About
Jennifer Nettles music has been with us for so long, it is easy for ticket buyers to forget that she is only now starting her journey as a solo artist. For nearly a decade, Nettles has lent her alternately smoky, soulful and sassy voice to the country music duo Sugarland, and in the process netted two Grammys to go along with five Academy of Country Music Awards, and five #1 Country singles. During those years, Sugarland's music grew exponentially, with 2010's The Incredible Machine, an album filled with anthemic rockers meant to fill stadiums, expanding the very idea of what country music is and can be. Now, after the Georgia native took time away from her band's relentless tour schedule to become a mom, Nettles is spreading her wings as a solo act. For "That Girl," the first single of the forthcoming record, Nettles builds on the other woman persona that she adopted in the Sugarland hit "Stay," adding sultriness with the addition of Latin rhythms. With legendary producer Rick Rubin at the helm of the new project, it's safe to expect even more surprising platforms for Nettles's rich, emotional instrument both on record and in concert.

Jennifer Nettles was great
by Dmworr on 3/4/14Hard Rock Live - HollywoodRating: 4 out of 5The crowd did not seem to know who she was in my section . Most were older folks who had been comped the tickets Jennifer was just as energetic, entertaining and chatty as when she played with Sugarland ar Cruzan. I only wish it was more of a crowd that was familiar with her music Loved her opening act so much I went out and purchased the songs on ITunes
She is Soooo Beautifull

Intimate and well done
by SHAR08 on 3/4/14Hard Rock Live - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5Anyone in the in the audience was definitely a hard core fan and that was wonderful to see. The new album was wonderful and the older songs were well done and exciting. I have attended many shows when she was with Sugarland. She definitely held her own. This was a small venue, much different then the bigger arenas. It was a terrific intimate show.

WHAT HAPPENED TO SUGARLAND
by chuckkin on 3/4/14Hard Rock Live - HollywoodRating: 2 out of 5I have seen SUGARLAND many times and this show seriously lacked energy so many ballads the audience was going to sleep. The only song that energized the theater were the three old Sugarland songs. We love Jennifer but without Christian she has no stage energy and the moves looked forced. She forgot what got her here, go back to your roots. we still love you and your old songs.

Nettles = Perfection
by emjay217 on 3/4/14Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5I knew this would be a great show, but I didn't realize just how GREAT it would be. From the moment that Jennifer Nettles walked on the stage, the audience was hooked on every word that came out of her mouth. She did a fair spread of songs from the new album and well known Sugarland songs. She tossed in a few cover songs for a perfect mix. There is something about Jennifer Nettles that just induces a smile. She seems genuinely grateful for her life and the opportunities that her amazing talents have afforded her. I wish more people were like her. My only complaint was that the show wasn't 2 hours longer.

Jennifer Nettles is an amazing performer! She is one of the few artist who sound better live than on her cd. She has amazing vocals and the show was well worth the price! Will def see her again if she tours in the future.
