With the release of Jesse McCartney’s new single “Better With You” — his first new music since his well-received 2014 album ‘In Technicolor’ — it’s worth noting that the New York-born singer, songwriter, producer, and actor has had the kind of career that most young artists aspire to. With multiple platinum-selling tracks and a songwriting credit on Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love” under his belt, McCartney is ready to introduce his fans to who he is today.
His fans have been waiting almost four years since ‘In Technicolor,’ one of Spin Magazine’s Top Pop Albums of 2014. "It was a transitional time where I just let myself have some space from my career and get some perspective on life, something I really hadn’t had the freedom to do since I was 10. Then, a friend invited me to come to Nashville to do a songwriting camp for other artists,” McCartney recollects. “It triggered a huge surge in creative energy that led me to put this project and team together.” Now that he’s moving, McCartney has no intention of slowing down. He plans to release more music throughout 2018 and bring his dedicated fans along for the ride.
The deliberate attention McCartney pays to his craft is evident in the new songs he is gearing up to release this year, including “Better With You,” which he co-wrote with Brandyn Burnette, Molly Moore, and producer Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna). The acoustic-guitar-driven pop song is more sonically organic than the stylized, ’80s-inspired songs on In Technicolor and McCartney has re-vamped his visuals with art direction by Dewey Saunders (Anderson .Paak, Bridgit Mendler). “It feels fresh to me,” McCartney says. “This is a really strange time,” he says. “Things are contentious. I think a song about finding a safe place with a partner is an uplifting message.”

This show was so good, he really gets into the songs and puts on a great show!
Well it’s obvious I went to this show for a reason so I’m gonna rate it 5 stars when I could actually rate it higher if that was an option. Best show of Jesse’s I’ve been to hands down. If I could go to every show I would. Merch is amazing as well color choices were on point and the Tswift style bracelets were a nice touch too. If you get a chance to see him live this is the time!
Jesse was so good! He still sounds the same. He has great stage presence but Big Night Live in Boston was such an odd venue. Too much of a club not enough of a venue.
Jesse put on an amazing show! Venue was straight forward and easy, leaving could have been a little more streamlined but overall was good!
I had so much fun watching Jesse McCartney!!! It was so nostalgic for me as I’ve been listening to him for 20 years!!!! It was such a blast and I knew every word to every song!
The concert was awesome and so much fun! Jesse McCartney always puts on a great show!
He's just the best. No notes from me or my friends.
A night too remember, 20 years of a beautiful soul, jesse still got it and then some, super charming and nice as well if you spring for the meet and greet
The only con of this is that it's standing room. But that's not Jesse's fault. The concert was great. He sang old and new songs and it was amazing for 20 to 39 somethings! I def recommend.
Overall the concert is a great experience and there are always some changes whenever we go. Definitely would go back for some more concerts or bowling
My inner child has healed seeing him live. Great performance and he still has an impeccable voice after all these years !
Jesse was amazing! We would absolutely love to go see him again but unfortunately he won't be swinging back through Florida.
I strongly recommend the Elite package to meet Jesse. So respectful, so talented & was so nice to my daughter. His vocals are Top Male 100 All-Time
This was a great concert! The only feedback I have is providing more information to people who bought ‘balcony’ tickets for this specific venue (where to go, how to check in, etc.). Otherwise, great venue layout (line to get in, merch, bars, etc). And a GREAT concert experience, Jesse is an awesome performer 🥰
Jesse mccartney put on a great show, he kept the energy up and I actually loved his new songs too! Also idk who was in charge of the playlist before the concert but they knew their audience! the venue definitely oversold tickets but I don’t blame the artist for that
This show really brought me back such positive memories from my childhood and it was amazing! He still sounds great and really knows how to put on a show! Only complaint was that I wish the venue was a little bit bigger. There were people that couldn’t even get inside and had to watch from the hall. The venue may have oversold. Overall 10/10 show
Jesse bought the energy. Amazing show. Been to several before and this might be his best show ever.
This was my third time seeing him in concert! He always puts on a fun and entertaining show. I wouldn’t want to miss a show!
Jesse was absolutely amazing, he really is a true performer who loves his fans. The reason I gave 4 stars is not his fault, the venue was way overbooked with people squishing in and uncomfortable so I had to leave early which I was bummed about. But I would 100% pay to go see him again, he was lovely to watch!
