With the release of Jesse McCartney’s new single “Better With You” — his first new music since his well-received 2014 album ‘In Technicolor’ — it’s worth noting that the New York-born singer, songwriter, producer, and actor has had the kind of career that most young artists aspire to. With multiple platinum-selling tracks and a songwriting credit on Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love” under his belt, McCartney is ready to introduce his fans to who he is today.
His fans have been waiting almost four years since ‘In Technicolor,’ one of Spin Magazine’s Top Pop Albums of 2014. "It was a transitional time where I just let myself have some space from my career and get some perspective on life, something I really hadn’t had the freedom to do since I was 10. Then, a friend invited me to come to Nashville to do a songwriting camp for other artists,” McCartney recollects. “It triggered a huge surge in creative energy that led me to put this project and team together.” Now that he’s moving, McCartney has no intention of slowing down. He plans to release more music throughout 2018 and bring his dedicated fans along for the ride.
The deliberate attention McCartney pays to his craft is evident in the new songs he is gearing up to release this year, including “Better With You,” which he co-wrote with Brandyn Burnette, Molly Moore, and producer Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna). The acoustic-guitar-driven pop song is more sonically organic than the stylized, ’80s-inspired songs on In Technicolor and McCartney has re-vamped his visuals with art direction by Dewey Saunders (Anderson .Paak, Bridgit Mendler). “It feels fresh to me,” McCartney says. “This is a really strange time,” he says. “Things are contentious. I think a song about finding a safe place with a partner is an uplifting message.”

I enjoyed myself so much! My best friend surprised me with two tickets to see Jesse McCartney my first time and I hope it won’t be my last! Been following him since he was in dreamstreet big fan of all his music definitely made my birthday weekend the best!
He is truly the sweetest soul ever. He puts on an amazing show. If you can make it you won’t be disappointed.

Jesse McCartney puts on the absolute best show you can ask for! He interacts with the fans (actually did a gender reveal for a couple in the audience!!!!) The meet and greet experience was also everything we could imagine. Praying he goes on tour again because we are already planning our next adventure to go see him!!!!
The venue was clean, staff were so polite and helpful, we didnt have to wait long to get in. The show was phenomenal! Over the moon with the experience !
Jesse was so fun to watch. Such a good performer! I would definitely go again. He played a mixture of throwbacks and new songs.

The venue was absolutely amazing--it is very aesthetic and beautiful. The opened Ana Sky was really good and her music is good. When Jesse took the stage it was constant non-stop singing and he even interacted with the crowd and got personal about the new EP and talked about his son. The venue was quick to help when people passed out (it happened twice, one time in the middle of the 'pit' and another time before the show started off to the side of the 'pit'). I am glad I had the opportunity to finally see Jesse as he really did put on a show and interacted with the crowd. He also gave more information about some of the songs and mentioned his instrumentalists multiple times giving them the credit they deserve. The personalized Jesse drinks don't come in the special Filmore cups like their other drinks and for the price I think the Filmore should give out their cups with those drinks for how much is paid for them--the Jesse drinks were amazing though. There was a moment where QR codes were mentioned to be entered in for a surprise but the venue didn't have any QR codes to scan. I will also say paying $200+ to sit at a table by the bar is way too much personally. The crowd was not that amped up and I wish it was more lively throughout and not just with his most popular songs. The bathroom is not very accessible being under and down stairs, although they are kept clean and stocked.
It was an awesome concert and venue! Jesse McCartney blew it out of the park! One of the best concerts I’ve been to in awhile! Loved this!
I had such a great time at the concert! The performance was amazing, the venue was beautiful, and the staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Everything went smoothly once we were inside, and the overall experience was fantastic. The only thing I would change is how the line was handled outside before we were let in. Don’t get me wrong—it was a fairly quick process and moved along fast—but I felt like it could have been organized a little better. Other than that, it was a wonderful night, and I’d definitely come back for another show!
Moving here in a new country where it is so accessible to watch your favorite artists, I never expected it to be so fun and so worth it. I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!
I saw Jesse McCartney last year too and I think last year the experience all around was better. Jesse’s singing was quieter and was less energetic than last year. The crowd was wild, and not in a good way. First of all, the girl in front of me was vaping constantly and the cloud was thick. It was going in everyone’s faces and the smell was making me nauseous. I talked to three different ushers before anyone did anything about it. Finally she did it right in front of one of the ushers as they were passing us on the stairs and they finally told her to stop or she had to leave. During Jesse’s slow songs, the crowd was so drunk and withdrawn, their chatter was louder than his performance. It was embarrassing to witness and a bad look for Detroit. It was like I was at a bar and everyone was loud and wasted but not in a fun way. Hoping for a better experience next time.
Enjoyed jesse. Perfect. His opener was someone ive never heard of her music and esthetic were not my cup of tea. Filmore is Detroit seats were ripped up and the seating was tight.

Total amazing experience. I got the “meet and greet” photo op vip and you could have just called it a photo op instead. Didn’t really get to meet with him. The actual meet and greet was the ultimate package. Still enjoyed my time though. Loved the atmosphere and getting in wasn’t bad. With vip package I wasn’t aware that I didn’t need a fast pass. Money I could’ve saved. Definitely need some work with the vip lineup for the picture op though. It was a little scattered I feel like. Needed some fine tuning. Overall loved seeing my Jesse! Was so worth every penny!

Jesse never disappoints. He brings amazing energy and ALWAYS brings his top game for his fans. The venue was gorgeous and as a bigger girl the seating was very comfortable, although I didn't use it much once he was on stage.
