“TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! It’s terrific! The cast is plain wonderful. The book is as tight and absorbing as an Arthur Miller play. JERSEY BOYS is a show dynamically alive in music while, as a drama, it catches the very texture, almost the actual smell, of its time.”
–Clive Barnes, New York Post
“THE CROWD GOES WILD. I’m talking about the real crowd at the August Wilson Theatre, who seem to have forgotten what year it is or how old they are. And everything that had led up to that curtain call feels as real and vivid as the sting of your hands clapping together.”
–Ben Brantley, The New York Times
“OH, WHAT A FANTASTIC NIGHT YOU’LL HAVE! A phenomenal hit, with more show-stopping hit songs than any new show on Broadway. It’s impossible not to love JERSEY BOYS and this amazing cast. A spectacular, behind-the-scenes tell-all pop musical.”
–Pat Collins, UPN 9 TV
If you are in NYC and want to attend a Broadway performance, this is the one. It won't disappoint. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Great cast!
I have seen Jersey Boys twice before on Broadway, and once at The Bushnell. Love the show - feel like I'm a concert. But it was especially nice to see Mark Ballas in person!
If you are in NY before this show ends, you MUST see it! Absolutely incredible performances and story. If you can see Mark Ballas as Frankie Valli I would highly encourage you to do so. The entire cast was incredible and everyone in our group enjoyed the show.
Too much Talking- not enough singin & dancin. I go to musicals for the singing and dancing. This musical doesn't have enough of that. It took about 1/2 hour or more into the show before you'd get that toe tapping feeling. The dialogue was downright stupid and juvenile. I was wondering if you had to actually be a playwright or just a third grader to write a play! Just stupid. Not a fan. I did see Beautiful and there was a lot more singing in it. And the dialogue was better than a 3rd grader's. I don't know what all the Hullaballoo for Jersey Boys was about?
Sorry to see it go..:: was absolutely amazing... should be seen by all
Execellent. I highly recommend this, even to people who did not grow up with the Four Seasons.
This was my 2nd time seeing Jersey Boys. Although I booked the matinee specifically to see Mauricio Perez, so kind of disappointed he no longer was with the show. But it is still an awesome show. I had 4th row seats, so got to see all the action. Matt Bogart is the BEST Nick. He is hilarious.
Jersey Boys was a great musical. Brought back a lot of memories. Gave insight into the lives of entertainers. Music is for everyone!
This is the second time this year I have seen it and it's so amazing! So sorry to see it's leaving Broadway! I took my 16 year old daughter with me because she and I have watched the movie at least 150 times!! We just can't get enough!!!
EXCELLENT SHOW! IT WAS MY FOURTH TIME SEEING THIS GREAT SHOW IT IS A SIN IT IS COMING TO A CLOSE. SO GO SEE IT BEFORE IT ENDS!
This show was incredible. So much energy and excitement. This was the first time my husband had been to a Broadway show and I couldn't have picked a better one for him to see!!
While I had seen the touring edition of Jersey Boys in Raleigh, NC, nothing compares to seeing it live in NYC!!! The cast, set, sound, were all great and Mark Ballas is outstanding as Frankie Valli! A MUST SEE for any New York visit!
This was our 3rd & sad to say because of closing in Jan., our last time seeing Jersey Boys. Mark Ballis was outstanding & a perfect choice for Frankie Valli. We never wanted it to end bye bye baby bye bye
This is the second time I saw Jersey Boys. It was just as great as it was the first time. Anyone that has the opportunity to see this show, please take the time and go. So entertaining and incredible voices.
One of the best shows I have ever seen. Well worth the money. Mark Ballas was terrific as Frankie Valli. I would go see it again if it wasn't ending so soon.
I had never planned to see it. A friend asked me to go so I did. But Loved it!! What a nice surprise seeing Mark Balice as Frankie!! He certainly did a great job-everyone was fabulours,
I have been wanting to see Jersey Boys for a number of years. And it was a wonderful experience. Music and acting were stellar..
Mark Ballas as Frankie Valli was amazung. The whole cast was great. So glad I saw it. Highly recommend it
The performers did an outstanding job of paying tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The entire play just flowed with no down time. Wonderful performance.
Our seats were on the front row of the mezzanine and gave us a perfect view of this wonderful play! The actors were gifted and brought us all into the dynamics of the show. The songs brought back so many memories!
