JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE IN CONCERT:
Legendary '80s outfit Great White continues to carry the torch for glammed-up hard rock under the name Jack Russell's Great White, performing to sold-out crowds around the country with a rotating lineup that boasts original frontman Jack Russell. The indomitable Russell has surrounded himself with a prodigiously talented group of players, and the band always does justice to favorites like "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and "House of Broken Love" at their adrenaline-filled live shows. Fans of arena rock looking for an outsized concert experience look no further: Jack Russell's Great White always takes the stage with showmanship and bombast to spare.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Great White formed in Los Angeles in 1977 and initially performed under a variety of monikers including Highway, Livewire, and Dante Fox. After several lineup changes, they hit their stride in the early '80s and changed their name to Great White -- a nod to guitarist Mark Kendall's natural platinum blonde hair and signature all-white stagewear. A debut EP released in 1982 received heavy airplay in Los Angeles, making them local heroes and landing them a record deal with EMI. They released their self-titled debut album on the label in 1984, making their first appearance on the rock chart with the modest hit "Stick It". Mainstream success came with the 1987 release of their third album Once Bitten, a platinum-certified record that contained the Top 10 rock hits "Rock Me" and "Save Your Love". High-profile tours with Whitesnake, Judas Priest, and Dokken continued to fuel their popularity, paving the way for a string of big-selling albums released in the late '80s and early '90s. After a roster shakeup in the early '00s claimed several of the band's longtime members, Jack Russell continued to play the group's classic hits as Jack Russell's Great White. He carries on the band's legacy today, treating ticket buyers to career-spanning sets of Great White's classic hard rock tunes on tour.
Great show by Jack and his band!! Lots of good memories with these classic songs.
Jacks voice sounds the same as the 80s, pretty amazing. I like the bullet boys performance better though
Enuff Znuff Bullet Boys and Great White nailed it. Thanks guys for a rocking great time!
Jack Russell may not move like he used to but he still has the pipes. Great to see Tony with him as well. The other bands were great too Enuff Znuff always a great show and Bullettboys laid it down.
Jack Russell still has it! Great time hearing all the hits!
Jack Russell and band, Enuff Z'nuff ans Bulletboys all did great! Lots of energy, voices holding up and plenty of audience interaction. Don't miss these guys!
It was great show great white and the bullet boys were excellent.
It would have made this experience so much better had our group know about the VIP area when booking as we would have all upgraded. Other than the first band wasn't so important other than a few songs but the Bullet Boys Rocked! Jack and the guys from Great White rocked us hard even with Jack obviously going through his own pain. Went out riding the Harleys first so we were all super primed for this event! Haa haa.
Thank you siriusxm for putting this tour together! We are Jack Russell's Great White fans and always will be. The show was great from all 3 bands. We have seen JRGW a couple of times before and loved the shows. This one at House of Blues, Las Vegas was the best! Can't wait to see 2019 dates for western US. Nor-cal especially.
The only thing that would have been better was seeing all the original band members together. ❤️
Fun show. It was 1983 all over again. Great sound and great music.
House of blues was a great place to see a show. Jack russellis was really good
I left the sound was awful I love metal and loud rock But this was painful the sound sucked!
Enuff Znuff was energetic, excellent, and fun to watch and sing along with. BulletBoys was very entertaining and full of energetic, great music. Jack Russell's Great White is why I went to the show, and they never disappoint. I love all the JRGW tunes, and everyone in the band is so very talented. "Captain" Jack still sounds FANtastic.
Absolutely incredible. 2nd time seeing them this year. Great concert
I almost didn’t get to Jack Russell’s Great White. Supporting bands were lacking energy. The crowd seemed bored or maybe I’m just too young for those type of shows. Who knows I might just be used to heavier music. Still though if it wasn’t for the beers I had next door at Tera Cota bar I would’ve left 5 minutes into the show.
Everything from venue to Bullit Boys to Jack Russel’s Great White to the crowd was fantastic! So much positive energy!
They were great! The energy of the band and the audience was contagious! The sound was really good, this is a venue I would definitely return to.
thought the actual show was great band was really good jack can really sing great would love to see them again
Absolutely insane show. Could not believe how good they were. On it all night. Absolutely incredibly insane
