Jesus Christ Superstar Tickets

Have loved watching JC many times. Excited for this version but sadly spent most of time unable to decipher lyrics as music sooo loud. Pity because the words are needed to understand the relationships, plot as very little interaction between main characters, the dance moves were mostly just aggressive jazz hands and jerks and felt incredibly rushed which left me (and other viewers based on comments leaving theater) feeling numb vs moved. It's such a great play, such a great script, it's hard to not love it but this version didn't do any of the actors justice nor respect the incredible importance of what was going on..I read some of these reviews after and saw it wasn't a venue issue since has been mentioned multiple times at other theaters. Thats too bad. At least it inspired me to watch the movie again to remember how good the lyrics are.

I last saw this "live"over fifty years ago. This new production was unbelievable, the voices, the staging. Magical and very moving. Thank you for coming to my hometown.

Music great, but difficult to understand the lyrics.

I have seen this show before and would rate this performance as subpar to the other.

From the very beginning to the end the cast performances were flawless. The crucifixion of our Lord was very real!!! It was Superb!

This was amazing! The performers in every aspect were in perfect synchronization and the choreography was exceptional!

Jesus Christ Superstar, was such a great production. The singing was over the top. And choreography was fantastic, The Last Supper was like a snap shot. This is a must see!

The set, costume, actors were great, but sadly because the music was sooo loud it drowned out the voices so strained to make out what any of the words were and much of time couldn't decipher. I've seen it many times before but this is first left feeling unmoved because of it. Maybe in a different venue...

What an amazing production! From the costumes to the stunning voices of the cast, it is a play that keeps you entranced. I enjoyed every moment of Jesus Christ Superstar!
