What a fantastic event! Only issues were with timing between events and having to exit and come back in, wish there were re entry privileges. I had a great time from start to end
What a great experience, to watch some of the best skaters of a generation do their performances and programs - competing with all their heart and watching them shine! While the venue itself is expensive for water and snacks (plus no iced tea anywhere...), it was a good spot for the competition.
Entrance opened much too late, always a queue around the block! Must leave after the first session was annoying and nervy. Instead of having a break and eat at ease before the second session , it was queuing up in the cold and security check again. Because of that I missed half of the first group of the men's free skating! Having been to more than twenty world figure skating championships I can only say: Think of spectators' interests before you schedule!!
I am so pleased I was able to get to this historic event with three US gold medals and a glimpse of next year's Olympics. I liked how you kept us busy in between "sets"with DJs, interviews, etc. I was glad that you introduced each and every skater during their warm-up so they all got their moment in the sun. Very accessible venue with helpful staff at every turn -- ushers, elevator operators, etc.
What can I say? It was incredible to be able to attend a portion of the World Figure Skating Championships. I purchased expensive seats intentionally on the side of the rink where the judges were sitting (knowing that the ice dancers, in particular, really perform some of their moves in that direction, but I hadn't realized that the judging platform and cameras would actually interfere with some of the viewing in one particular corner of the rink, so certain things we had to watch on the screen. It would be great if the venue would be able to communicate exactly which seats will have this issue when hosting future ISU events, as we'll definitely be back!
I bought two (2) tickets in the Loge section for a family member and myself several months in advance. I was able to obtain a parking space easily and had the ticket on my phone. Found our seats easily and boy were they AMAZING! We had such an amazing time and is an experience I will never forget! Unfortunately, we were not able to get a program book during the show (due to mobility issues at the time). I would have liked the opportunity to be able to purchase a program book on the website, but could not find that option. Other than that, we had an incredible experience, and I will cherish that night forever. :-)
The energy in the arena was incredible. The talent was out of this world.
I went to the ISU World Figure Skating Championships Wed Mar 26 and Fri Mar 28 for the women's short and long programs. The Garden staff is wonderful. Professional, personable, and caring. Overall I had a great experience. My only concern was that one of the vendors near section 10 did not have anymore shrimp available when I went to order on Friday at around 5:50pm. It was disappointing to have to settle for chicken tenders and a ton of funky French fries(they had a weird coating). I won't comment on what I paid for the chicken and a soda, because well you overpay in every sports venue. It's a given. The staff makes the TD Garden a great venue.
I love watching figure skating on TV, but honestly, being there took it to such a higher level. Even being in the nosebleed section for some performances didn’t take away from the immediacy and the thrill of being there, watching it live.
My daughter and I attended the World Championship finals for Women’s, Ice Dance, and Men’s events and it was SO MUCH FUN!! I would highly recommend it!
Had a fabulous time attending the 2025 World Figure Skating Championships! TD Garden is easy to access on foot or by public transit, with plenty of dining options nearby. Food choices in the arena were a pleasant surprise - good variety & reasonable prices (we recommend the Italian sausage!). Nice space for vendors, exhibits, & merch. Restrooms get predictably busy but there are ample facilities & the lines move relatively quickly. The events themselves were thrilling & well organized, and the crowd was enthusiastic and fun!
The women's free skate was amazing. Great seats, great skating and more!
The entertainment value of the entire event is phenomenal. Seeing each and every skater, not just the top two groups that are seen on television ( unless you have Peacock) is the best. The atmosphere of seeing the skaters in person combined with the electricity of the reaction from the crowd is a unique experience. If you are a fan of figure skating and are able to attend a skating event, try to do it. But be sure to dress warmly. .
I saw all four of the final competitions and was the most impressive set of events I have ever seen live.
Even last row seats held the excitement of each dance. And the huge screens were clear and helpful. (However, next time can you coordinate with public transportation. Sadly, we had to leave event before the ending in order to catch the last trains.
The 2025 world figure skating championships were unforgettable. Memories we will never forget, a spectacular venue in downtown Boston. The two things that could have been better: 1. Allow enough time between events to give everyone the time to get inside in time. A lot of us missed the first few skaters in the men’s free program because the doors opened 20 minutes before the beginning of the event, with thousands of spectators to go through security. 2. Management of the suites. Several times during the weekend we had to ask security and guest services to intervene because of disrespectful spectators who were making a lot of noise in the suites, being very loud during the performances. The suites are like echo chambers, and unlike during music concerts, where the music is very loud, during a figure skating event whatever goes on in the suites can be heard by pretty much everyone in the sections below, and probably the athletes themselves at times. Sometimes the employees would react promptly, and other times they did not seem to want to take action despite several spectators expressing discontent, sometimes for hours.
Kudos to Boston and TD Garden for a fabulous World Championship!
The athletes’ performances were mesmerizing. Unlike the past, the talent is so deep in all disciplines. We were so thrilled to see Ilia win his second world title, in such commanding fashion!
This is the first time I had attended the world figure skating championships. I had always wanted to go, and it was on my bucket list. The CD arena was amazing and I got to see all the people I have watched for years in real time in real life. I love this.
