Only downfall was during some of artists the speakers were not loud enough. Luckily they addressed and fixed this problem as the night continued. Griz was VERY SOFT but Lotus was loud enough. Great atmosphere and venue, great crowd. Had a blast and I hope to return next year!
A relaxing day of flat out jammin. It doesn't get much better than at the river stage which overlooks the glorious Delaware while our dance your face off. I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys a relaxing time in Philly without having the crazyness that most festival gatherings have to offer. Food trucks and and a wide variety of drinks make this event a must! Hope they make it happen again next year.
The music was too quiet before lotus. We needed more bass!!!! Bathrooms were horrible. I liked all the steps and areas to chill with friends & meet ones :)
Great music, awesome vibes and sweet location. Hope to see it come back again next year!
All the artists' sets were great. Griz seemed a bit quiet however, but I don't mind not getting hearing damage. Lotus only played for two hours and that's my only downside about the musical acts. The plumbing there sucked big time. At Penn's landing the water fountains would alternate between no flow, and shooting out water. Also I heard the girl's bathroom toilets were overflowing like mad.
The only act I found worth seeing was Lotus. Although I had a blast at the venue, I did not pay attention to any other acts besides Lotus. I wish Lotus would have been able to play two sets.
The artists probably played awesome music... unfortunately, if you weren't 50 feet from the stage you were having a REALLY hard time hearing any of it. Griz, the 2nd to last act, even got on the mic and apologized that its so quiet and stated that he was told it had to be for "some reason". Never have I been to a show where I work my way to the front row and am able to speak in a normal voice to the person next to me and have them hear me perfectly. Aside from the volume, the venue was full of potential. Unfortunately, thats about all I can say for it. Couldn't use the bathrooms because they were atrocious (I used them when I first arrived and they were in this state already), floors flooded before the event started, every toilet full to the brim and clogged up, stalls didn't even have doors... At least I could refresh myself with an 8 dollar beer or an overpriced 3 piece chicken tender that felt like it sat in the sun since the day before. I can only hope that the people who organized this can get the feedback from the fans because EVERYONE was talking about the negative points all day. There simply was nothing to be excited about at this festival. This is the FIRST AND ONLY music event that I have ever left thinking it wasn't an absolute blast, so before you go thinking im a negative person looking to nitpick, please understand this was incredibly frustrating as someone who enjoys probably 25+ events a year and has had 0 negative experiences prior to this.
Everything was great except the bathrooms never seemed to be working.
All the bands were great. I got right up front for Lotus! Alcoholic beverages were reasonably priced. Could have been more vendors and bathrooms but over all was a great day! *once you enter the venue you couldnt come and go so my sister and I couldn't leave to go eat our packed lunch or refill our water bottles.
Thought it was a great event. Couldn't have asked for better weather and company. Still don't understand how people like these mediocre djs, but lotus, dosio, conspirator and zoogma were awesome.

The music at Jam on the River was excellent. Awesome energy, everyone cool, bands laying it down just right. The Venue has good and bad stuff. The bowl is cool, the view is great. Problems, bathrooms are seriously inadequate, this need to be addressed. The women were lined up to use the men's room. Also there needs to be 2nd and possibly 3rd set of speakers on the first tier landing and top landing. Sound starts to vanish quickly when you leave the lower part of the bowl.
All of the bands were amazing, we couldn't have asked for better weather too. However the venue itself was RIDICULOUS. The plumbing was so bad in the women's rooms that there was about 2 in of water on the floor of both women's rooms. Noone apparently could figure out how to flush the damn things properly -- basically the venue should have signage that their toilets are testy and that the flushometer needed to be held for like 10-15 second in order to flush. COMMUNICATE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. I had to use the men's bathroom (as did most other women) - you know you're desperate when the men's bathroom is more enticing than the women's. otherwise the venue was awesome -- the sound could have been a little bit better for Conspirator and Griz, but Lotus kicked it.
There were no portolets. Girls bathrooms were overflowing/clogged. Lines were 30+ mins and bathrooms were discusting. Girls were going in guys bathroom until staff stopped them, blamed situation on live nation.
Weather was perfect music was awesome people were awesome. Wish it didn't end at 10
Lotus headlined a great day of music at Penns Landing. Great music is back for memorial day weekend in Philly. Hopefully it continues for years to come
