His parents were convinced they were bringing up a 'genius'. What happened over the next several years was interesting and a delight hear Perlman describe. His imitation of Ed Sullivan might have left something to be desired but the Sunday showman certainly impacted Perlman's future success in the US. I’ve wanted to see Mr. Perlman play since I took a decade of violin and viola lessons and enjoyed playing in orchestras through high school @ college. He is spectacular & at 78 shows his zest for life & music! It was a fabulous afternoon with my husband who never had the opportunity earlier in life to enjoy a classical concert. This was fabulous for us both! Thanks

One of the best shows I’ve attended. Musical, thoughtful and humorous I’ve seen him in concert 40 years ago but this was a retrospective presentation under a cloud of global sadness. Which I needed.

Itzhak Perlman is truly a legend, his violin sings in a way no other does and I’m so glad I got to hear it live.

I was delighted to see the great Itzhak Perlman in my lifetime. He captivated the audience with his life stories and left me with a lifelong quote, "Separate your abilities from your disabilities."It would have been nice to hear more, but I settled for fulfilling moments where he stroked the violin in pure magic.

Seeing Itzhak Perlman was on my bucket list. This was a wonderful evening and Mr. Perlman did not disappoint. BCPA is a great venue and a gem to Fort Lauderdale. My seats were perfect, and the people around me were a delight

We really enjoy Itzhak performance. At 77 he still has the grace and feeling that inspires. we enjoyed the program selection and his sense of humor was a good note.

This has been on my bucket list for a while. He did not disappoint. Such talent and grace!!!

It has taken 81 years to fulfill my dream of attending a live concert to hear this virtuoso perform. I was not disappointed. All of his music filled my heart. I was particularly moved by his piece from the movie Schindler's List. Thank you, Itzak Perlman for an unforgettable evening! You were worth the wait.

Itzak Perlman was his charming and funny self. His performance is always inspiring. The surprise was the pianist. What a wonderful partner for Perlman! The piano was as inspiring as the violin. It would have been nice to have had Perlman positioned so we could have seen the pianist better as well. Blessings to Perlman for good health and continuing performing.

I couldn't miss the chance to hear Mr. Perlman live. I had wonderful seats so that I could hear and see everything. It was a magical experience, sublime, funny, stirring. Thanks for the chance to experience these wonderful artists!

Itzhak Perlman was on my wife’s bucket list. The show was GREAT and she was very surprised and loved the show.

My friend graciously gave my husband and I her tickets because she recently had surgery. I had no idea who Mr. Perlman was before that. What a wonderful evening as we were the recipients to such a once in a lifetime talent. Listening to his music, I found myself closing my eyes and just allowing myself to savor the entire experience from such a legend! The more I learn about his story, and journey, the more fascinated, I’ve become…such a true blessing!

1. This was the wrong venue for a 2 person show. It deserved to be more intimate. 2. There was no program. Only a list of what was to be played. 3. The mix was monolithic - we didn't get a feel for the true talent of either musician. 4. Our tickets were "club" which meant complimentary valet parking, complimentary fiod and drink. The only problem is we weren't told ahead of time! So we went out for dinner and paid to park in the overcrowded parkade. All in all, less than a worthwhile evening.

First, the system Ticketmaster had in place was horrible! Only phone tickets thru their app… so many people had trouble and then Broward Center had 1 person at each door. Their scanner wasn’t working well so it took forever to just get in. I’ve seen Itzhak before. He came on stage, said nothing., engaging with audience. He never said what songs he was playing the entire first half. Very disappointed. Send half someone must have said something. He was much better.

What can I add about Itzhak Perlman that has not been said? He is simply a genius, humble, fun and a gifted violinist. Loved the performance of Mr Rohan DaSilva, but could not see him because Mr Perlman was seated in such a way that he blocked the view of the pianist even though our seats were really good . Another suggestion: I brought a bottle of water and they confiscated it at the entrance. Not nice.
