  • valentine's Day love fest 2013 starring Jagged Edg

by Nijer on 2/18/13Newark Symphony Hall - NewarkRating: 3 out of 5

I mainly enjoyed the show because I've always wanted to see the group Silk. If Silk were alone, I would've had a better time overall. The sound system was horrible during most of the show. I was hoping they would fix the problem but, they didn't. The microphones were too low and you could hear the static. Maybe it will be better next time. Silk fan,

Force MDs and Silk was the show. Jagged Edge set was horrible and made this show average. Alot of people including myself left in the middle of the set. The sound system in the venue was horrible alot of feedback from the speakers and the DJ was terrible

  • Good Times in Newark

by DanceSister on 2/18/13Newark Symphony Hall - NewarkRating: 4 out of 5

We all had a great time at the Love Fest 2013. Getting to the Symphony Hall was easy and there is parking convenienlty located right across the street. I was especially looking forward to see Colonel Abrams and was disappointed in his performance. Apparently he has had medical issues recently, so he was not 100%. He only sang 3 songs to tracks of his music and he was gone! Force MDs were EXCELLENT and stole the show. Bow Legged Lou showed up and helped emcee in between acts. Even though 20 minute breaks were really an hour, BLL was funny as hell and the music was great.

  • Show From Hell

by Anonymous on 2/18/13Newark Symphony Hall - NewarkRating: 1 out of 5

The DJ was HORRIBLE,he was putting people to sleep. The show sucked because the sound equipment was TERRIBLE, the sound man had static coming from the speakers all night ! Then on top of all that , Jagged Edge came out sung two songs then began to talk & most of the crowd walked out !!!! I will NEVER go see Jagged Edge again. The rest of the acts were victim of that CLUELESS SOUNDMAN!!!! A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY & TIME !!!!

  • They were Jagged but had no edge!!!

by LPFam on 2/18/13Newark Symphony Hall - NewarkRating: 3 out of 5

Force Mds were really good,Silk was fantastic, however the headliner JAGGED EDGE WERE HORRIBLE!!!! They caused a premature exit by half of the audience including myself!!!!! J.E. sang other artists songs they were out of tune and most of there show was irrelevant!!!!!

  • Worst show ive seen

by Pulla on 2/18/13Newark Symphony Hall - NewarkRating: 2 out of 5

First thing is the venue was dirty and the min the show started a few of the speakers were blown so we sat thru ringing ane buzzing all show. Its saad that Silk was the only true performance over every one they new how to have stage presence. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN JAGGED EDGE..all the did is talk for 10 min about nothing sing a song as if they were home in the mirror sing to there self with now energy. The audience started hollering ror them to sing and the rushed 3 songs by the second song people got madd and started leaving. Never again for me the show was ghetto tye whole time during each performer there where people just walking back n forth on the stage like a show wasnt even going on very unprofessional. It was a waist of time and money...

Jon B. did a good job. He should've gone last. Jagged Edge gave excuses as to why they sound the way they did and they only performed 4 songs. They did not seem into the show what so ever and that is not ok. I brought a coworker to the concert since he has never heard their music and he was 100% over the whole thing. I've never seen them live and after that concert i would not want to see them in person again. I will stick to my cd's. (and thats sad because i have nothing but love for them)

  • Dru Hill was excellent

by BossWifey on 9/23/12House of Blues - Altantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

Dru Hill took care of business, they had you out of your seat the entire show. Jagged Edge was good until they walked off stage. Their segment was only about 30mins long and Dru HIll was on stage for about 1hr.

  • Jagged Edge concert

by Anonymous on 8/30/12Howard Theatre - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

The concert was supposed to start at 8pm, Jon B did not come out on stage until about 9:45pm. Jon B went on to sing multiple songs for about an hour. Jagged Edge then came out sang four songs, announced their upcoming cd and left the stage- the end! This was the worst concert I have ever attended and the lack of concern for the hundreds of patrons that were there, some since 5pm to get a seat was disgusting. I would never attend another concert with either of them.

Me and my sisters had a wonderful time. They love Dru Hill and i LOVE JE. the dJ from start to finish was great and our groups were fantastic could have been a lil longer for JE but still was outstanding

  • It's good to get out of the house

by Shawna253 on 8/27/12House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was okay. Dru Hill was on longer than Jagged Edge. Dru Hill put on a great show and Jagged Edge was very short. Its good to get out the house with your girls but I expected more.

  • Dru Hill and Jagged Edge

by StarryEyes9 on 8/26/12House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

I loved Dru Hill, they could do no wrong, great set. Wish Scola would of stayed on stage for more songs, his voice is amazing. Jagged Edge closed the show, it was a bit hard to understand them at times-accent thicker than a snicker bar. Then they abruptly left the stage at 10:57pm exactly, no closing, no goodbye, no encore. Dru Hill should of been the closing act. Otherwise a good show and great for the money.

  • Amazing

by DivaTeeTee on 8/21/12House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

This show was off the hook!! We jammed from the minute Dru Hill hit the stage until Jagged Edge left. My fiance' and I loved it. I thought Dru Hill stole it, he thought Jagged Edge did. I was a little disappointed that Jagged Edge didnt stay on longer, but it was all good. Loved it.

  • Jagged Edge

by TeeKeeC on 8/21/12House of Blues - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

The show was good...I was very excited to see My favorite Group. My only problem was how short the show was and I really dont recall Jagged Edge saying Bye before they left the stage.. So I was disappointed. I need them to come back and give a longer show and perform more songs..

  • disappointed

the house of blues was nice. had a good view of the stage.. I enjoyed dru hills proformance but they took up most of the show time.. i love druhill but i was really going to here the jagged edge hits. JE was only on stage for 4 songs and then ran off stage. i felt cheated.

  • Dru Hill - Yes! / Jagged Edge - Uh.....

by RandBQueen on 8/20/12House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

The deal was one hour of the DJs warm-up. One hour of Dru Hill. One hour of Jagged Edge. After party in the Fountain Room. While waiting for the DJ, a lady next to me asked why wasn't Dru Hill headlining since she didn't think Jagged Edge was as big. I just shrugged. Not really that concerned but wanting to see both. But although I love Dru Hill, I listen more regularly to early Jagged Edge at home. Well, the DJ did his thing warming up the crowd for an hour. Dru Hill came on basically on time and they were good. They did their thing. Delivered what we know from them and a few little surprises. Cisco was humble. Nokio was a nut, And the other brother whose name escapes me right now sang his butt off. Good show. Well Jagged Edge came on, again, basically on time. Lots of chatting. Too much talking and filler. Not enough of their songs and the classics that they DID do were not extended or there was no interesting spin put on them. Even with all the extra chat chat, the show was cut at 50 minutes (it ran from 10:05 to 10:55pm). It ended very abruptly with a "thank you for coming out - good night" and the obnoxious twins and the other two brothers were out. Bang. No encore. Nothing. The next thing we knew, the houselights were on and some quilted looking curtain was drawn and that was it. Get out and go to the Fountain Room for the afterparty. Personally, I was not interested in the afterparty - I paid for a SHOW and Dru Hill delivered and Jagged Edge left a lot to be desired.

  • Thoroughly disappointed!!!

    by Amira7 on 8/20/12Howard Theatre - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

The show started 2 hrs late. The opening act (Jon B.) performed for nearly 1 hr and 30 minutes. Jagged Edge finally appears and performs for only 30 minutes. Since when does the headliner perform in a shorter period than the show's opener? In addition, they sang a couple of other artists songs, while it would have been more appreciated if they used that time to sing their own since they weren't performing that long. One of the members spent too much time talking, and then the show was interrupted by a proposal by one of their friends. More time wasted. The blower was they departed the stage without a thanks, statement of appreciation or even a clue they were leaving and not returning. I am an avid Jagged Edge fan but will never go to see them again. After standing for 4 hrs because the show was standing room only (the venue - Howard Theater says this is determined by the artists) for a 30 minute performance I was utterly disappointed!

  • Could of been more of a show

by Mnita on 8/19/12House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 2 out of 5

I feel that Jagged Edge could have preformed longer they were only on stage for 30 min specially being they were the headline of the show and that who I really paid to see also J.E could announce that the show was over they were so rude they just walk off the stage and everyone was asking was the show over.. Dru Hill was okay I think they could have been more organize and also dress like the were preforming not like they were hanging out with each other.
