Jay and Silent Bob Get Old was hilarious. But it was super annoying that idiots in the crowd kept shouting things out.

About
Following the release of the cult-classic film Clerks in 1994, long time friends Jason "Jay" Mewes and Kevin "Silent Bob" Smith quickly became much loved stoner icons, with their mischievous characters going on to star in Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Clerks 2, all of which were written and directed by Smith.
The duo have toured Jay & Silent Bob Get Old through the US, recording each evening and then releasing the audio as a free podcast, resulting in the show being ranked the #1 podcast on iTunes Comedy. The shows are a sometimes touching, always hilarious, and a very honest insight into what happens when two people grow up together in the Hollywood limelight.
Now Australian fans will have the opportunity to be a part of the popular podcast series and see their slacker heroes on stage doing what they love, telling stories and poking fun at each other. Jay and Silent Bob are getting old, come watch it as it happens!
Rating: 5 out of 5by tuiow on 11/13/12The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte Rating: 1 out of 5 This show sucked. We left after 35 minutes.
by YouLostMeAtBlumpkin on 11/13/12The Fillmore Charlotte - CharlotteGot to the venue with time to spare. Great parking spot , great seats, drink in hand and 15 minutes till the show was due to start. Unfortunately the show started 30 minutes late so we sat there for 45 minutes. Not a good way to start the evening. Kevin and Jason finally came out and it was amusing for the first 15 minutes then I started looking at my watch. Kevin is clever and I wish he had done most of the talking. He is an amusing story teller and a good public speaker. Jason is awkward and rambling. The humor is grade school playground stuff that wears thin fast. I finally said to hell with it I wasn't going to waste both my money AND my time. The money was gone but I could still recover some of my time. We got up and walked out 35 minutes into the show and I am glad we did. I don't feel like I missed a thing. The movies will always be a pleasure but I won't try a live show again. Maybe if it had just been Kevin we would have enjoyed ourselves. I don't recommend this show.

by Twhit78 on 11/13/12The Fillmore Charlotte - CharlotteThe show was excellent, I have listened to the podcast since the beginning. Seeing it live was great. I could finally see all the stuff that was acted out but did not translate to the audio version.

by VeeTeeGee on 11/13/12The Fillmore Charlotte - CharlotteAwesome - hysterically funny - especially if this stuff is truly ad-libbed and off the cuff. Best comic duo ever - requires no straight man, but may require a straight jacket for those who go crazy from laughter. Would have loved to have attended the Q&A in Greenville, had I known about it. Would have asked Kev some interesting questions.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Jay and Silent Bob were phenomenal

by Rxdvs on 11/13/12The Fillmore Charlotte - CharlotteI really enjoyed the show. Felt very relaxed and had a great time. It was a little weird going to the Fillmore and sitting in a chair but still an excellent experience.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Smith & Mewes do it again!
by MrMoRock on 3/22/12Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoI love this podcast & experiencing it live only brought it to another level. The Jay & Silent Bob crew put together a hell of a night, along with Kevin's mom in attendance. Picked up a signed copy of Red State too. All in all a great night, abs hurt the next day from all the laughs, the girlfriend agrees.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Awesome!
by KathyH05 on 3/19/12Hard Rock Live - OrlandoThis was actually my first show, and I enjoyed it. I paid for tickets mainly for my husband, and he had a great time. He loves Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, and I was happy watching him laugh. (Now he's looking up "The Book of Mormon" by the way). Thanks for all your hard work and keeping people entertained!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Kevin and Jason are natural entertainers!
by GibbousMoon on 3/19/12Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoI'm a play-it-safe homebody. I've never been to a concert, play or any type of show on a stage. This year I decided I wanted to change that and "Jay and Silent Bob Get Old" was my first event. I'm glad I went, it was friggin' hysterical. Just listening to these two best friends tells us great stories from their youth or from just a couple of weeks ago is great entertainment. Not only are the stories they tell far removed from your average human experience, but they're great story-tellers and it makes them that much more interesting. If you enjoy Smodcast, Kevin's love for heavy dialog in his movies or the various "An Evening With Kevin Smith" movies, you're going to fully enjoy this show.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Jay & Silent Bob Still Awesome!
by MommyGay7 on 3/19/12Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoSaw Jay and Silent Bob Get Old at Hard Rock Live in Orlando Friday night, they were great! They were so funny and great to listen to and watch. They were very audience friendly. Jason Mewes is still a hottie, and enjoyed the whole show! :)
Rating: 5 out of 5 Jay & Bob unforgettable!!!
by BenAfweck on 3/19/12Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoHilarious show from start to finish. Well worth the drive.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Much more entertaining than it might sound on pape
by unami on 3/18/12Carolina Theatre - DurhamIf you've never listened to their podcast, you need to know up-front that it's pretty much just the two of them sitting there talking to each other for a couple of hours. Mewes gets up from the table occasionally, and at the end there's some fan interaction, but for the most part, it's them sitting there at a table, shooting the....well, talking. That might not sound very exciting or entertaining, but if you're a Kevin Smith fan, you'll be laughing so hard, your face will hurt (trust me, it happened to me). If you're still unsure, google their podcast and have a listen - it is what it is.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Beth123456789 on 3/18/12Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando Awesome show as always! I would recommend you check out Kevin Smith first before seeing the show if you're not sure since this does contain adult content.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Kevin and Jason were ridicoulusly funny.
by BabydollFace on 3/18/12Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoAlthough it was a live podcast and not a theatrical performance, it was intensly hilarious. Kevin and Jason keep you in stitches the whole night. With audience participation, personal stories, and Jason's "let us f$&@" bit, there's never a dull moment. Would definitely go again.
Rating: 5 out of 5 I love these guys
by hunterb2003 on 3/18/12Carolina Theatre - DurhamKevin Smith has entertained me for more hours than I can count. He did it again at the Jay and Silent Bob Bob Get Old podcast recording. Amazing. Would only have been better if I could have shaken his hand and told him how much I appreciate everything he has done (yes, even Jersey Girl).

Rating: 5 out of 5 amazing show
by tanda69 on 3/18/12Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoOur faces hurt and our throats were sore by the end of the show. There was never a lull or dry part of the night. We loved it. Our only complaint, if you could call it that, is for the money a longer show or an opening act would have been nice. But we have no regrets. Jay and Kevin blew us away.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Laughed from start to finish!
by Anonymous on 3/18/12Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoMade our sides split. I have to say-I love the extra touch of Kevins momz being there. It made me feel like, "wheres moms, oh crap" everytime he said something out of line, which was pretty much the whole show. Awesome.
