Jay Mohr was amazing. I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time. I would definitely recommend the show.
Jay Mohr was ridiculously funny.... I was skeptical since I haven't seen him before but really, he was hysterical. He does really great impressions and also is very good at engaging the crowd. There was one off the cuff joke about being a 7 or 8 year old and getting some sexual favors from another man-- they took the crowd by shock and actually I watched a few older folks leave.... I appreciate if he doesn't care what people think...!! Overall A+ on the laughing factor, very funny guy with awesome stories. Really great dane cook impression.
Jay Mohr was hilarious!!! I will definitely go back to see him again.
Exceeded my expectations. Wouldn't have known he was here in Detroit had we not read his blog. I Don't recall seeing any advertising in the Detroit newspapers. He was very funny, and his impressions were spott on.
First time seeing Jay. Awesome show. Who else does a Forest Whitaker impression? Amazing. Heard Him on Opie and Anthony, Ron and Fez, Sirius/XM, 105.
We didn't stop laughing for 2hours. Even his warm up guy was funny. Easy to get there and park. We'd go again in a minute. Totally worth it.
Jay Mohr is my favorite substitue pimp-in-the-box, and now he's my favorite comedian. He absolutely killed with his stories about his kids. "1/4 Gay" made my wife laugh so hard she hurt.
Jay mohr was hilarious....i cant wait to come see him next time he is coming to town.
Aside from the sound guy not being on Queue with one of Jay's bits, the show was awesome. Hope he comes back soon. Slam Man, you hit a home run.
Amazing performance! Definately go see it if you have not already.
he was great....loved it...kept me in stitches all night
Loved, loved, LOVED the show!!! He is so funny!!!! This was my third time seeing him.....sorry we couldn't stay for the meet and greet!
I really enjoyed seeing Jay Mohr at the Wilbur Theater. His jokes were great! I laughed alot!
Jay did a great job. A real old-school comedian who definitely gives the paying audience their money's worth. The opener (Karlos Rodrigues, I think) was also a great bonus. Jay covered old, new and everything in between. I'll be on the lookout for his next show. I found out about the show via Twitter. Didn't hear any advertising on any other media.
Corey before Jay was great with his relationship humor. This was my first time seeing Jay's act. It was great.
This was one of the best comedy shows I have attended. He stuck around to sign books & take pictures. I got the feeling that he is appreciative of his fans. Plus he's really funny.
good show a little refresh not so much swearing as some comics do.
The show was fantastic and he is hysterical. What a talented performer!!! GREAT JOB!
Jay Mohr was even funnier than we expected. We thought he'd be more low key like his Gary Unmarried character, but his personal stories were much more fun. It was definitely adult humor and unexpectedly raunchy, but hysterical.
I think that most people think that Jay is just an actor trying to break into standup. He's not - he's the real deal, and can make anyone laugh hysterically! This is unfortunately only the second time we've been able to see him. The first time, his Christopher Walken story had me laughing so hard that I missed half of the jokes! This show was no different. His acting skills only make the comedy better. Even if he hits controversial material, it's done with a skill that couldn't possibly offend anyone. I just think Jay is an amazing comedian. We went with 3 people who couldn't wait to get on their cell phones and tell friends how hilarious he was. I'll definitely see every show of his that I can. We bought his new book, and he graciously signed it and was patient and warm with every fan after the show.
