With the release of Jesse McCartney’s new single “Better With You” — his first new music since his well-received 2014 album ‘In Technicolor’ — it’s worth noting that the New York-born singer, songwriter, producer, and actor has had the kind of career that most young artists aspire to. With multiple platinum-selling tracks and a songwriting credit on Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love” under his belt, McCartney is ready to introduce his fans to who he is today.
His fans have been waiting almost four years since ‘In Technicolor,’ one of Spin Magazine’s Top Pop Albums of 2014. "It was a transitional time where I just let myself have some space from my career and get some perspective on life, something I really hadn’t had the freedom to do since I was 10. Then, a friend invited me to come to Nashville to do a songwriting camp for other artists,” McCartney recollects. “It triggered a huge surge in creative energy that led me to put this project and team together.” Now that he’s moving, McCartney has no intention of slowing down. He plans to release more music throughout 2018 and bring his dedicated fans along for the ride.
The deliberate attention McCartney pays to his craft is evident in the new songs he is gearing up to release this year, including “Better With You,” which he co-wrote with Brandyn Burnette, Molly Moore, and producer Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna). The acoustic-guitar-driven pop song is more sonically organic than the stylized, ’80s-inspired songs on In Technicolor and McCartney has re-vamped his visuals with art direction by Dewey Saunders (Anderson .Paak, Bridgit Mendler). “It feels fresh to me,” McCartney says. “This is a really strange time,” he says. “Things are contentious. I think a song about finding a safe place with a partner is an uplifting message.”

Jesse McCartney put on the best show EVER! I seriously feel’s like a dream. My 13 year old self would have probably cried seeing him. Will definitely be seeing him again (HOPEFULLY) in the future.

The show was fantastic. We enjoyed his energy, the venue and all the music. I gave my daughter these tickets for her birthday, we have seen him twice and he doesn’t disappoint. He’s cute and sexy without being raunchy. Because he was so young when he got started, he is still very young and energetic. Loved all of it!
I've been wanting to see Jesse McCartney for 20 years, but I never had the chance to do it, until now. Going into it for me, was really exciting! The tickets turned out to be a birthday gift from my parents that came two months early! The second he came out on stage the entire crowd stood up and remained standing from beginning to end. I gladly stood in my seat to be able to see him in his element. Although I was unable to get VIP tickets because the tickets were bought last minute, with just two days before the show, from what I can tell Jesse is sweet, kind, respectful,and down to earth, as if he treats everyone like he is their friend. As far as performance, he had the entire audience in the palm of his hand from the start of the show. Almost the entire crowd didn't stop singing along the whole time. He brought so much energy that I just couldn't help myself. I would definitely recommend going to one of his concerts to anyone who would listen. I will definitely be attending a Jesse McCartney concert again in the near future! For the next tour, I will do my best to be among the first in line to get tickets. I would buy them right now, if I could! I'll be sure to get VIP tickets next time. I have a feeling that he is one of the only artists that getting a VIP ticket is honestly worth it. Overall, the show was absolutely amazing from beginning to end!
This was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I have been a fan of Jesse McCartney since I was around 9 years old, so to finally be able to see him live was an amazing experience.
Jesse puts on an amazing concert. He has such a great vibe about him. The venue was great and the drinks were easy to get. Will be returning for sure.
I have been a fan of “Jesse McCartney” since he was in that boy band “Dream Street” in the late 90’s. I actually attended the first concert of the tour back in April this year and I was just so amazed how he put on a great show that I had to go see him again in Atlantic City at the Tropicana. His voice is amazing literally sounds the exact same way how he does on the radio. He was definitely born to be an entertainer! I look forward to attending many more shows of his in the future. We love you Jesse🫶🏽🎤💕
Jesse always puts on an amazing show, but the energy was fantastic here. Concert was great and no barriers put up so it felt like we were right there. Front row could not be beat. Really enjoyed seeing him in this venue. Definitely recommend seeing a Jesse McCartney concert!
Tropicana showroom shows Balcony but it’s really just another section of seats. There is walkway and Ada seating right in front of you. Jesse McCartney was great. Mix of all his pop songs and new songs! Enjoyed!
I enjoyed the show and Jesse sounds so good live! I just didn’t like how transition was done between songs. There were too many black out pauses in between. Could have reduced those or play some background music since there’s no set change.

LOVED IT! Jesse is a wonderful performer! Keeps the crowd involved all night! Vocals are always perfect! I’d travel anyway to see him perform! This time I even crossed the border! Made my childhood dream come true!
This show was so fun and nostalgic! I love the smaller venues because it feels more intimate. Best friend surprised us with Meet & Greet. That was amazing, however, I wish the interaction was longer than 20 seconds. Overall, great time.
