    I’ve been a fan of Jane Monheit for 25 years and seeing her live was a great experience. Set in a large theater it felt much more intimate with her, a piano, a bass and her husband on the drums. I had the impression she was truly enjoying what she singing. The band wash very impressive.

    Jane Monheit was incredible. Jimmy's was as good; from being escorted to the elevator (broken ankle), to the polite, efficient, lovely wait staff, to the atmosphere. Food was great too. If I could rinse and repeat I would. Thank you, Jane Monheit for coming to Portsmouth and thank you Jimmy's for the wonderful experience.

    A wonderfully enjoyable evening with Jane Monheit. This was her tribute to Judy Garland show. It was a great and varied selection of familiar and not so familiar numbers. Jane connects well with her audience and her between song musings seemed genuine, informative and entertaining. I would easily go to see this show again.

    In no way disappointed! Her singing is wonderful and I lo her connection to the audience. also love how she includes her bands talents, they all seem so great together! Jane puts on a great show, talented, funny and entertaining. Enjoyed her little stories.

    If you are a fan of Jane Monheit, or just saw her for the first time, you were in for a real treat. Jane's voice is just so perfect and pure!!! She's sooo much more comfortable on stage now than she was five years ago. The Carolina Theater and Jane provided a perfect venue for an intimate evening of singing and storytelling. I was prepared for more ballads but LOVED the jazz. When she sang with just the bass player......perfection. I hope more and more people get to know Jane's music. I hope she comes back to Raleigh soon!!!!

    The Jane Monheit concert at the Valley Performing Arts Center was spectacular. She was delightful, funny, warm, personable and that voice! Fantastic!
