“TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! It’s terrific! The cast is plain wonderful. The book is as tight and absorbing as an Arthur Miller play. JERSEY BOYS is a show dynamically alive in music while, as a drama, it catches the very texture, almost the actual smell, of its time.”
–Clive Barnes, New York Post
“THE CROWD GOES WILD. I’m talking about the real crowd at the August Wilson Theatre, who seem to have forgotten what year it is or how old they are. And everything that had led up to that curtain call feels as real and vivid as the sting of your hands clapping together.”
–Ben Brantley, The New York Times
“OH, WHAT A FANTASTIC NIGHT YOU’LL HAVE! A phenomenal hit, with more show-stopping hit songs than any new show on Broadway. It’s impossible not to love JERSEY BOYS and this amazing cast. A spectacular, behind-the-scenes tell-all pop musical.”
–Pat Collins, UPN 9 TV
Great show from start to finish! The songs were memorable and the cast was spot on.
The show was wonderfully entertaining from beginning to end. The cast was spectacular!
Great performance. Marc ballas is perfect for this show!
Fantastic show, very uplifting. You don't have to know much about or anything about Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to enjoy. It is a real shame the show is coming to an end.
One of the best Broadway shows I've seen in a long time. Outstanding performance by the entire cast. The music, audio, theater, and production kept the show moving so there was never a dual moment. Especially loved meeting the cast at the end of the show all were gracious in greeting the fans, true professionals!
Didn't know what to expect, as I'm a 39 straight guy and not a huge fan of musicals. But the show was incredible. Best I've ever seen. Entertaining from start to finish.
One of the best broadway shows I've ever seen...a must see!!!
We decided to see Jersey Boys before it closed have been wanted to see it for so long. My husband got the tickets to see them on my birthday it was fantastic. The music, dancing and the narration was fantastic. This has to be the best musical I've seen the only one I enjoyed this much was Mama Mia. Go see it before it closes and I hope it comes back to Broadway!!!
The show has an amazing upbeat!!!!! Cool energy!!!! We love it!!!!
Jersey Boys was awesome. My daughter and I are huge Dancing with the Stars fans and went specifically to see Mark Ballas. He was totally amazing as Frankie Valli and so were his Four Seasons cast members. We met the cast after the show and they couldn't have been nicer signing autographs and snapping selfies. We had a truly fabulous experience and would highly recommend seeing the show before it closes!
A wonderful broadway show that is an absolute must see before it ends on 1/15/17.
I finally made good on a 45-year promise to "do" Christmas in New York. And so on our 45th anniversary we saw Jersey Boys. It was the highlight of our five-day experience in The City. Absolutely fantastic - well written, well performed. It will stay with us forever. Roses!
I have a renewed appreciation for the arts and how performers can put on a vocally demanding show numerous times a week defies logic.
As someone who isn't into theatre, it was spectacular
This was my third time to see Jersey Boys. Brought my granddaughters this time and the also enjoyed it very much. Cast was amazing. Was disappointed at first that Mark Ballas would not be performing at this show but Jon Hacker was great.
The show was great! All performers did an amazing job telling the story. The whole audience seemed to really enjoy it. Only small criticism is that August Wilson theatre seats are way too small. Based on price to attend, it's reasonable to request some of that revenue can be put Into creating a more comfortable theatre. Still loved the show in spite of being cramped in the seat!
I love Jersey Boys I've seen the show in the UK several times but had to see it on Broadway while staying in New York. Such an amazing show with an amazing cast. Mark Ballas is a fantastic final Frankie. Go and see the show before its too late you won't be disappointed! ❤❤
I took my dad for his birthday. He had seen it twice already and for my dad to actually want to see a broadway show you know it's good. This was my first time seeing it and it was amazing! Mark Ballas from Dancinf With The Stars played Frankie and was unbelievable! So sad it's ending. I would definitely go again if the tickets were still available.
I have seen this play three times and this by far was the most outstanding performance!! We were at the December 20 evening performance . The cast was magnificent and Mark Ballas was the icing on the cake. He did an amazing, outstanding job on his performance as Frankie Valli! The absolute best Jersey Boys performance I have seen yet and the best Broadway show I have seen ever! And I have seen a lot of shows!!! Mark, you have found your place on Broadway!!!!
Recommended but it will be ending shortly so get your tickets now! The songs are wonderful and the cast were great! The seats are definitely snug so be prepared.
