About

Jenny Lewis' fifth solo album, Joy'All, is out June 9th. Produced by Dave Cobb and recorded at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville, Joy'All sees the highly anticipated return of one of the most compelling singer-songwriters of the 21st century embarking on a new era, in a new town--and on a new label, as she joins the iconic roster of Blue Note/Capitol Records. Heralded by the "strummy, beach bummy" (VULTURE) first single "Puppy and a Truck," and the subsequent "Psychos"- declared as "easily , one of Lewis' greatest creations" (PASTE)-Joy'All has already garnered a rapturous reception of critical acclaim: "four years on from her career-best On The Line, she's sounding better than ever." (PAPER). A culmination of Lewis' prolific 20+ year career, Joy'All follows her four previous solo albums --2019's On The Line, 2014's The Voyager , 2008's Acid Tongue  and her 2006 solo debut Rabbit Fur Coat--as well as her universally-loved work in Rilo Kiley and side projects Nice As Fuck, Jenny & Johnny, and The Postal Service. With no signs of slowing down for 2023, Jenny is ready to hit the road for an epic itinerary that includes both the upcoming 20th anniversary Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie co-headline tour as well as supporting dates for the Beck and Phoenix co-headline Summer Odyssey Tour, in addition to her own headlining dates in support of Joy'All.

The paramount us always great for shows. Not the best crowd at this show though.

by Jendash on 12/5/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Incredible! Such a great show! Paramount did a great job hosting per usual. Jenny Lewis and her band rocked and rolled all night. She had everyone on their feet, moving and grooving. This is one of those shows that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

    Short show

    by Timothy on 7/24/23

She can sing very well but I think she should go country as that seems her alley! Also, the show was short! Played about a little over an hour. Came back but still very short show.

    Way, way too short

    by John on 7/22/23

Jenny Lewis sounded great as did the band. Great music. BUT they played for just a little over an hour. And that's kinda pathetic. I live close by in Queens and it takes me over an hour just to get to the seaport. That's 2+ hours of travel, round trip, for an hour and 15 minutes of music. And what if I lived further away? I'm sure there were fans from NJ and LI in attendance that spent even more time getting to the show. I don't expect a two hour concert, necessarily, but just over an hour is lame. Especially considering the lovely weather and fun venue. Speaking of which, for $12, a pretzel should be served to you by a scantily-clad servant. Or at least have some friggin' salt on it. Seriously, way overpriced food. I wouldn't have bought anything but I didn't realize I would be going home so early.

Jenny Lewis was amazing. Loved the outdoor spot and views. Would’ve liked better quality food options and draught beer.

Jenny Lewis was PERFECT. everything else? just ok

    by B.M. on 7/21/23

After listening to Jenny Lewis for 15 years of my life or maybe more, I was DELIGHTED to see her. She was incredible and she and the equally incredible band put on a great show; I'd loveeee to see them again. My review rating mostly is in regard to other concertgoers and the venue. There was a man in front of me who was just really possessive of the front railing (despite the fact that I'd been standing there longer than him...) and seemed to have deemed himself in charge of deciding who gets to be in the front and who doesn't and chose a woman and her young son, who then everyone catered to and held a spot for while they ran to the bathroom. Which, as a single person, who came alone and was very anxious and needed to lean on something, was VERY frustrating, especially since four people who arrived after me, who had been standing there for 2 1/2 hours already, all got that option and blocked me out. I can't say for sure but since I was only existing in the space trying to listen to music this dude must have been biased against my fat body and didn't want to share space with me. It left me feeling bad and disappointed; I would have expected the crowd to be cooler than that. Of course, there were lots of other young women my age and younger who were kind and complimentary and observant and I really really appreciate those interactions. But pushy people who were clearly only there to get the best video kind of ruined it for me. And it was frustrating the venue has nowhere to sit unless you pay $50 for VIP. there are like two benches, and no one would move so I just stood the whole time. Frose was mid and overpriced but that's to be expected. Difficult to exit the venue, and anxiety inducing as they turned off the escalators and my already aching knees had to walk down them. Also extremely frustrating that ticketmaster MAKES you resell the tickets at double the price so none of my friends could come with me.

    Phenomenal performance!

    by KellyB on 7/16/23

Jenny Lewis was incredible from beginning to end! She interacted with the crowd and made the show so fun. The House of Blues in Cleveland was a unique location and allowed us to be close to the stage. It was an amazing night!

    Jenny is the best

    by Col84 on 7/16/23

I have seen Jenny about a dozen or so times over the years. Seeing her grow from the start of Rilo Kiley to her present solo has been a great adventure! I will always support seeing her as she puts on such a fun concert. She always throws in a couple unexpected songs and seeing Acid Tongue live can't be beat.

Engaging show at a good new venue

    by Scott Graham on 7/10/23

Jenny Lewis and her almost-all-woman band put on a great show in Chicago at the new-ish Salt Shed venue. The venue is amazing. We opted for premium seats which I would do again. We arrived early enough to get seats in a completely unobstructed location. There was a bar nearby as well as restrooms. The show was great. Jenny performed with energy and sass and her voice was supple and powerful as usual. Her quirky songwriting came through in strength. The band she is touring with is all female except the drummer, so Just One of the Boys was especially witty. She was rocking a one-piece leather jumper that, well, rocked. She owns the stage. I recommend seeing her on this tour. We saw the first night and you might not have known had she not mentioned it. The band performed well and acted like they'd been playing together for a long time. True talent.

    Must see!!

    by Ashley Nicole on 3/1/22

I saw her with Harry and I hadn’t listened to her music much before. Her stage presence is amazing as well as her vocals. She sounds just like her studio versions and that says a lot. 10/10 would see again hopefully as a headliner next time :)

She was amazing I would go see her again!

    by K. H. on 2/4/22

Before Harry’s Love on Tour concert I never heard of her before. I was speechless when I saw her perform. She interacted with the crowd and brought her songs to life in creative ways. Her stage presence is memorizing as well and her vocals are breath taking. After seeing her I instantly became a fan of hers.
