About

No musical has ever held you like JEKYLL & HYDE. The musical thriller that haunted Broadway for nearly four years has been reborn… reimagined… and reenergized with two brand new stars – Tony® Nominee Constantine Maroulis and Grammy® Nominee Deborah Cox.

This dark and dangerous love story returns in a stunning new production that includes all the classic songs (“This is the Moment”, “A New Life”, “Someone Like You”) that first grabbed audiences by the throat and transformed JEKYLL & HYDE into a four-time Tony Award nominated theatrical phenomenon. Conceived for the stage by Tony and Grammy Award nominee Frank Wildhorn and Steve Cuden, JEKYLL & HYDE features a book & lyrics by two-time Oscar winner, Emmy winner and four-time Tony Award nominee Leslie Bricusse, music by Frank Wildhorn, and direction & choreography by Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun.

    Stunning Vocals & Theatrical Performance!

by TJSNJ on 5/6/13Marquis Theatre - New York

Enjoyed this show with my husband, 2 kids, and 2 of our best friends celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary! The theater was great...perfect size, the performance was so amazing (different from what I had seen years ago when I saw this show on Broadway), the vocals were just full of raw emotion...Deborah had me sitting with tears flowing down my face really believing her character "Lucy"...Constantine of course has such a powerful, raw, rock voice that I am truly in love with! The entire supporting cast was awesome and also cordial after the show when meeting them! The leads in the show also showed such humbleness when approached and signed autographs, and allowed photos until all the fans were satisfied! I felt like the cast was in the show truly for the audience!! Highly recommend it and I can't wait to see where the cast of this show will land...because I will be sure to attend!! <3 Much Love, from TJS~NJ

    Hekyll and Jekyll

by MikeMD on 5/6/13Marquis Theatre - New York

Good Riddance to the current sad production which is an insult to the production with Robert Cuccioli the only one who did it right. Only Debra Cox was able to perform in keeping with the classic. stars I sat there shaking my head. The Hoff and Sebastian Bach are a major upgrade over the pitiful current star whos name I won't even say. Bring back Cuccioli Get rid of the lights and gadgets

I saw Jekyll & Hyde many years ago. This version performed all the same wonderful songs but with its own personality. Constantine, Teal and Deborah were fantastic! I can't believe it received no Tony nominations. I am disappointed they are closing early. Many people will miss the opportunity to see a great performance.

Why are they taking this wonderful show away!!!!

by ErJam on 5/6/13Marquis Theatre - New York

This show was amazing!!!! All of it. Constantine & Deborah blew the roof off the theater. And the role of Emma, could have only been played with such vulnerability and zest as Ms. Teal! When she & Deborah Cox sang their duet, I could not stop the tears. It was such powerful and poignant performances from all of the cast. I loved the staging & the way the sets moved. It was just so wonderful. I thought it was going to be a retelling of a story I knew but it was like actually being inside the story - you felt their doubt & their joys as well as just so much anguish & sorry. Deborah was just the right amount of saucy & sassy that she just was Lucy! I don't know why she doesn't do more Broadway - such a powerful voice! I was very entertained & glad I got the chance to experience the show.

    Great Show

by Al316 on 5/6/13Marquis Theatre - New York

Amazing show, very rock style musical, with a good storyline and great effects. At times which it was rare it was hard to understand clearly one or two songs out of the 30 they sang. But it was so good and the cast is great, my girlfriend and I had a good time.

    an amazing performance

by Raphela on 5/6/13Marquis Theatre - New York

While the entire cast and scenery easily took you back in time Constantine Maroulis's dual Portrayal of Jekyll and Hyde revealed an incredible talent. I wish I could see this show again.

    Disappointing

by BlissRd on 5/6/13Marquis Theatre - New York

Expecting something that mirrored the Jekyll & Hyde production that was on Broadway in 1997 starring Robert Cuccioli, my wife and I were very disappointed with the current lead, Constantine Maroulis. We saw him in Rock of Ages but he struggled with the music and acting. Now we know why it's closing early.

    Unbelievable!

by InTheBack on 5/6/13Marquis Theatre - New York

This show was overwhelming. I don't know how they can do a matinee and an evening show. The two leads must be exhausted on those double show days. I have NEVER seen a better version of Jekyll and Hyde. Constantine and Deborah were so powerful! If I had the opportunity I would see it again. Love, love , loved it!

    Excellent Show

by CMDV on 5/6/13Marquis Theatre - New York

I would highly recommend this show (even though it is soon leaving Broadway).....it is a superb, edge of your seats, passionate, and wildly emotional show that leaves one feel like they have been on this journey with the characters themselves.....see this show before it is too late!

    This is the Moment!

by Angela00082 on 5/5/13Marquis Theatre - New York

I loved this show and it was the best I have seen on Broadway! Is a real shame that it is closing so soon. While not a 'feel good' musical with a happy ending the music is great, it is a psychological thriller, the costumes are done very well and Constantine Maroulis.....he is AMAZING! His vocals reach to the very back of the theater and his acting is Tony worthy. The 'birth' of Hyde in particular was amazing. With just the removal of a hair tie and glasses Constantine transformed before my eyes into a completely different person. Different look, vocals, even a different aura. It was incredible to watch. Met Constantine after the show too. Really nice guy and a very hard worker! I hope someone scoops him up for another great show really soon.

Jekyll & Hyde - 8th time the best

by lasttry1 on 5/5/13Marquis Theater - New York

I loved the first staging of J & H. Saw it 4 times on Broadway and three times on Long Island. This new production is very different and the difference makes it even better. I loved Constantine in the lead. He played the part differently too, but different can sometimes be better.

    Jekyll and Hyde

by BobOnTheAisle2013 on 5/4/13Marquis Theatre - New York

Deborah Cox was very good. Constantine was ok but shrill. The show itself had no life and every change made from the original was not good. I noticed that the day after I saw it closing notices were posted. Deservedly so. This is not a Broadway quality production.

    Constantine is amazing

by Anonymous on 5/3/13Marquis Theatre - New York

Constantine is amazing in the dual role of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The soft spoken Jekyll turns magically into the demonic, sexy Mr. Hyde with the sonorous voice of Maroulis.

    RE-Vive A Dud

by herbertfein on 5/3/13Marquis Theatre - New York

it was clumsy and badly staged. The sound was constantly augmented to make the vocals seem eerie. It was almost juvenile like the most recent re-incarnation of Dracula at the Little Shubert.
