A festival of music and wonder that exhilarates you to the rhythm of a major musical lineup, while making you experience hot air balloons in all its facets. Each year, it colors the sky with the largest number of balloons in the country. Added to this are a number of activities, a large ride area and an offering fit for foodies, all of which contribute to the unifying atmosphere of the festival.
This event is always fun and well organized. Billy Talent is an all-time favorite for me, their performance is always amazing. The activities on site are fun as well.
Unfortunately, this type of event is heavily reliant on good weather and the weather did not work out on Saturday, August 17, 2019. We did attend last year's event and it was terrific to see all the balloons a float. Venue is good for the event; don't really enjoy the loud music blaring while viewing the balloons, it is hard to have a conversation with someone sitting next to you. Also, the event is 100% in french over those loud speakers so you will not understand any announcements unless you ask a person at a concession stand. Will attempt to go next year if the weather is worthy of it; great for a Vermont resident to have such a wonderful event so close.
