Great short track - Great racing! Everything about the Iowa Motor Speedway is first class. It’s a grea facility wth great FREE parking, bathroom facilities and consesion stands. Spectators can see the great racing on the entire track.
Great accommodations and clean facilities. The grounds are well kept.
We had a great time at Iowa Speedway. The race was great but also the seating and parking were easy.
Once you go into the track you can't go back to the midway without dumping your food or drinks when you go back in. The sponsor was the Iowa corn producers. Sunday they handed out corn but you couldn't take it into the track. Crazy. You buy bottled water in the track and go back out to the midway you have to pour your water out before you come back in.
No schedules anywhere. Tried to get one for fan walk but no luck there either. The event staff didn’t seem knowledgeable either on times or anything related to the venue. I did have fun, brought a student with a intellectual disability that I mentored through the school year to his first NASCAR race so that was fun. Food was all weird. The burger and fries came out late and one cashier questioned whether I ordered it. Also didn’t receive or was offered a receipt. It took the person behind me in line to confirm... I will be back because the race itself and other activities are fun. Please work on event staff though
There needs to be more shaded areas, drinks were way too expensive and I had tickets for the fan walk and nobody bothered to tell me I could have done it BEFORE the race. $20 wasted
Great track where everyone is like family. Great food vendors, wish I could try all of the food. The baconator looked good. When in Iowa expect pork and Casey’s pizza. Seats easy to find. Was very hot in the ninies so tables under the grand stand was a much needed escape from the hot sun. The track is short and progressively banked making for a great race and three wide. The only negative thing I could say is the scoring pylon which was very difficult to see in the sun. I heard other fans complaining about it also. You are usually able to see some of the drivers up close.
I didn't care for the stage racing. I became bored and left early. Also, never did know what time the race began. Website said 7 p.m., ticket said 5:30 p.m.

Great track to watch a race. Food at the track is over priced. ( $4 for a soda. ) I wish Nascar would bring a Cup race to Newton.
We purchased the cheap seats last minute and we got our money's worth and more. This is a great facility with great racing. Our seats were 2nd row but we could still see most of the track. There were definitely two grooves in the corners and there was a lot of passing. Pre race ceremonies were very good! National Anthem was performed by a young gal that nailed it! Great Event! We will be back!
My boys and I had a great time at this race. We're not NASCAR fans, and were just going because it's right here in Iowa and we wanted to check it out. I would recommend it to any NASCAR first-timer!
Great atmosphere, great facility, and an amazing staff. So much to do and great racing til the very end
This was the 3rd INDYCAR race I've been to this year and this was almost as bad as the Grand Prix of Indianapolis. Very boring! Unfortunately it was another "Penske Parade"! I drove 7 hours each way and sat in 90 degree heat to watch an extremely boring race! Although I have attended this race many times in the past, this was my last! INDYCAR really needs to find a way to even these teams up, so the drivers can be the difference!
Although a very hot day it was a great race. I feel this event could be so much more!!! Since it's a short race they should have music concerts during the day. Really build onto what Indy is like but iowa version. Really make it worth the trip for locals and people who travel great distances. I go to Indy each year for these reasons. Because it's an event worth experiencing!! One last note.. please have more event shirts available in all sorts of apparel selections. I could only find one shirt with the back being all "nascared" out. Would love a nice clean event design. No disrespect to that sport but you get what I mean...
Weather was a bit on the warm side but the race made you forget about it. High speed and great crowd.
This was the first time that my wife and I have attended the speedway. It was a fun filled day and a great experience for the both of us. We will go again.
This was our first race at the Iowa speedway and we loved it. We had great seats, good food and a fun night of racing. I was really impressed after the race at how fast they moved traffic out of the parking area, we hardly sat at all and had three rows running out to the interstate.
I've been to a lot of NASCAR Events but this was by far the best! So easy to get in and out of the facility. parking was a breeze and no long lines for anything, even though it was a huge crowd. Concert after the race was awesome too. They even have a fan-walk for $10 that allows you to take a shuttle into the infield and walk behind pit row. I would highly recommend Iowa Speedway to any race fan!
This was the first time my son and I had ever been to a NASCAR race of any kind. I had made sure to buy tickets for good seats and was ready for that. The day of the race my son and I were blessed by an much older couple with their set of fan walk bracelets as they were aware this was our first time and they had been to it many many times. We didn't know what to expect but we were never more excited to get to see the behind the scene pit areas, how the cars are checked before the race, and the winners circle. My son was so excited to actually get to go down on the track and see the drivers be introduced. He was over joyed when he actually got to stand on the finish/start time. These were dreams he had since he was 5 and he is 20 now. Thanks to ticketmaster, the older couple, and Iowa Speedway for giving my son and I a great event.
