    Married but single was amazing

    by Boricua79 on 5/25/16Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

The play was amazing, from being funny, to great vocals all the way to the message. Very on point. I am glad I took my man to see it, he was tired of me saying mmmmmmm!.lollll. I almost got in trouble when the gentleman had no shirt on.."Jesus take the wheel"..loll. The only thing I didn't like is that it was only for two days, so when I posted it on my Instagram and Facebook people were disappointed that they couldn't see it...

    Bad acting, and boring

by Theress on 5/25/16Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

My mother took me to this show.. we were both bored, with the exception of one exciting moment when they guys took of their shirts! My mother wanted to leave early, i was yawning it was just bad. The acting was so fake and predictable. I love Lisa ray but her acting was stale. I was really dissapointed. I have been to numerous plays and this needs alot of revamping! Save your money. .

    THIS SHOW WAS AWESOME!!!!

by showshell on 5/25/16Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

I truly enjoyed this show. The cast was great and was able to improvise when things went awry with the microphones, which is beyond their control. This play has all the elements that I love in a show such as... comedy, love, and forgiveness.

    Nice Plot Twist

    by Dikah25 on 5/24/16Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

I finally got to see a play by Je'Caryous Johnson live instead of on DVD. I have always wanted to see a live production by this playwright since I saw "Maintenance Man. The Play was fanatastic. It show various relationships not only between the lovers but even among friends. It showed what happens when friends become jealous but to understand and forgive is very powerful. It was also funny and you could see that the cast interact will with each other. Lisa Raye McCoy was good in the lead role and love Chrisette Michele songs. The most memorable character was "the pimp" played by Carl Payne. Actually his role is so valuable I don't thnk the play would have been as a good! This play was amazing and I would recommend everyone to see this and any other play this writer produces.

    PHENOMENAL

    by BLESSINGS52 on 5/24/16Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

THE PLAY WAS PHENOMENAL, ALL OF THE CAST HELD THEIR OWN BUT THE BEST ONE, IN MY OPINION, WAS CARL ANTHONY PAYNE; HE STOLE THE SHOW. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL PLAY BY JE"CARYOUS JOHNSON AND I REALLY ENJOYED THAT. I HOPE THAT HE PUTS THIS PLAY ON A DVD SO THAT I CAN PURCHASE IT AND I KNOW THAT OTHER PEOPLE WOULD BE WILLING TO PURCHASE IT AS WELL. KUDOS TO MR. JOHNSON.

by BklynMusicGal on 5/24/16Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

3 words. Carl Anthony Payne!!!! He made the show. Hilarious. The show would have been a little slow without him. He ad libbed a scene about different oils. The actors were laughing so hard they couldn't remember their lines. Tears!!! Terrell Carter can saaaaaaaang. Omg. Wonderful talent. A younger Johnny Gill. Show was very enjoyable.
