JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE IN CONCERT:
Legendary '80s outfit Great White continues to carry the torch for glammed-up hard rock under the name Jack Russell's Great White, performing to sold-out crowds around the country with a rotating lineup that boasts original frontman Jack Russell. The indomitable Russell has surrounded himself with a prodigiously talented group of players, and the band always does justice to favorites like "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and "House of Broken Love" at their adrenaline-filled live shows. Fans of arena rock looking for an outsized concert experience look no further: Jack Russell's Great White always takes the stage with showmanship and bombast to spare.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Great White formed in Los Angeles in 1977 and initially performed under a variety of monikers including Highway, Livewire, and Dante Fox. After several lineup changes, they hit their stride in the early '80s and changed their name to Great White -- a nod to guitarist Mark Kendall's natural platinum blonde hair and signature all-white stagewear. A debut EP released in 1982 received heavy airplay in Los Angeles, making them local heroes and landing them a record deal with EMI. They released their self-titled debut album on the label in 1984, making their first appearance on the rock chart with the modest hit "Stick It". Mainstream success came with the 1987 release of their third album Once Bitten, a platinum-certified record that contained the Top 10 rock hits "Rock Me" and "Save Your Love". High-profile tours with Whitesnake, Judas Priest, and Dokken continued to fuel their popularity, paving the way for a string of big-selling albums released in the late '80s and early '90s. After a roster shakeup in the early '00s claimed several of the band's longtime members, Jack Russell continued to play the group's classic hits as Jack Russell's Great White. He carries on the band's legacy today, treating ticket buyers to career-spanning sets of Great White's classic hard rock tunes on tour.
Memories of a Lifetime! I’ve been to over 15 events. 90% of the entertainment at the Canyon SCV is a hit from each artist to the service the venue provides. A successful venture for sure that Santa Clarita should be able to enjoy for a long time.
This was a great show with jack sounding excellent as did the rest of the band. Jack's voice was on point, the musicianship was excellent, the new songs were rocking and the classics were pure pleasure to the ears. There is no reason I can think of as to why you would need to see any other band calling themselves Great White these days.
Enjoyed the show from a since that I was at the stage and could see everything perfectly and enjoyed the up close and personal view point, however the venue's sound system does not effectively direct the band vocals toward the very front of the stage. This caused me not to be able to hear the vocals. Lyrics were unable to be recognized other than the ones I knew from the songs. I was not disappointed with my seat location, but I wish I could have heard the concert better.

I've been a GW fan since their first album. They've always played smart amazing music and JR's voice has never missed. This show is no different. JR's voice is still 100%, the show is full of energy, and they played all the favorites! Awesome show you don't want to miss it...
My gf and I had a great night! For an acoustic show the sound was incredible and played all my favs! Plus Jack can really sing some Zeppelin! Always has been one of my all time top singers! Can't wait to see him come back!
Wow this guy still has it a gave it up, pure rock and roll from a awesome back up band. I mean really all of these guy nailed it. I am a lead guitar player mostly and both of the guys where excellent with their own styles. The drummer rocked as well. Jack hit every note and was energetic and humble, was a great show! I hope you who missed them can see them else where.
Any rumors of Jack Russell not being healthy or able to sing where quickly obliterated when he hit the stage Sunday night (Sept. 7) at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills. This guy can belt it out better than ever and put on a great show from beginning to end culminating in a spot on perfect pitch performance of Led Zepplin's Immigrant Song. If you get a chance, don't miss this tour. The band Jack put together is one of the best I've seen in a long time.
