a Grammy. He was also recently awarded for being the first comedian to reach one billion streams on Pandora. Gaffigan will release his 10th comedy special, Dark Pale, this year, an unprecedented achievement for the comedian/actor.
Gaffigan can currently be seen as the lead in the well-reviewed Sci-Fi dramedy, Linoleum, and stars as Mr. Smee in Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy, opposite Jude Law and Yara Shahidi. He will also co-star Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, James Marsden, and Hugh Grant in Netflix's Unfrosted, and co-stars in Susie Searches which premiered at TIFF last year and will hit theaters July 28th. Gaffigan joined the cast of HBO Max's Full Circle, a limited series from Steve Soderbergh and Ed Solomon which follows an investigation into a botched kidnapping connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day NY. Full Circle will premiere July 13th.
Gaffigan was also recently heard in Disney/Pixar's highly anticipated animated film, Luca, opposite Jacob Tremblay and Maya Rudolph.
On the silver screen, his many credits include Three Kings, Super Troopers 1 & 2, and Chappaquiddick. 2019 was Gaffigan's biggest year to date with an astonishing eight films releasing, three which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival including Troop Zero with Viola Davis and Alison Janney, Them That Follow and Light From Light - with many festival goers and press calling Gaffigan the "King of Sundance."
Gaffigan also had two films recently in which he debuted as the lead. The comedic film Being Frank, and American Dreamer, a dark thriller which was the grand finale of 2019 for Jim and features him as a ride share driver who moonlights as a private driver for a drug dealer.
Gaffigan can also currently be seen opposite Ethan Hawke in IFC Films Tesla, as well as opposite Josh Hartnett in Saban Films' Most Wanted.
In addition to two seasons of the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical The Jim Gaffigan Show, which he wrote and produced with his wife Jeannie, and his widely popular stand-up comedy specials, Gaffigan has guest starred on many television comedies and dramas, ranging from Portlandia and Bob's Burgers to the HBO cult hits Flight of the Concords to dramatic roles in Law & Order.
Gaffigan regularly does humorous commentaries on CBS Sunday Morning for which he has won 3 Emmys. In 2018 Jim served as master of ceremony at The Al Smith Memorial dinner. In 2015, Gaffigan had the great honor of performing for Pope Francis and over 1 million festival attendees at the Festival of Families in Philadelphia.

I had seen Jim Gaffigan on many occasions on t.v. but the energy he puts off in person is electric. He had my whole party cracking up the entire event and well into the rest of the night. Jim Gaffigan is hands down the best comedian out there right now. If you have the chance to see him go to both shows he does that night.
The Gaffman was hilarious!!! Some of his old classics with newer material! All good stuff - The crowd was great too - They loved it! Perfect venue too in the bay under the stars! lol pocket!

I love that the day after we're still quoting Jim Gaffigan... and we'll probably still use his quotes for the next month or so. (Remote control, shower cap, hotel rooms, pools, Hot Pockets... LMAO. ) Humphreys is our favorite venue, ever.

Food was Great as always. Gaffigan has a way and style all his own.
Went to see Jim at Humphrey's by the Bay. As always (this is our 5th time seeing him), he was side splittingly funny. Couldn't catch my breath, was laughing so much. New stuff was just as funny as his old stuff. Most of all, love his little "side" voices he uses. Always gets a laugh out of me.
I seriously laughed so hard at times I had to breathe. My stomach muscles got a good workout.
I took my 14-year-old son and his friend to see Jim Gaffigan last night. We are familiar with a lot of his material, so a lot of it was not new to us. The stuff we hadn't heard was good, but it seemed like he phoned it in. A couple of times I found myself looking around wondering how much longer until it was over. To someone who is not familiar with his stuff, it would have been an enjoyable show.
Fans of Jim Gaffigan's bacon and Hot Pocket jokes got what they came to hear at Humphrey's, but Jim Gaffigan appeared a bit tired. He missed the relation to the audience by throwing in a few funnies about his observations of San Diego (or c'mon... throw in a few burrito or comic con or horton plaza jokes...whatever), but he acknowledged fans sitting in the canoes nearby (which was great.. so far, every comedian I have seen there had made a joke about non-paying fans sitting in the 'bay' section at Humphrey's). If you have not heard Jim Gaffigan before, go for sure. If you know all of his jokes, you might be disappointed. There was not a lot of new material or movement on stage (like his unicycle scene - my favorite - shown in his 'Beyond the Pale' show). All in all, the DVD 'Beyond the Pale' was the best so far. I found his gig last night a bit short (1 hour and 25 minutes) and not very energetic.

OMG..... Jim was G-R-E-A-T. I did not stop laughing for a second. All new material except for Hot Pockets which of course is a must!!!!!! I consider him one of the funniest comics on the circuit today!

this show was awesome! my husband and i enjoyed ourselves. service was amazing and jim was hilarious. we had never been to this venue or a comedy show but we are very intrested in doing this type of thing again...woohoo!
Gaffigan was funny for the entire hour. Parking at Humphreys was a bit hectic but the open air arena was great.
The four of us literally laughed out loud the entire show. I've seen his show on comedy central and he didn't repeat any of that material- all new good stuff =) highly recommend.
