A festival of music and wonder that exhilarates you to the rhythm of a major musical lineup, while making you experience hot air balloons in all its facets. Each year, it colors the sky with the largest number of balloons in the country. Added to this are a number of activities, a large ride area and an offering fit for foodies, all of which contribute to the unifying atmosphere of the festival.
We couldn’t fly because of the winds so we actually had to go in person to get our money back?!?!? We waited till 4 pm to get refunded. We tried to enjoy the place but it was really just some random rides that were pretty pricey…. Anyway never again!
It’s the third time I attend this festival, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. It was so packed, the infrastructure was not enough to support the amount of people present. It was impossible to get food after 6pm, we waited in line for two hours and could not get a meal. Had to eat popcorn and a pretzel as it was the only thing ready. The concert was so packed we were very far from the stage. I don’t think I’ll be back.
Absolutely amazing performance, set up was good, well organized. Was sad to see no hot air balloons as they were cancelled.
Overall it was really fun. Saddly the rain and the wind made the fly away of the montgolfières cancelled. But Avril Lavigne was insane!!! Had a blast!!
The music show was great , but the festival is horrible.
The music was good, but there were 2h line ups at every food truck. Not enough facilities to accommodate everyone. This really impacted my experience and will unfortunately not repeat.
It was a great experience! The only thing is the long wait to get food but otherwise it was an awesome festival!:)
The festival was awesome. Rides and activities available for all ages. The only downside is that you spend half the time in lines. Want a drink? Line. Food? Line. Bathroom break? Line. You have to walk between the lines and at some points it’s not fun anymore. But hey, that is part of the game. The « Nuit magique » was beautiful best part of the event imo. The show was beyond amazing - charlotte cardin is the best of the best. If you want good spot you need to arrive at opening cause people are camping - this shouldn’t be allowed like at the FMG.
If you've got $200 to 4 to spend on nothing, go for it. An old-fashioned funfair where you have to pay extra to ride the rides. Because of the weather, no hot-air balloons took off. The organizers must have known this and should have warned people at the entrance. The concerts were not interesting and we left in torrential rain. We should be reimbursed
Event information was very difficult to obtain. Hardly any information was available in English. Tickets show 13:00 start time. Concert started at 20:00! Lots of people were stuck there for the day (no re-enter policy) I attend lots of concerts, this one will make me rethink events in Quebec.
